Before setting out, the noble's daughter always meticulously groomed herself. Margaret's mother had emphasized countless times that if she were to show her face, she must be impeccably groomed, from the style of her hair accessories to the color coordination of her shoes, nothing could be amiss.
So, Margaret carefully selected her dress and shoes, and tied her hair into a relatively lightweight hairstyle. When Damon entered, he happened to see her holding several necklaces, seemingly unable to make up her mind.
"Oh, you're just in time," Margaret pulled him to the mirror, sounding conflicted, "Help me decide quickly, which necklace suits better?"
The girl's face was flushed with vitality, and all sorts of precious gemstone necklaces seemed pale in comparison.
Damon silently watched Margaret. The physical closeness perhaps didn't change their relationship, at least he couldn't see any nervousness or shyness in her eyes.
