The abandoned factory was on the east of the town, opposite to where I was before. So it kinda took another hour to reach there.
Plus, I stopped to get a black robe in between and a white mask, just to make sure even if I were to get caught, hopefully nothing gets messed up.
Reaching there, I stopped at a distance away from the main gate since a couple of guards were present there.
'Guards at an abandoned factory? Seems like the right place,' I smiled before noticing a bunch of cars at a distance.
Each of those cars looked lavish and luxurious, so someone influential was here.
"All right. Let's inspect more closely," I mumbled as I circulated mana into my blood vessels before grabbing my chest at its acupuncture point and then clenching it with a fixed amount of force.
This should increase the amount of blood being pumped at once, while the mana should neutralize any negative effect because of its healing nature.
Since it is air mana, I should also be able to maintain a functional oxygen demand that my body requires without getting tired.
-Whoosh!
I dashed from there without making any unnecessary steps, and choosing a darker area, I jumped to reach the 3 meter wall, barely grabbing the top with my fingers.
Using a little parkour skills, I jumped over it and then got on the other side and immediately began running in a random direction, while keeping the surroundings in my sight.
The idea was to keep running until I find someone or something suspicious. Since there are people around, it shouldn't be as hard to find something if I keep running at my full speed.
And just as I thought, I found someone… a familiar face at a distance from here.
A bunch of men dressed in black surrounded a man with blue hair at the center. The blue-haired guy was the one whom I met in this world as soon as I opened my eyes.
'Richard, was it?' I recalled his name as I saw him fighting against 7 people at once.
He was using Water Magic and seemed quite proficient in it. Though the seven people didn't seem ordinary either. Without being able to use mana, they were quite skilled.
Especially the weapons that they were using. Those weapons were canceling the effect of water mana that Richards was using, putting him at quite a disadvantage.
"Just tell me where Ivory is, and I will let you die an easy death," another man, green-haired this time, spoke out from a distance. His eyes were pale green compared to his shoulder length hair.
He wore a pale red coloured suit and stood there menacingly with his hands in his pocket. Your typical B-grade villain.
"Tristan. You will need to walk over my dead body before hurting anyone in my supervision," Richard said, some cringe worthy lines… but I guess it was fine.
"Hurt? No. I will only make her scream a little… " Tristan spoke with an ugly smile as he added," but are you sure you have the time to talk?"
Well. Ignoring them, I looked around the area to find any traces of where the girl Ivory could be.
Maybe I could use this situation?
'[Mana Eyes]' I mumbled under my breath as I circulated mana in my eyes, and concentrated around the area.
All you need to do is change the frequency of the current your eyes are receiving and anyone can see mana around. Easy right?
Anyway, I looked at the traces of water, mostly around Richard, and poison, mostly around Tristan. Then, looking carefully, there were traces of light mana as well, reaching near the pits at a distance.
"Found ya," I spoke in an inaudible voice, before circling around the people and reaching the pit as I followed the light mana traces.
I was almost about to reach the place first, but… someone else was already present in front of Ivory, as she stood there, barely being able to hold herself.
The person in front of her was at least twice as tall and was quite muscular as well. He wasn't a giant, though… I don't feel the energy of giants coming from him.
"BOSS! FOUND HER!" He shouted as he looked at Ivory, and after a few seconds.
"GOOD JOB MUSE! BRING HER HERE! WE WILL HOST A SHOW FOR OUR CAPTAIN RICHARD!! HAHAHAHA!!" Shouted that green-haired poison mage, Tristan.
"YOU BASTARD!!!" I could also hear Richard shouting from there before his voice got cut off.
Ivory was the same orange haired girl who first came with Richard in my room. Though looking at her torn clothes, and the fluctuating mana, it seemed like she had been fighting for a while now.
Richard probably came late and gave a chance to escape. Though that didn't seem to have worked out for them.
Muse walked closer to Ivory, one step at a time, while Ivory placed her blade aimed at Muse, preparing for another fight.
As for me, I wondered if I should wait for a few minutes to sort out their fight, or should I just jump in and settle it all?
-Whoosh!
Musa, who seemed to be bulky, jumped rather at an insane speed, immediately reaching Ivory, much to her dismay.
"All right. Jumping in it is then," I circulated the mana within my body, this time at 200% and then controlled my breathing for a brief moment as everything around me slowed down to the minimum.
Muse, who was about to reach Ivory, and Ivory, who was about to get punched, everything came to a halt before I stretched a little and began running in a circle around Musa.
Running in a half circle, I reached Ivory, grabbed her by her waist, and then circled around to reach Muse's back before I stopped using mana and resumed normal breathing.
Everything returned to normal, as I now had Ivory in my arms, confused and dumbfounded. While Muse, immediately turned around alert before looking at me.
"Now… what shall we do with this situation?" I smiled as I thought about the next few steps.
