THE RAIN CATCHER
Suddenly, the wind formed a cyclone around the arena. But this cyclone wasn't the girl's attack. Instead, the cyclone's quickly shrunk.
Soon, the diameter of the wind was condensed on a point before Strega. Before long, a sharp spear formed from the girl's wind struck forth toward me.
"Try to receive my wind spear", she shouted to me.
However, to the girl's shock and surprise, her spinning spear of wind missed. It was misdirected at the last moment before it was due to strike me.
"Greater Chaos Field"
"How can your magic divert away my Spell?" Strega asked me angrily and also curiously.
"Because my magic is stronger than yours", I replied to her.
"Impossible. How can an un-awakened be able to defeat a Spell?" Strega asked.
Suddenly, someone on a flying pavilion shouted to Strega.
"Don't waste time on him, use your divine artifact", the woman said to Strega.
"Yes, teacher", Strega replied to the woman.
Strega brought out a strange umbrella and opened it. She released the umbrella into the air when suddenly a golden light was emitted from it.
"What the hell are you doing with an Umbrella when there is no rain?" I asked her.
"This is not an ordinary Umbrella. It is a divine artifact with a name- The Rain Catcher", she replied to me.
Strega began casting her wind Spell towards me again. I noticed something different this time though.
Technically, there was no difference in Strega's magic from the last time she cast it. The difference was with me. My chaos magic seems to be ineffective.
Then I realized the problem.
It was Strega's Umbrella. The golden light that shone from it was powerful lights of Order magic. It is the only magic that could neutralize my Chaos magic.
My Greater Chaos Field became ineffective all of a sudden.
"It seems you are prepared for this match with me. This artifact is impressive", I said to Strega.
"We have all kinds of artifacts and machines in Prolis. We use them as often as we use our Spell although only noteworthy opponents could make us use them", she replied to me in a sort of praise.
Strega's wind spear was gaining speed against me. There wasn't much I could do about the spear, so I tried to evade it.
However, despite my best speed, I only avoided parts of the wind spear. I was struck by parts of the magic. Luckily for me, I avoided the most condensed part of Strega's wind spear.
Even then, the wind could crush most Legendary beings at that density.
However, the wind spear barely scratched me.
"Impossible, how can your body be this tough?", Strega asked me.
"I told you before I'm a genius", I replied to her.
"You Shadow Conjurers have many secrets, but you cannot win against absolute power", Strega told me.
"I am not a Shadow", I was about to reply to her but there were many who watched our fight.
There would be those who wouldn't like it if I refused to admit being a Shadow Conjurer, so I didn't reply to her.
Suddenly, many magical points were conjured before Strega before these pointers sprouted out sharp tips. These tips were made from the magic of the wind which turned into spears.
Each of these wind spears were as tough as the first spear that she sent to strike me.
Against so many wind spears, it would be impossible for me to survive a direct hit by these projectiles. And it would be difficult to dodge them all.
"I must think", I told myself.
Strega's Spell was powerful, but they were not able to withstand my chaos magic. The only reason those spears could strike me was because of the Umbrella artifact.
"I am sorry", I shouted to Strega.
"What are you sorry for?" she asked me.
"You still owe me your Saree. I'll take this as compensation", I replied to Strega when suddenly something rushed toward her.
Suddenly, hundreds of shadows reached Strega before she could react to them.
Then thousands of blinding flashes struck the Umbrella above Strega. This light reflected flashes came from the reflections of Mithrium blades that were sent to break the umbrella by my Shadow malevolent.
My Shadow Malevolent were sent to destroy Strega's Umbrella. But the Umbrella couldn't be broken by them.
"It is useless, you cannot destroy our artifact", Strega told me smilingly.
"Think, I must think", I told myself again as I struggled to find a way to defeat the magic Umbrella.
Finally, I thought of something that may work.
Suddenly, a shadow appeared before me.
This wasn't an ordinary shadow of the mundane.
The shadow was in the form of a frog. The shadow frog possessed a jeweled crowns on his head slowly danced toward the Umbrella.
"Shadow Frog Consumes the World"
"How did a Frog enter the combat?" someone asked.
"Who the hell? No what the Hell is that blinding frog?" another asked.
"What kind of Shadow magic are you casting?" Strega asked me in shock and surprise.
The shadow frog was the representation of the templar skill that I stole from Warlock of Delirium. It originally conjures a powerful frog that consumes the light in the surrounding.
From my experience, my Mind accepted the magic and helped me command and recreate it. The frog isn't a templar skill but a manifestation of the magic of my Mind.
There was a difference though between my magic and my previous conjuration. This magic is affected by the Shadow magic in me.
My Shadow Frog, unlike the Radiant Frog, doesn't explode at the end of the journey. It merely consumes all the light and magic in its path.
Suddenly, the whole arena and a large part of Tarah city perhaps were covered by an eclipse in the sky. The only light that could be seen in the sky was fragments of light being consumed by the contours of a dancing frog.
