Margaret leaned against Andy, her voice weary yet frivolous, like bubbles floating in the air. "Before this, Winchester, how did you get in? The door was locked, and there were magical barriers in place. But I didn't hear any alarms go off..."
She had indeed considered that Winchester might follow her.
After all, it was her brother's duty to correct her behavior and make her revert to being the restrained and gentle lady she was supposed to be.
But her proficiency in white magic was excellent, more than enough to handle a complex security system. Not to mention, this was the Portman family's estate, which had stringent security measures in place.
"Winchester is proficient in white magic?" Margaret sighed. "I had no idea. Your grades in magic classes used to be quite average when you were in school."
Not everyone had the aptitude for learning magic.
