Chapter 41 - Conversation

What bothered Qing Yanjing was Ming Ze's hand. This physical contact sometimes reminded her of the times when their bodies were one.

She tried to pull her hand to remove it from Ming Ze's, but found that the latter was holding it tightly.

"Let go of that," she said in a rather high tone.

It seemed that she still preferred the normal way rather than having to use her strength.

Of course, Ming Ze wasn't so easily commanded. He shook his head as he replied, "I hope you accept our relationship with an open heart, Your Majesty. You know, the heavens themselves made it official."

Qing Yanjing, "..."

Actually, when reminded of the destiny that determined their relationship, Qing Yanjing felt something thrilling, but as a woman who was not far from the peak of cultivation, the concept of destiny controlling her life was not so pleasant.

She naturally didn't think of it as fate, just an unavoidable accident.
