FAREWELL TO MY WIVES AND FRIENDS
"What are we going to do about my sisters, they will lose their lives again after we leave this place", Meera asked me.
Meera's succubi sisters were revived in this magic realm, but their resurrection will not persist outside of this realm.
"We can leave them here in this realm until they recover fully", I told Meera.
"That will not be possible. Our souls are connected to Meera, bound to hers. Without her with us, even if our bodies recover, our soul will be gone. We cannot remain here if Meera leaves", Seviera told us.
The only way for both Meera and her sisters to be resurrected was for them to stay here in the Realm of Life.
"I cannot leave you master", Meera pleaded with me.
I was in a dilemma.
I wasn't willing to let Meera leave me and stay in this realm, but she would never be resurrected if she followed me back to the Ten-Kingdoms.
"Meera, you must stay here in the Realm of Life to be resurrected again. That is my greatest wish to you and your sisters. It is my greatest regret to get you killed and turned into a golem. Now, heaven has given me another chance, I must resurrect you", I told Meera.
"No, I will never leave you even if I am never resurrected", Meera insisted.
I was about to give in to the girl when Seviera stepped forward with a suggestion.
"We will stay here in the Realm of Life and await your return master", Seviera said to me suddenly when Meera asked her for the reason.
"Why? I cannot leave master", Meera asked Seviera.
"It is as prophesied in the Revelations. The Succubi must be baptized in the River of Life before they can join the Dark Angel again in heaven. We cannot serve the Dark Angel in our current situation", Seviera told her.
Meera thought about it before she asked, "But where is the River of Life?"
"This is the River of Life", Seviera told Meera as she pointed to the milky river that we came into this realm from before she brought out a scroll.
"Baptism in the River of Life"
There was the depiction of a river inside the scroll and on the other end of the river there was a fountain, the Fountain of Life. That depiction was almost identical to the milky river here.
"I understand, if this is the will of the Revelations, I will stay here awaiting my resurrection", Meera told me reluctantly.
Meera would not leave me for anything unless it was the will of the Revelations. Her devotion to her religion was the only thing that could keep her away from me.
"Are we really leaving without Meera?" Cassandra asked me.
"No, even you, Cass. You must stay here too. I need you to be resurrected in this realm", I said to Cassandra.
"But I am not bound by the prophecies of the Revelations", Cassandra protested to me.
"Yes, you are not bound by Revelations, but it is my wish that my family will be together and alive in the future. This place is the only place that would make that happen", I told her, even though I was reluctant to leave her in the Realm of Life.
"Or we can all stay here in this realm", Ratatouille suggested to us.
"I'm afraid that is not possible. Only the dead or those requiring healing will thrive in the Realm of Life. Living beings who are not lacking in life cannot stay here for too long", Yamboo told us suddenly.
"Why is that?" Rinna asked him.
"Because nature will not allow it. If you have too much life, your life will cease to exist", Yamboo told us when suddenly from a distance, a huge and old tree exploded in a show of light all of a sudden.
"What happened to the tree?" I asked.
"That tree has run its course. It absorbed too much life from this realm, so it was time for it to return the magic", Yamboo told us.
"So, things do die in the Realm of Life?" I asked.
"In a way, yes they do", Yamboo replied to me.
"Chash, will you stay here?" Ratatouille asked the revived turtle.
"I will miss you all, but you can come visit us at any time", Chash told us.
Chash wouldn't be lonely in this world since his friends the Soul spirits would also be staying. Meera would have her sisters and Cassandra with her. Cassandra would have Meera and the others with her.
As a further inducement, Chash can fly again in the sky of this realm as a flying Turtle. That was his lifelong dream.
"Don't worry, I'll return here when I can", I said to them.
"What about you, Ratatouille?" Rinna asked the greedy Anti-Saint.
"My resurrection may happen, but it wouldn't be coming from this realm", he replied to her.
"What about Sara? Will she be staying here?" Rinna asked us.
"No way. I never wanted to have a weak body like humans, the quicker I leave this damned place the better", Sara replied to us.
Although Sara could transform into a human completely in this world, those are not her wish and desire. She would follow wherever Rinna was going.
We stayed for a little while in the Realm of Life, helping our friends to build a small settlement here. Together they would protect themselves from the dangers in this realm while they resurrected their bodies with the magic here.
"There is one last thing that I need to do", I told them.
"What is it master?" Meera asked me.
"All of you are no longer bound to me as golems. You do not need to be my golems to live", I told them.
The golem magic that I used to revive Chash, Cassandra and Meera was out of necessity rather than choice. If I had a choice I would rather they live as humans than my contracted golems.
In this Realm of Life, they would not need to depend on my magic for sustenance. They would become independent and eventually, resurrect as humans again.
I broke the golem bond between me and the three of them.
"We will miss you", my wives and friends told me as we were about to leave the Realm of Life.
"We will be reunited soon", I told them.
After bidding our farewell, we left the Realm of Life, Rinna, Sara and I.
