THE ARROGANCE OF THE SKELETON KING
To their surprise, Kolgane met Darklord's punch with his own and both of them were stopped by the clash of their powerful strikes. Kolgane could take the Darklord's punch head on.
"You have changed a lot", Emily said to Kolgane as she walked towards him before putting her soft hand on his chest.
"My body is reinforced with the skeleton magic of all my ancestors. I am invincible now", Kolgane told them.
"You won't be so arrogant when you meet the Queen and the Archdemon", Darklord told Kolgane.
"Archdemon? I will eat that for breakfast if he dares to piss me off", Kolgane told them to their shock and surprise.
The Kolgane that they knew was cunning but weak. The Kolgane that they faced now was reckless and arrogant. He was more like the Bully now than the Skeleton King.
"Your attitude is like the Bully now. I like it", Emily said to Kolgane praising his new attitude.
"I guess the strong all act alike. I am strong now. I should act like the Bully", Kolgane replied to her.
"Will you want to have me tonight?" Emily asked Kolgane seductively.
"My body is harder than the strongest Mithrium now. I doubt you bitch can take it from me", Kolgane told Emily as he pushed her away.
"We are wasting time here, just get back to our camp", Darklord told them as he prepared to move.
But Kolgane merely stood there waiting.
"What in Hell are you waiting for?" Darklord asked Kolgane.
"I'm the Skeleton King now. I'll not leave without a procession or at least a ship driving me. Do you expect me to fly away with fools like you? That's so short of class," Kolgane told Darklord bluntly.
"That's enough. I'll kill you bloody skeleton. I'll kill you now", Darklord shouted to Kolgane as magical veins sprouted from the ground to strike Kolgane.
However, shockingly for the Darklord, the magic blood veins failed to dent Kolgane's tough body at all. Kolgane swiped the blood veins away with his hands and broke the magic veins.
"I told you I'm invincible now. I am the Invincible Skeleton King", Kolgane said to the Darklord and announced.
"I'll call a ship over to take us", Emily said to them finally after acknowledging Kolgane's strength.
Soon, an airship appeared and landed near them. They quickly boarded the ship to leave for the camp of the Demon army.

"That bastard is late, how dare he", Darklord screamed out loudly at the banquet.
"I heard Kolgane has experienced some attitude change after he returned from the Sacred Grove", Queen Emerald asked them.
"Yes, he's become more confident. He inherited the magic of his ancestors and became the Invincible Skeleton King", Emily replied to the queen with a smile
"Oh, really? He claims to be Invincible", Queen Emerald replied.
"He even dares to take a punch from me", Darklord complained to his daughter, the queen.
"And he is still alive after that?" Queen Emerald asked her father in surprise and shock.
"He took the punch without any stress. His body is now as tough as Mithrium according to him", Emily replied to the Queen.
"I will want to see if the fool really has body that is as tough as Mithrium", Archdemon Zesgumath said to them.
"You should try", Darklord replied to him as he clenched his fists angrily.
Suddenly, Kolgane appeared at the banquet of the queen.
"I apologize for being late, my queen", Kolgane greeted the queen of demons as he walked to her and kissed her cheek to her shock and surprise.
Even the Queen of Demons was lost for words by Kolgane's actions.
"You fool, I heard you bragged about being as tough as Mithrium. I will want to check for myself", Archdemon Zesgumath told Kolgane.
"You, three horned dares to touch me? Fine come here", Kolgane told the Archdemon pointing his fingers at the Archdemon.
The Archdemon became furious at Kolgane's attitude and charged into him with his powerful claws.
"Don't kill him yet. He is still useful", Queen Emerald warned the Archdemon, but Kolgane replied to her instead.
"There is nothing to worry my queen, I will only break his claws", Kolgane replied to the queen to her shock and surprise as the question wasn't directed to him.
"Argghhhhhh"
Suddenly, the Archdemon screamed as his claws were sliced and broken by a blade wielded by the Invincible Skeleton King, Kolgane.
"What happened?" Emily asked.
"Mithrium dagger", Kolgane replied to her as he waved his dagger.
Kolgane was holding a Mithrium dagger when he fought with the Archdemon.
"I'll kill you now", Archdemon Zesgumath shouted to Kolgane when suddenly his chest was struck by a Mithrium dagger.
Demons were vulnerable to Mithrium weapons, and their powerful body armor could be easily sliced or pierced like butter with the weapon.
"If I used a longsword, you will be dead already", Kolgane said to the Archdemon as he waved his dagger around the Archdemon's face.
Kolgane's dagger pierced into Zesgumath's chest although the blade wasn't long enough to pierce deeper. But a Mithrium longsword was a different matter, it could actually strike Zesgumath's heart and kill him.
"Stop it the two of you. We are on the same side", Queen Emerald told the two, persuading them to stop fighting.
Both the Darklord and the Spider Queen were shocked by the arrogance and strength of the newly awakened Skeleton King.
"He was the one who attacked me first", Kolgane replied to the Queen before he faced the demon and said, "and remember, your life is mine to take, anytime", before he pointed his thumbs downwards to the Archdemon.
"You", Archdemon Zesgumath replied to the Skeleton King angrily, but he did not continue the fight.
He must heed the advice of the Queen to stop fighting and there was also the fact that the Archdemon might lose to the Invincible Skeleton King in a real fight.
This Invincible Skeleton King wasn't to be trifled with and the Archdemon must swallow his pride in this instance.
