Chapter 28 - That's not flying, that's just falling with style.

[Song for this chapter Hecate Music a Cowardly Warrior]

{Cargo Airplane, December 1st}

"Seriously I hate having to go on these." I grumbled while laying on one a big cargo box eating a can of pringles. I had been going from flight to flight for the past 8 hours and right now I was flying over in the Atlantic Ocean.

"On the way back I honestly think I should try to get on a passenger plane again, I mean sure there are a lot of people there but I don't know I think it would be better than this." I grumbled once again while stretching and sitting up.

I finished my can of pringles and threw it into my shadow, then my 'sight' caught something three huge 10 meter serpentine creatures with scaly wings and 2 back legs.

"Oh come on Trojan Dragons what the hell did I do." I couldn't help but complain, so I summoned my spear into my right hand. "I can't help but wonder what the hell the pilots are seeing."

The dragons landed onto the plane their talons and claws digging into the aircraft ripping the metal sheets from the sides of the plane.

-RAAWWRRRR-

They both roared as they drove their heads into the aircraft, I started gathering shadows around me, and infusing them into my body filling me with power. I then summoned my tendrils from my shadow, extending them trying to control the damage the serpentine dragons were doing.

The biggest dragon which was as big as a bus, busted the cockpit, the pilots which were trying to control the descending aircraft, flew out at the sudden change in pressure.

"Oh, heck no." I said as I stretched two of my tendrils quickly catching them, one of the dragons which was able to get inside the aircraft bashed into me as I was saving the pilot's loosening my grip on them, and flinging me outside of the plane.

The wind howled in my ears as I thankfully had my special sight which allowed me to keep a close eye on where the Trojan Dragons were. While I was spiraling out of control one of the dragons dived towards me with his mouth wide open.

I sent my tendrils toward it ensnaring his mouth and wings, I used my tendrils and latched myself onto the dragon's back. It started raging out of control as soon as I set my feet on his scaly back, "Time for you to go, you overgrown snake." I grabbed my spear and sunk it into the dragon's head.

-RAAWWRR-

A roar of pain left his mouth as I impaled the dragon's brain, at the dragon's roar the other two dived toward me, the bigger one bashed into me which flung me off one of the dragon's back, but the job had already been done.

The wind continued spiraling me and clinging me around as the two remaining dragons encircled me.

The smaller of the two dragons dived at me, its mouth agape, I sent my tendrils towards the dragon, encircling the dragon's wings with a swift motion I pulled myself onto it's underbelly.

"And another one bites the dust." I said as I plunged my bronze spear into the dragon, with a sudden pop, its heart exploded and the eyes hearts lost their lively glow, a few moments later the dragon started dissipating into Tartarus.

Now only the last dragon remained and with a roar infused with anger and fury at its fallen brethren. It charged, and I braced myself, my tendrils reaching out once more while the wind hit my face. They found their mark around the dragon's massive jaws, and I hauled myself onto its back.

"Let's see how you like this," I said, my voice steady despite the dragon's movements.

I tried to steer the beast, my tendrils pulling at the corners of its mouth, but the dragon had other plans. With a sudden jerk, it headed straight for the water, determined to shake me off.

I clung on for dear life, my tendrils straining against the dragon's strength. "No, you don't!" I shouted, but it was no use. The dragon plunged into the ocean, the impact forcing my tendrils to lose their grip. I was thrown clear, the cold water enveloping me, dragging me down into the depths.

"Oh shit I am in the water, I am in water!" I yelled at the sudden thought of what my dad said would probably happen if I ever went into a sea or ocean.

The dragon circling below me in the depths started to rise, its mouth open wide, I infused all my shadowy tendrils into myself, my body being filled with more power than ever before.

I drew my spear and threw it into the water, cutting through the water currents, then the dragon's head, then its brain, slowly the dragon dissiapted. I unsummoned my spear my greek tatoo appearing once again on my hand.

"Now I am in the water with no way of getting to land." I whined aloud.

Just as I finished speaking the thing my dad said would happen if I ever went into the sea happened, the waves started growing bigger, currents started appearing out of nowhere.

A monstrous wave crashed over me, sending me spiraling down to the sea floor. I pushed against the water, desperate for air, but the sea was a cruel master. "I..need..air," I gasped, my voice barely a bubble in the vast ocean.

Each time I fought my way to the surface, a new wave, towering and fierce, thrust me back into the depths.

My lungs yearned for oxygen, and I could feel my strength slowly leaving me.

"Ugg..I hate.. you.. Poseidon," I choked out, as the water filled my mouth, silencing my wrath. The current dragged me further away, deep into the ocean's cold heart, where light and hope seemed to dim more every second.
