THE SACK OF THE TEMPLAR ACADEMY
In the shadow of twilight, monstrous amalgamations of flesh, crafted from the remains of the dead, relentlessly battered against the fortified walls of the Knight Templar academy.
These grotesque abominations, known as Flesh Meats, served as the vanguard of the demon army's siege.
Following closely behind the Flesh Meats, a horde of demons and sorcerers materialized, unleashing torrents of potent magic upon the stout defenses of the academy.
Expecting minimal resistance, the demon forces were taken aback as the academy's walls bristled with formidable countermeasures. Mystical barriers shimmered into existence, warding off the onslaught of arcane fire.
Then, in a dazzling display of defensive prowess, towering apparitions descended from the heights of the academy walls.
These were Avatars, manifestations of collective knightly magic, summoned to repel the encroaching Flesh Meats.
-----
"Why are these bloody knights putting up a defense? I thought we poisoned all of them in their Conferment ceremony?" Emily asked in surprise.
"There are many hidden masters inside the academy who don't care about parties, you should have run your schemes with me first. I would have made sure mistakes like this will not happen", Kolgane told her.
"We have information the strongest Knight Templars including the Knights of the Cross would attend the Conferment Ceremony. Our poison is undetectable by the strongest knights and would make them useless for a period of time", Emily replied to him.
"Then why are there still knights manning the walls of the academy if they are all poisoned?" Kolgane asked her.
"I…I don't know", Emily replied.
"Now go and remedy your mistake", Queen Emerald told Emily, the Spider Queen to remedy her mistake and lack of planning.
"I..", Emily tried to protest but the Queen gave her a stern look.
Emily, or the Spider Queen Anansi, went to the frontlines to join the battle.
-----
Emily underwent a swift transformation, morphing into a formidable spider, the spider Queen Anansi, poised for attack against one of the Knights' Avatars,
In a sudden flurry, sturdy webs erupted from her form, ensnaring one of the powerful Avatars and rendering it immobile beneath her silken threads.
Seizing on the opportunity, a Flesh Meat delivered a mighty blow to the Avatar's chest, the impact resonating through the gathered knights inside the Avatar and momentarily shattering their magical defenses.
With the Avatar momentarily incapacitated, the Spider Queen released a horde of spiderlings, which swarmed toward the knights.
Though the knights swiftly attempted to summon another Avatar to fend off the onslaught, they proved unable to halt the spiderlings' advance. The tiny creatures darted past the knights' defenses, sinking their fangs into their flesh and infiltrating their bodies.
Before long, the knights succumbed, their bodies rupturing from the poison of the spiderlings to birth scores of new spiderlings.
Defeated and bereft of their summoning Avatar, the knights fell, leaving the Flesh Meats to resume their assault on the walls unabated again.
------
"I will destroy you today vile spider for the benefit of mankind", someone shouted at the Spider Queen Anansi before appearing before her.
The voice came from a knight with a glowing aura, his power reverberated throughout the battlefield.
"Who is this guy?" Darklord asked.
"He is Prince Spiros, the strongest of the Knight Templars in his generation, save the Bully of course", Kolgane replied to him.
"Spiros have changed much", Queen Emerald commented suddenly as she appreciated the changes in Spiros.
"He would have made a good consort for our Queen", Kolgane said to them.
"Indeed", the Queen replied.
"Too bad he still has the smell of spiders on him", Darklord said to them to the dismay of the queen.
Prince Spiros was once the fiancé of one of the Queen's alter egos. However, he slept with the spider queen Emily with the consent and urging of the Queen herself, who had a secret purpose of implanting a curse on him, the Tarantella curse.
Spiros was supposed to die under the Tarantella curse, but he survived and became much stronger. Now he seemed to come back to the Spider Queen for revenge.
Suddenly, a powerful conjured hand rushed toward Anansi, the Spider Queen. The hand was conjured by Prince Spiros which quickly held the spider in her neck.
"Hand of Reckoning"
"I will kill you for all you've done to me", Prince Spiros shouted to the spider who was the transformation of Emily.
"It is not so easy to kill me, try freeing yourself from my webs first", the Spider Queen replied to the prince as she fired sticky webs into the body of the prince and the knights who came with him to immobilize them.
Spiros and the knights conjured flaming blades to destroy the webbing on them, but the webs couldn't be broken by force or fire.
"This web will not stop me from killing you", Spiros told the spider as his conjured hand squeezed the spider queen's neck.
"You can only kill this spider body but not me", the Spider Queen replied to the prince before the prince broke her neck.
Suddenly, the spider queen's abdomen exploded as thousands of spiderlings came out.
Some of the spiderlings rushed to Spiros before they crawled into his body. Other spiderlings looked for the knights who came with Spiros. While stuck to the spider's web, the spiderlings easily crawled into them.
The spiderlings soon consumed the magic and flesh of the knights before spawning more of themselves. The knight's belly grew larger before they exploded, releasing more spiderlings into the battleground.
By this time, the walls of the Knight Templar academy were finally broken. The demon army charged into the academy.
The demon army found the academy empty except for the poisoned and wounded knights and students gathered in the central court, surrounded by Bloodhounds who failed to get inside the force field in the court to attack them.
Soon, the Bloodhounds were joined by thousands of demons and conjurers of the demon army.
"Break this damn shield and kill all these knights", Archdemon Zesgumath commanded his army as they assaulted the central court's shield.
However, the central court's shield was tough and almost impenetrable.
