TO TORTURE WITH INSULTS
"We cannot do that. The Shadow sect is not banned from this competition", Conjurer Iras reminded the conjurers.
Everyone who saw the scene was shocked by the conjured giant. Those who had better understand of the magic worry because this was the magic of the Shadow Conjurers.
"Rawwrrrrrrr"
The colossal giant screamed at a flying pavilion that flew too close to him and the pavilion and their guests were thrown into the air by the gush from his scream. The guests fell to the ground and broke their bones, most probably.
"What in hell is this?" Spiros asked.
"This is your nightmare", Ivior shouted back in reply.
Prince Spiros rose into the air again to face Ivior and his mysterious giant before he conjures another magic.
However, he was too slow for the colossal giant.
With a single swing, the giant's enormous hand could move across half of the arena. The conjured giant's hand grabbed Spiros and squeezed him inside, crushing him.
"Plea for your life", Ivior shouted to Spiros.
Spiros wanted to admit defeat, but he couldn't speak as he was strangled by the giant, crushed by it inside its closed fist.
"Stop this fight, it is over. You win", Conjurer Iras shouted out to stop the fight.
Finally, Conjurer Ivior relented and released Prince Spiros.
"Ivior wins"
------
"How did this Ivior become so powerful suddenly?" a conjurer asked the other conjurers.
"We have no idea. He was pretending to be a fool up till recently", another conjurer said to them.
"Something is wrong with his magic if it could become this strong all of a sudden", another conjurer added.
"He must have joined the Shadow Sect and received benefits from them. There is no other explanation", Conjurer Iras replied to them.
"Aye" "Yea" "Agreed"
The Conjurers all agree that Conjurer Ivior must have joined the Shadow Sect and received benefits from them that helped him advance his magic and conjure the enormous giant at the semi-finals of the Inheritance Competition.
"I am more worried about the result of the Conjurer Inheritance competition. Are we going to let Ivior get the Inheritance? What if he is with the Shadow sect? With his character that will be a disaster for the Conjurer Court", Iras said to them and asked.
"We were hoping Spiros would help us but even he was so easily defeated", someone said to them regretfully.
"We can't let a Shadow sect win", someone said.
"We have no choice in that. Both the finalists are Shadow Conjurers or suspected Shadow conjurers. That Yaw Bulee also killed our Supreme Conjurer Geesea. That will be a worse disaster", another conjurer told them.
The conjurers were at a loss. They feared their Conjurer Inheritance would fall to the Shadow sect, but such a scenario has become imminent, and nobody has a solution to avert it.
"Someone comes out with a plan to stop this please", a Supreme Conjurer pleaded with them.
Suddenly, someone came to see Conjurer Iras.
"Asterix, why have you come to see me?" Iras asked Asterix.
"The boss has another message for you", she replied to him.

[In the Temple of the Shadow Conjurers before the Conjurer Inheritance Contest]
"Adept Bulee, will you hurt someone for us?" the Red Elder asked me.
"Who do you want me kill?" I asked him.
"Conjurer Ivior", the Red Elder told me to my surprise.
Ivior was a nasty fella who tried to suck up to the Shadow Conjurers to obtain some benefits, but I wondered how his name registered in the mind of the elders and what motive they have to kill him.
"Who is this Ivior?" I asked him.
"He is the one that you slapped on frequent occasions in the Pleasure Court", Red Elder told me.
"Do you mean the bag carrier who betrayed us?" I asked him.
"Yes", he replied to me.
"Gladly and when do you want him dead?" I asked the Red Elder.
"Soon, during the Conjurer Inheritance Competition", the Red Elder told me.
"I can still join the Conjurer Inheritance Competition? They are going to arrest me," I asked the Red Elder.
"Why not? You were not arrested properly by the Conjurer Court. They have no right to arrest you", the Red Elder told me.
"You are right. I know what you mean", I replied to him.
"You are not to kill him quickly. You must provoke and torture him slowly until he becomes desperate", Red Elder told me to my surprise.
"Damn, you must have a serious grudge with that cockroach. You just want me to torture him?", I told him and asked.
"No, I don't know him personally", Red Elder replied to me.
The Shadow Conjurers work in mysterious and often sinister ways. I couldn't fully comprehend their methods, but I could comply with them if it suited my aims.
------
The finals of the Conjurer Inheritance contest have begun.
"Bulee vs Ivior"
"Finally, I meet you. It is time for me to repay you for how you treated me before this", Conjurer Ivior said to me.
"Repay me? You mean when I gave you a woman's dress to wear? Nah forget about it, nobody will want it back after you tried them on", I asked Ivior when the entire crowd rose in laughter.
Previously, in my newspaper, the Herald Times, we often made fun of Conjurer Ivior as a cross-dresser with all other kinds of perverted hobbies. He suffered greatly under our humiliating exposures of his alleged hidden fancies.
His fall from the echelons of power in the Conjurer Court was in many ways because of our defamation.
"NB. This world is a conservative society that doesn't tolerate out of the box fancies. No offense to those with different fashion preferences. Sorry. Don't sue me for this 😊"
"How did you know about that?" Ivior asked me angrily.
Conjurer Ivior was particularly easy to irritate today, so I decided to provoke him more. Getting emotional in battle was a serious disadvantage and I was determined to make Ivior continue with the disadvantage.
I was also doing my job from the Red Shadow Elder. Humiliating him was also a kind of torture.
