Chapter 1 - Chapter 1- Farewell for Now

Somewhere far away in a plane of a different reality than the one where most mortals live, A battle rages between beings of tremendous power.

"Stand your ground Soldiers!!! We make our stand here" roared a man in black armor adorned by a golden glow, His thunderous roar sending a wave of vigor to all the troops standing behind him in a braced shield wall.

The troops respond with a thundering war cry but soon that war cry is overwhelmed by a distant but maddening scream.

"The Horde is close." warned a man in silver armor, His white aura almost blinding to the superficial eye.

"Retreat Zuva, The enemy approaches with all his might. Your little band of spears and shields will not be able even to hold their ground, Let alone push the enemy back. " the man continues while looking downcast with glaring eyes

"Retreat!, Nubek we are losing worlds and planes like sand from our hands. I cannot retreat, These men decided to follow me through death and despair, through victory and defeat. We can not retreat." thundered Zuva without a speck of hesitation.

" Do not talk about death, We have n—--" His words were interrupted by the same terrifying screams, this time not so distant.

"Zuva, I can hold them back, just enough for your troops to retreat. You know what to do after that brother, The Realm of Humanity must be protected." Nubek's words of concern are again interrupted, although this time It was his brother.

"I will not lose another brother, No, And how can you even suggest that I abandon you against these monsters," said Zuva with utter disbelief.

" I will not witness another massacre just because another immortal can not think rationally with their high-and-mighty head. You will save the lives of the mortals who decided to follow you because that is what we do" Nubek conjures a portal behind the troops with these domineering words.

"Meet you on the other side brother" Continues Nubek

"Where are we going," said Zuva with unexpected calmness

"You always were the curious child," said Nubek with a brave smile as he put his hand on Zuva's chest and blasted him into the portal.

"SOLDIERS!, Follow your Commander" screamed Nubek hastily, and voice that was conjured with all his might.

The troops soon follow suit with blitzing haste.

Nubek closes the portal as soon as the last of the soldiers passes through and turns to meet the enemy upfront.

This is the first time he indeed looks at the enemy, the very nature of it.

The horde approaches

Beasts and Mortals of various kinds fill the ranks of the massive horde, true diversity for none of them is alike, Although all of them have one distinct thing in common.

The black eyes of every creature under the influence of Chaos display a purposeful calm but their screams tell otherwise.

Nubek with glaring determination in his eyes prepares to face the massive horde.

"I am Nubek, It is through me that the Primordial Ocean flows and it will be me who will bring Order back into the Planes of Realities," Said Nubek while focusing his power into conjuring a gigantic wave behind him.

The Horde charges with terrifying speed.

THE REALM OF HUMANITY

Somewhere on Earth, Utter Darkness

Zuva wakes up clasping his head with all his might

He realizes that he is surrounded by Endless darkness

"Where am I before you give me a cliche answer,

Know that I am aware of your presence." Said Zuva

" You do not belong here immortal, The protocol of Realities states that No immortal can enter the Realm of Humanity without the proper invitation from The Giants," said a gravely heavy voice with no source that can be distinguished.

" The same protocol states that No mortal of different reality shall enter The most Serene Realm of Humanity no matter what." The voice continues

" Don't worry, I am not here by choice" said Zuva with a hint of disdain

" I did not even want to be here in this so-called SERENE realm." Continued Zuva with notable sarcasm in his demeanor.

"You dare mock the Giants, Do remember puny Immortal that It is us who will allow your elemental power to work in this Realm,

And as for the question of your untimely visit, Our curiosity got the better of us and we would like to know the reason behind this grave mistake." said the voice with severe monotone.

" Well where to start," said Zuva with no decrease in Sarcasm.

" The Plane of Immortality was destroyed by The Chaos and Beasts under its Hive Mind control." He pauses and continues

" We do not know the origin and we do not know how to defeat it. Anything or Anyone who comes in contact with it loses consciousness to The Chaos. After the Host of Immortality was defeated at the battle of Altina, The Chaos turned its eyes towards the Elemental Realms and So far It has failed to enter any of the Elemental Realms, largely thanks to the survivors of Altina who rallied mortals and beasts alike from different realms in order to protect Elemental Realms, Some even giving up their precious immortality to keep Chaos at bay." Said Zuva with an unexpected nonchalance in his words.

After a long wait

The voice speaks again

" This–" the voice pauses for a moment and continues

"Is concerning, The Giants have understood the grave situation that you have faced and offer a rare impromptu invitation on their behalf. They welcome you to The Most Serene Realm of Humanity and extend their trust that you will respect and abide by the Natural Order of this Realm" said the voice pausing again for just a moment and then continuing

" That brings us to the next order of business, that is the question concerning the mortals that followed you to this Realm, As stated before, They are not allowed here but as this situation is of great concern The Giants are ready to make an exception—" The voice is hastily interrupted by Zuva

"I don't care, Banish the mortals, Kill them or whatever the protocol suggests, They do not serve any purpose to me, Not anymore," said Zuva with unexpected calmness.
