In the heart of Cerulean City, the grizzled and cranky Primeape, whose grumpy demeanour had only deepened with age, scowled at me with a series of frustrated grunts and agitated gestures.
Its eyes conveyed a tale of struggle, and in its incoherent expressions, I could see an unbearable frustration from him. It is easy to deduce for me, that the frustration has to do with his troubles with the Ghost-type movie, Rage Fist.
The old warrior, usually so fierce and unyielding, seemed to have hit a roadblock in mastering this particular technique. With each huff and gesture, Primeape insisted on starting our journey to Lavender Town immediately, unable to handle the slow progress.
Lavender Town has its iconic tower filled with ghost energy that is the best place to train rage fist.
Considering the old guy has the hope to live now, with a bonus chance of evolution. I could understand his thoughts.
I wanted to go there after Vermillion City Gym. Nonetheless, it is fine if we go there now.
I nodded, recognizing the urgency in its primitive yet expressive communication. "Ok, buddy! Let's head to Lavender Town."
I looked at the map and saw that we had to go through the rocky tunnel.
"Time to get moving."
------Rocky Tunnel-------
The rocky trail led to the tunnel's entrance, and as I ventured in, the air grew cooler, and the silence of the rocky expanse occasionally gave way to distant Pokemon calls.
The journey through the tunnel began, with winding paths leading deeper into the earth. The rocky walls closed in, leaving eerie shadows that danced as I walked.
Navigating the rocky tunnels, another trainer crossed my path, eager for a battle. The confined space of the tunnel needs a shift in strategies towards close combat.
Deciding to train Vigoroth's battle skills, I commanded, "Vigoroth! Quick Attack!"
The limited space added complexity to the rocky tunnel, making for a good experience for him.
Marowak, his opponent waved his bone club at the ready and stood firm against Vigoroth's enthusiastic advances.
The battle had the sounds bouncing off the tunnel walls like a rhythmic drum. Vigoroth's agility proved beneficial as it expertly dodged Marowak's bone attacks. However, the confined space limited its usual acrobatic manoeuvres.
Shouts of encouragement filled the air, "Marowak, don't let up! Bone Club!"
Marowak's bone club swung with precision, aiming for Vigoroth's vulnerabilities.
In response, I commanded, "Vigoroth, Endure and counter with Slash!"
The confined battleground allowed only close combat, making each decision crucial to be spontaneous for both the trainer and the Pokemon.
Seeing a chance, I shouted, "Vigoroth, use Focus punch now!"
------------------------------------
As I delved deeper into the second half of the rocky tunnel, the encounter with Ghost Pokemon added an eerie ambience to the surroundings. The ethereal Pokemon materialized like dead bodies or simply out of nowhere even while pissing on a rock.
Yep, just imagine pissing on a rock, then the rock changes into ghastly and moves to your face. Thankfully I had Vigoroth at my side, ready to fuck them up.
Anyways, each ghost encounter is challenging my resolve. Still, I pressed forward, having my Pokemon engage with the ghost Pokemon, to increase their experience in such types.
Days passed in this way until my luck turned.
After sending a haunter flying, an unexpected event unfolded, a rarity even in the Pokemon game "Let's Go Pikachu".
I saw a Charmander.
A fucking Charmander came into view, surrounded by Haunter and a few Ghastly. My excitement surged at the sight of my favourite starter Pokemon, and my blood boiled with determination. Swiftly, I deployed Electabuzz and Vigoroth, commanding them to fend off the bitches and protect the Charmander.
"Electabuzz, Vigoroth, protect that Charmander! Drive away those Ghastly and Haunter!" I ordered, determined to ensure the safety of my favourite starter Pokemon. Important things should be repeated as many times as possible.
"Electabuzz, use Thunder Punch on that Haunter!" I shouted, urging my Electric-type Pokemon into action. Electabuzz's fist crackled with electricity as it lunged at the Haunter, the electric attack making a powerful impact.
"Vigoroth, Endure against the Ghastly's Shadow Ball!" I directed, leveraging Vigoroth's move pool. The Normal-type Pokemon skillfully held the Ghost-type move and then used a series of thunder punches to send it flying. I offhandedly noted the rapid ease with which Vigoroth's movepool is rising.
The Ghost group disappeared not wanting to chew on a tough bone.
However, despite our efforts, the Charmander, startled and frightened, made a hasty retreat.
My determination soared, and without a moment's hesitation, I gave chase through the winding tunnels. Shouting after the fleeing Fire-type Pokemon, I declared, "Stop there, Charmander! I'm going to catch you!"
-----------------------------
CHARRRRRRR
The distressed cries of Charmander echoed through the tunnel as I pursued it relentlessly. Eventually, we emerged from the rocky confines into a forested area. Ignoring the change in surroundings, my sole focus remained on the fleeing Charmander. A plain? It didn't matter. I ran, determination fueling my pursuit. The Charmander darted through the swamp, and without hesitation, I leapt in, cutting a diagonal path to intercept it.
However, my single-minded pursuit led me into an unexpected situation. As I closed in on Charmander, my eyes widened as I realized we were surrounded by a group of Magnetons and a formidable Magnezone.
Caught between the Charmander's distress and the encircling electric Pokemon, I had to strategize quickly. "Electabuzz, Vigoroth, be on guard! We're surrounded," I muttered under my breath. The tension in the air crackled as I assessed the situation, pondering the best course of action to navigate this unexpected challenge.
I cursed in my mind because the Charmander was running away using the chance.
Glancing around, I noticed a distinct shadow in the distance – an abandoned power plant. My mind went blank remembering the place and who resides there. I let out a single and strong – "FUCK."

In life, certain events have the power to evoke a sense of profound introspection. For some, it's the weight of crippling debt; for others, it's the fall from blinding riches to the harsh reality of the streets. Many find themselves reflecting deeply in the face of death and danger. My moment of revelation, however, was not quite the same. It unfolded in the absence of imminent peril, yet its impact was no less transformative.
There I stood, scratching my head alongside Vigoroth, surrounded by Electabuzz, the imposing Magnezone, and its accompanying Magnetons that seemed to have developed a penchant for sipping electricity from my converter.
As if that wasn't enough, even the smaller, kid-sized Magnemite had joined in on the peculiar gathering.
The situation begged the question: How did I find myself in this peculiar gathering of Pokemon, and what did it mean for me? Let me tell you.
--------Temporal Move; flashback------
I cursed as Electabuzz was protecting me with Light screen while he and Virgoroth took the electrical attacks head-on. Electabuzz was storing the energy of the attack while Vigoroth using the Endure.
I saw that Electabuzz was soon reaching its limit, "Electabuzz Use Thunder in the group."
I Hoped the attack created some gap we could squeeze through. I cursed internally the one time my control over myself slipped, my Childish body landed me in this heap of trouble.
"Vigoroth, Focus energy."
"Electabuzz, brace yourself, you are the main force now. Once we leave here the first thing I am teaching you is Fire punch."
Electabuzz gave a confident nod, I sometimes wonder from where he gets such confidence. I should probably know since I raised him but it is a mystery to me.
I soon saw the Magnetons exchanging sparks of electricity, the ensuing spectacle had left the entire group emitting strange sounds, with my Electabuzz puffing up with evident pride.
I at least know enough that the group are speaking with Electabuzz, I sighed in relief at that. A civilized wild group.
An informal term used to represent the wild Pokemon who have established their form of community. The best example is the Tree of Beginning.
In a way, the group centred on Tree of Beginning can be considered a small country on its own. It led my mind to the Movie featured on a special Pokemon. I remembered my first and only childhood words. "One day for sure, I will get that Lucario."
I will try for it in this life but as for the Mew and Regi group, No thank you, sir.
Here I am thinking of running away from this place, considering that Zapdos resides in a power plant in the distance.
No way in hell, I will approach the big guy among Big guys. I got a laugh at that imagining Mew who sat on a pedestal among the Gigantic Legendaries.
I soon noticed Electabuzz pointing towards me as the conversation among the Pokemon swiftly shifted, their gazes ultimately converging on me.
Temporal Move: Present
As I observed Electabuzz displaying various ranges of charges in the converter, the Magnetons attentively watched, almost as if mentally noting down the intricacies. A thought crossed my mind – perhaps it would be better to let the converter go. No device is worth jeopardizing our safety.
To enhance my bond with the Magneton group, I decided to craft Pokeblocks tailored to their unique preferences. Drawing inspiration from my past encounters, I repurposed the Metal Coat initially intended for Scyther. With the assistance of AI.
Rotomdex got to show me the reports,
[ AI REPORTS
1 AI recommended adding finely powdered conductive metals to boost Pokeblock conductivity.
2. The inclusion of a recycled Metal Coat was advised for additional effectiveness.
3. AI suggested introducing a measured quantity of a conductive liquid for smooth spreading.
4. The conductive liquid would allow the Pokeblocks to transition into a fluid state when exposed to electricity.
5. Recommendations included considering flavour preferences of Electric-type Pokemon.
6. Sweetness levels were adjusted for optimal taste based on AI suggestions.
7. AI played a pivotal role in refining the Pokeblock composition for specific Magneton group needs.
8. Suggestions aimed at enhancing both the palatability and effectiveness of the Pokeblocks.]
As I was making the Pokeblocks, Electabuzz approached me, gesturing and expressing himself in a way that transcended language barriers. He roared like a dinosaur, signifying Charmander. Then, with an open-handed gesture meaning bigger, he indicated a Charizard group situated some distance away. Then he showed a punch towards Magneton– evidently, the Charizards are a rival gang to the Magnetons.
I furrowed my brow, puzzled, and questioned, "Then why did the magnetons protect the little guy?"
In response, Electabuzz showed a gesture akin to carrying a baby and then clenched his fist, surrounded by crackling electricity. The message became clear – despite any differences or conflicts with the Charizard group, the safety of their offspring remained a priority.
Continuing his expressive narrative, Electabuzz joined his hands together, followed by a series of punches from alternate fists. The message was deciphered – the tribes were in alliance, yet they maintained a competitive edge against each other. It was a delicate balance.
As I processed this information, I couldn't help but marvel at the complexity of Pokemon society. The dynamics of alliances and competitions among these groups mirrored the history of human interactions, though in a more primal and instinct-driven context. Like punch or fuck format.
I simply asked Electabuzz, "Why would the Charizard group agree to an alliance? Given their dominant nature, one would expect them to attempt to conquer the territory."
The answer unfolded as Electabuzz pointed towards the power plant and then Magnezone. It dawned on me – Zapdos. If you speak of Domineering nature, the Charizard species is still spoiled brats compared to it who chased away all other types of Pokemon and humans allowing Electric-type pokemon.
He then continued to gesture explaining to me.
"You mean the Magneton group negotiated with their leader to allow the Charizards to stay, exchanging metals dug by them in their caves for the evolution of Magnezone." Electabuzz expressed his agreement with a resounding clap.
Meanwhile, the observant Magnezone beeped something, and Electabuzz gestured towards me and the power plant as if inquiring if I wanted to meet their leader.
I vehemently shook my head. No. I would rather have my first legendary encounter with a peaceful legendary like Meloette.
Afterwards, we can see about the rest.
I instead proposed, "I would prefer to meet the rest of your friends, the group you've mentioned."
