Chapter 84 - Left and Right Hand.

Once Roygun and Venelana finally moved in with him, Romonus was over the moon. With them moving in, most of his lovers finally lived with him. Only Serafall was still living away from him because she was still the standing Leviathan.

She was Satan in charge of Foreign Affairs, and because Romonus was as powerful as he was, her job had become increasingly stressful over the last year. Romonus was the one who pulled several factions together into an alliance not seen in millennia.

His strength was not well understood, but it was clear that he was an even greater threat than Sirzechs or Ajuka. His brother and uncle were mighty Super Devils, but even they were not as powerful as he was.

Not counting the Dragon Gods, only Shiva, Brahma, Vishnu, and maybe Indra could match him in combat. It was also nearly impossible to kill him since his soul and body were effectively immortal. He had no weakness to exploit, so the Pantheons the world over had been in a bid to get on his good side.

They had been pestering Serafall to let their envoys meet with him, but she had refused all these offers. For one, Romonus had no interest in becoming a ruler as his goal still remained to be the strongest.

That goal was not because he wanted to rule existence or something foolish of that sort. No, he had this goal so that he could achieve any goal or whim he set out for himself. That and to repay the debt he owed to his friend, Rhvadall.

Serafall also didn't want to bother Romonus but she would no longer have to do it. Romonus would be taking his place as Lord Bael, but he had to talk with his grandfather, Demaenetus before they set things up. As such, he spent the rest of the day with his harem, which had not grown much in the past eight years.

Walburga was not in his harem technically, as she was incapable of love. Instead, she and Romonus shared a master-servant relationship, which she was okay with. Itsuki had been getting closer to him, and when she turned 15, they got together.

Kuroka had been a recent addition since Shirone had pulled her 'little' sister along for the ride. This means that the whole time, he only gained two more lovers and a sex friend. Once his Mother and Roygun settled down, they pulled him and his lovers into his bed.

Even Walburga had been dragged along, meaning only Serafall had missed out on the fun. Romonus promised to make it up to her since she was quite bitter about being left out.

As for Romonus' sex life, it was wild since Valerie had made sure to make all of his lovers nearly unkillable like him. They had nearly endless stamina, so when they were in bed, they treated him like a raid boss who needed to go down.

He didn't have a second to relax, and they used everything they had to tire him out. A few times he felt that they might succeed, but even with their modifications, they didn't have his Demonic endurance

---

Everyone gathered at the breakfast table in the morning, with Romonus sitting at the head. This included Walburga, Tobio, Kouki, Natsume, Bikou, Connla, Arthur, Le Fey, Azi, Kharn, and Grimaldus. Romonus' Shadows were in the kitchen firing up a mighty feast for everyone.

Once everyone was seated, Romonus spoke up.

"I have news to share. Today, I shall be taking my title as Lord Bael, meaning I will have the authority to command the Legions of house Bael. At its peak, House Bael controlled 250 Legions of Devils, but the long Great War and Devil Civil War reduced those numbers to 100.

Each Legion has 10,000 Devils, meaning that house Bael controls 1 million Devil soldiers. Out of all the Devil Clans, House Bael was and is the most powerful in troop numbers since even Agares, at its peak, only controlled 31 Legions.

With those numbers, I can expand my influence to the Greater Underworld as I train a new force of soldiers. When I lead my attack against the Vatican and the domain of Hades, I expect a great deal of resistance, but numbers will ease that up."

When he finished speaking, he got a bunch of congratulations. Venelana, sitting close to him, reached out and held his hand.

"I am so proud of you, Romonus. Why don't you just become Lord Gremory since no one can stop you."

Rias shook her head.

"Mom, it's headache-inducing to rule over just one Devil Clan. Don't increase his workload more than needed."

Roygun had to agree with Rias.

"She is right, Ven; just being Lord of House Belphegor was annoying, and you want him to rule two."

Venalana just squeezed Romonus' hand tighter.

"My son deserves the best; the more know of his authority, the better."

He returned the hold, but he did agree with Rias and Roygun.

"Sadly, I don't think I will be doing that. Bikou would gain a status similar to that of a Clan Lord, as the Monkey King, but he ran away."

Everyone turned to Bikou, who shrugged.

"What can I say? The ruling is for old fucks, and I am not old. I want to have fun, fight who I want, sleep when I want, and do all the pranks I want."

Speaking of pranks, ever since Bikou had moved in, he had been the biggest prankster. Currently, Shin had a bone to pick with him. Tobio turned to Bikou with a glare.

"So you were the one who switched out Shin's shampoo with honey."

Sitting in his oversized chair, Shin started to snarl as he looked at Bikou. Shin didn't like his fur being messed with, and the honey it got switched with was Kharn's. Speaking of Kharn, he sat next to Romonus on the table and started to growl at Bikou.

Every morning, he liked to count the containers of Bael Purple, his treasured honey. However, a sizable chunk had gone missing, and he had tracked it down to Bikou. Seeing the growling Badger, Bikou started to sweat, and while he had received modifications from Valerie, he still felt pain.

Kharn had brutalized him in ways even Romonus didn't think possible. Romonus grabbed Kharn in his arms and began to pet the small demonic badger to calm him.

"You should know better than to mess with the King's honey. You are lucky that he didn't eat you."

Bikou frowned.

"He did. He ate my head; I had to regenerate a new one."

When Bikou looked at Kharn, he saw the Badger flash him a bloodthirsty grin. He shivered and looked away, which made everyone at the table laugh. They had heard the screams, and when they rushed to his location, Bikou was already headless.

Silvana found that especially funny.

"I was honestly expecting you to remain that way."

Romonus placed Kharn on his shoulder as he gave a warning.

"Be more careful in the future since Kharn can kill you. As he is my familiar, he can draw on my power, and I can get past our immortality. Keep that in mind."

Bikou shivered as he held his head as he was close to death.

'I got never to touch that mad Badger's stuff again.'

Regardless, they brought out the giant feast for all involved once the Shadows finished cooking. Azi Dahaka, Kharn, Grimaldus, Shin, Griffin, Byakusa, and Mephiston served incredible feasts.

It was sometimes confusing since Natsume named her Sacred Gear Griffin while a real griffin lived in the house. As such, they always referred to Mephiston by his name to avoid confusion. While everyone ate, they continued to have their usual conversations.

Silvana mentioned how she had been creating more Undead for the upcoming assaults. Even Vespera had created Thralls to have more disposable troops, while Latia's Automaton Forces were in construction deep underground.

Most surprising was that she had been constructing a Demonic Warlord Titan because creating an Emperor class would take too long. Hearing that, Romonus was sure that when he moved out in his assaults, the world over would be in shock. Heaven would respond since he would be invading the Vatican, but he had plans, and nothing would change his path.

Once everyone had finished eating and his Shadows had finished cleaning, he prepared to return to the Bael Mansion.

"I am off to speak with my grandfather. Anyone want to go?"

Before anyone could say anything, Natsume jumped on the chance.

"Can I go?"

With knowing smiles, his lovers let her take this one, making Romonus smile himself.

"Come on then."

With a happy smile, Natsume walked over to him and held his arm as he teleported them to Bael Castle. He also took Kharn, Grimaldus, and Azi Dahaka with him before teleporting to Bael Castle.

He did so directly outside his grandfather's office since he wanted to get this over with. He looked down at Natsume and patted her head.

"How do I look?"

She looked him up and down as he always dressed in an expensive suit he had tailored a year ago. She patted down his black trench coat and fixed his tie a little.

"You look great. I am the one who should be worried about how I look."

Romonus flicked her on the nose since she was wearing the Bloodborne uniform.

"You look great, and if you say you look bad, it means everyone who wears that suit looks bad."

Natsume rubbed her nose, but just as she was going to speak, Demaenetus yelled at them.

"JUST COME INSIDE!"

Romonus chuckled as he opened the office doors. Inside, his grandfather was sitting at his desk.

"Glad you are here; just bring your cousin here."

Romonus snapped his fingers, and Sairaorg instantly appeared next to him. Sairaorg was dressed in his gym attire as he had been working out hard. He even had a pair of weights as he worked on his arms.

"What the-"

Romonus patted him on the shoulder to snap him to attention.

"Glad to see you again, Sairaorg; we needed you present to plan this out."

Sairaorg turned his head and saw Demaenetus, Romonus, Natsume, and the familiars. Sairaorg put down his weights and got serious.

"What did you need to speak to me about?"

Demaenetus first walked over to the selections of drinks he had on hand since he was a consumer of fancy spirits. He turned to Natsume, whom he had seen before when Romonus came to kill Zekram.

He still had no idea what had happened since Romonus ordered Zekram to act normal.

"Do you want a drink, girl?"

Natsume turned to Romonus before nodding.

"I will take one."

Demaenetus smiled as he poured out four drinks of glowing whiskey.

"Careful, this stuff is strong. Magdaran made it from that new Immortality Tree."

Once everyone had their glass and took a drink, Natsume instantly loved it. However, while the taste was incredible, it was much stronger than any mortal drink. Since her regeneration had increased, she didn't pass out.

Demaenetus was quite impressed and had already viewed her in a better light.

"You can hold your drink; I like that. Romonus, don't fumble the bag with this girl."

Romonus smirked as he patted Natsume's head.

"I won't. Though, you should talk to Sairaorg, who is still a virgin."

Sairaorg frowned.

"No, I am not."

Demaenetus raised an eyebrow.

"You and that Kuisha girl?"

Sairaorg nodded.

"Yes."

Demaenetus smiled.

"I was worried you were broken. Now, boy, I called you here because your cousin will soon take his place as Lord Bael. The coronation ceremony will be in a few days as I get everything set up, but that comes with issues.

A Lord must be good at politics and able to do all the paperwork that comes with the title. The issue is that your Cousin can't just spend vast amounts of time in the office. Right?"

Romonus nodded.

"I can do it, and I would be willing to do it, but I will be honest; I will be the center of our armed forces. I will be taking control of the Legions of House Bael and training them into a stronger fighting force than before.

It is not well known, but I will start a war. That is why I have gathered so many allies."

Demaenetus could tell since Romonus was obsessed with getting stronger. Sairaorg was worried since starting a war and fighting one were different.

"With whom and why?"

"To start with Heaven because they will not like my plan. I have found a way to ascend to godhood, but I need the Holy Relics to do it. The True Longinus, Incinerate Anthem, Alphecca Tyrant, and The Shroud of Turin.

One of those is kept in The Vatican, and they won't just give it to me, so I am planning an assault on it. My harem and my team are also planning to kill the original descendants of the Satans so I can have the entire bloodline of them in my ascension.

I can see the future. It's not as good as Shiva's, but we probably both can see what I can see. We have two major threats: The Beast of the Apocalypse, which God sealed away, weakening him.

This beast is as strong as Great Red; if they clash, our world will be destroyed. Great Red also keeps the Dimensional Gap sealed to protect us from creatures beyond the Gap known of the Evie Atolde.

Two warring factions of god-like creatures that, if they find us, even Great Red won't be able to stop them. I will start a war to prevent the destruction of our world, and for that, I can't be held back by the politics of being a Lord.

I trust you and Magdaran will help me with this. I trust you two with my life, and while I lead our forces, you can help me get back here. Will you do it?"

Sairaorg looked at his grandfather and Romonus before thinking about it. Azi flew up and landed on his shoulder before speaking to him.

"You may not trust the words of an Evil Dragon, but you seem to trust my boss a great deal. So, would he lie to you?"

Sairaorg smiled.

"No, he wouldn't. You want Magdaran and me to hold the fort while you control our military forces, right? Consider it done. We can do that much, but when will you start this?"

Romonus thought about it.

"Originally, it was in a few days, but I realized it was hasty. I will inform my allies to get them up to speed on why I risk starting a second Great War. I hate saying it, but it is for the Greater Good.

I feel sick just saying it, but it will be worth it once I do this. I will get Azazel, Arjac, The Corpse Ghost Sect Patriarch, and my other allies ready for what I will start. First, we will start with the descendants of the Satans.

Once they are dead, and I have their corpses, we can continue to my other targets, Lilith's Corpse and the treasures the Vatican holds. No complaints?"

Demaenetus shook his head.

"I am old and hate being Lord, but I am sure ready for a war. If you are starting it, you got me on board. Most of the oldies of the Clan have been itching for war, and you giving it to them will be just what they want. I am sure my parents are going to be itching for that."

Romonus chuckled.

"Ah yes, your Father is also your Uncle, and your Mother is also your Aunt."

Demaenetus sighed.

"Yes. They will be up for it, so wait for your coronation ceremony. Once I step down, I will advise you, but you will make the calls."

Romonus nodded.

"Right. Sairaorg, you will be my right hand, and Magdaran will be my left. I am counting on you two."

With a grin, Sairaorg extended his fist.

"You can count on us."

A fist bump later, and it was decided. Demaenetus would prepare things since it would be a big event as Lord Bael was effectively King. They had more power than the Satans, and combined with Romonus' political allies and his strength, he would have an iron grip over the Devil Underworld.

In the History books, the Wars he would start would be named The Battles of Ascension.
