Others chuckled, covering their mouths, their expressions relaxed. Clearly, they had seen similar scenes many times and were unfazed.
Charlotte seemed lost in thought, forcing a smile and gazing ahead. Her almond-shaped eyes revealed obvious envy and timidity. She didn't have close female friends like this before, and probably not now either.
