For over a month after that, Margaret didn't encounter Mephisto again.
Her studies intensified, keeping her busy every day with no time for outings. Saint Sebastian, on the other hand, had plenty of free time—either searching for Kara's whereabouts at the academy or causing trouble at the bakery looking for Mephisto.
But as the break approached and the white magic theory class came to an end, Kara was elusive, and Saint Sebastian couldn't find her anywhere. As for the bakery, every time Saint Sebastian stormed in, he returned with a strong aroma of food, occasionally bringing freshly baked bread for Margaret. It was clearly Hanna's kindness.
