REUNITING WITH THE TEACHER OF A FORMER LIFE
I've learned that my Malevolent Slaves could use my abilities and that includes casting my conjurations. My Malevolent Slaves could cast one of my templar skills, a formation of military shield, to defend me.
"Where did you get so many shadow helpers? And they can cast powerful formation shields? Only the renowned militaries in the Ten-Kingdoms could summon these shields," Xene asked me.
The Terracotta warriors charged their spears with magic before thrusting their weapon at my formation shield. These attacks were powerful Saturn tiered magic and there were hundreds of them striking my shield.
"My shield won't last very long", I replied to her.
Although my Malevolent Slaves could use my abilities to cast the formation shield, they were also using my magic to cast them, and I have a limited amount of those. Soon, the Terracotta warriors would exhaust my magic and my formation force shield.
"What can we do now?" Xene asked me worriedly.
"Click"
Suddenly, a second dial was in place at the correct combination.
"There is one more turn. I hope I remember this correctly", I told her.
"Remember? You did this before?" Xene asked me in shock and surprise.
"Ask more and I'll cut your vocal cords", I replied to the girl threateningly.
"You really have become a bully", she said to me.
"Yes, and a Bully of the worse kind", I replied to her threatening her.
Soon, my Quiscent Formation Shield was gone.
As the Terracotta warriors rushed toward us, my Malevolent Slaves rose to fight them. But the warriors' sharp and powerful spears easily destroyed my Malevolent Slaves.
"Click"
Suddenly, the Terracotta door opened.
"Get in quickly", I told Xene as I pulled her hand before entering into the realm behind the Terracotta door.
To our surprise the Terracotta warriors did not follow us into the door.
"Why are the warriors not attacking us after we came inside?" Xene asked me.
"There is no need to. Those who come inside are not supposed to leave. The Terracotta warriors will not follow us inside. We became offerings to the emperor", I replied to her to her shock and surprise.
"What offering? And who's the emperor?" Xene asked me.
"I cannot tell you for sure. The emperor already left this place", I replied to her.
"There are so many treasures here", Ratatouille said to me greedily as he helped himself to the treasures in the room.
We walked through a corridor before reaching a room that was surrounded by treasures and offerings. This was a tomb, and all these treasures were burial offerings. We have also become a part of the offerings to this tomb.
There was a large sarcophagus in the middle of the room that was made from the clearest green emperor jade.
"Who is in that coffin?" Xene asked me.
"Nobody now I guess", I replied to her.
The last time that I came into this tomb, I rescued Emperor Tian from his eternal slumber in this realm. He wasn't in this tomb anymore.
"Wait, there is someone inside the coffin", Ratatouille told me to my surprise.
"What? That is not possible", I told him as I walked toward the coffin.
Suddenly, the sarcophagus opened, and someone rose from it to our shock and surprise.
"Who awakened me from my eternal slumber?" the man asked me.
To my greater shock was, I knew this man sleeping in the sarcophagus.
"Teacher, you are alive. How is that possible?" I asked the man in the coffin.
The man opened his eyes to look at me, but he found me unfamiliar, as he floated around me to scrutinize me.
"He couldn't recognize you?" Xene asked me.
"Your face has changed but your soul remains familiar to me. You are my disciple", Emperor Tian said to me finally.
"I have been reborn into this world", I replied to him.
"Yes, you passed through the Door of Rebirth but what happened to your soul, there is an entity possessing you", Emperor Tian said to me.
"That is a long story for later, why are you here back in your tomb?", I replied to him and asked.
"I realize now, this place is my eternal soul realm. When I obtained Immortality, it didn't give me an indestructible body or eternal life but created this place, my Shura Underworld. When I die, in the mortal world, I will return here to my realm, eternally, in a kind of twisted eternal life", Emperor Tian told me.
"What happened here? Did you die and come back here?" Xene asked the emperor in surprise.
"Yes, after the last battle in Kunlun, I exhausted the last of my magic. Then I was extinguished from the world, but my soul returns here to my tomb again", Emperor Tian told me.
Emperor Tian obtained Immortality not by being immortal but by being eternally imprisoned in his own tomb after his death. Tian's immortality was being imprisoned inside his own Shura Underworld after his death.
However, he could be alive again in the mortal world, if he leaves this underworld of his.
In my previous life, I came to this realm before and found the soul of Emperor Tian. He became my teacher, and he helped me form my soul magic that was mimicked after him, and I brought him out of this tomb.
"I brought you out of this realm before, I will do it again", I told Emperor Tian.
"How can you? You lost your soul realm to the entity inside of you and I couldn't go there anymore, the magic there will consume me", Emperor Tian told me.
In my previous life, Emperor Tian managed to leave this realm by hiding inside my soul realm. When I left the realm, he came with me.
"Is there no other way to leave here?" I asked him.
Emperor Tian thought about it for some time, to find a loophole that he could escape from his own eternal resting place again.
Emperor Tian was now a remnant soul and the only way he could leave this place was by hiding inside someone's soul and when that person leaves this place, they will bring his soul out with him.
