Romonus sat himself down and placed The True Longinus on his lap. He and Archaon began to fight and suppress the Will inside the spear with trouble God had once been one of the most powerful beings in this world with only The Dragon Gods, Trihexa, Shiva, Brahma, Vishnu, and Indra being stronger than him.
Or maybe the theory that he had been a Dragon God-level being was correct. God was never talked about in depth so he didn't know. It might not be true since Ddraig and Albion stole the Principles of Domination and Supremacy.
'Even a Will like this is powerful, as even Apophis could not move against it. However, I am not Apophis.'
While he and Archaon worked Grayfia and Grimaldus took to the sky to stop the Cultivators. Already she could see 5 gates of different colors. Each Sect had different techniques so even their portals looked different.
As she looked across the sky she saw a Golden, Purple, Red, Blue, and Green Portal for 5 sects. She wondered why more didn't show up, but she was glad.
"I will ask this once. Will you be fine on your own?"
She turned to Grimaldus who seemed to scoff at the insult. After being in a contract with Romonus for almost a year, just like Kharn he too had been changed by the contract. A massive Demonic Aura in the Satan Class surged from his body.
Even surprising her she could see how his small body began to grow larger. When he stopped growing he was the size of a large rhino and his entire body seemed to be distorting. Weapons surged out from it causing him to look more like a living tank than an animal.
"I have my answer."
Each of the 5 portals in the sky opened up and several Cultivators moved out. Romonus would know more about them because he had studied the Supernatural Communities of several Pantheons.
She had not, but she knew a few.
'Golden Portal For Divine Sword Sect, Red for The Asura Rage Sect, Purple for Twilight Corpse Sect I think.'
She didn't know what the Blue or Green were, but they could not be good. From what she could see each Sect had sent about 20 Cultivators with different Realms. The ones in charge radiated auras in the Ultimate Class at different points in it.
'So weak? This will be simple if this is all they send.'
When the 100 Cultivators emerged they all first locked onto each other. The 5 leading Cultivators all looked quite different. The Elder from the Divine Sword Sect was dressed in his sect's black and red robes with what seemed to be a Dao blade at his side.
He was an older man with white hair a long traditional beard and a mustache.
"It appears we all sensed it."
Before he could communicate with his rivals, Grimaldus fired a massive Cannon from his chest. The Cultivator reached for his side and pulled out his Dao Sword.
"DIVINE SEVERING BLADE!"
With a swing backed by his Sword Dao, he swung against the Green spiraling laser. When his golden sword slashed and the Doomsday Canon hit he almost panicked. He felt appalled as he could sense his Qi being destroyed by the power in the attack.
Ajuka, one of the smartest and greatest inventors of the Supernatural World had placed some truly terrifying weapons In Grimaldus. This was a replica of a Necron Doomsday Cannon and its terrifying power was revealed.
Grimaldus' face pulled back into a snarl of joy as the cannon from his chest began to turn from bright Green to Dark Purple as he drew on Romonus' Energy. This caused the Canon to double in size which caused what was a powerful Divine Path Elder to not only lose his sword, but his right arm.
He survived only because he released the struggle and dodged out of the way losing his arm.
"AHHHHHHH!"
"ELDER GONG!"
The Cultivators from the Divine Sword Sect moved to his aid when the Doomsday Canon fired by Grimaldus settled down. Every Cultivator was not looking at Grimaldus who seemed to be panting.
It did not stop his grin and now Grayfia was also looking at her ally.
'What a powerful creature.'
The unlucky Elder who lost not just his sword arm, but his treasured Sword was enraged.
"YOU WRETCHED MACHINE! I WILL DESTROY YOU!"
Grimaldus pulled back his Doomsday Canon as despite being low on energy now, it was recovering quickly enough. Grayfia flew forward with magic as she was trying to conceal her identity as a Devil.
When the Cultivators looked Grayfia the males began to whistle and catcall. The leading Elder from the Asura Rage Sect moved a hand through his long braided beard.
"What a beautiful maiden. Join me as my Concubine and I may consider sparing your life."
Grayfia squinted her eyes and spat at the offer.
"I am not a Maiden and I have a son."
That seemed to just excite him more.
"Is that your husband down there? He can watch as I take that delicious body of yours."
He looked past Grimaldus and Grayfia to look at Romonus who was sitting down on Cao Cao's House. When he saw what Romonus was doing he frowned.
"Ah, it wasn't just any treasure, but a Longinus."
Romonus gazed up at the Cultivator dressed in white robes.
"If you came from a Red Portal and you call yourself the Asura Rage Sect why not red robes."
The Elder laughed.
"We wear white robes to dye them red in the blood of our enemies. Though as you may see from my white robes no foe has been strong enough to even foul my robes."
Romonus didn't believe it.
"I bet you just wash your clothes to make it seem you are stronger than you are. White Robes look ass."
Veins began to pulse on his face as he heard a feminine chuckle. He turned next to him to a black-haired Elder from the Divine Orchard Sect. They were the best Spiritual Herb Cultivators and Pill makers among the sects.
"The Demon has a point Zhelang, I swear that a few years ago your robes got splashed red. I could swear you cleansed the blood."
Now the Cultivators from his sect began to look at him oddly as all of them took pride in the tradition of blood dye. Hearing one of their Elders clean his robes might as well have been spitting on their Fathers' graves.
"SILENCE HANYING YOU INSOLENT WENCH!"
By this point, Romonus was rolling his eyes.
"Can one of you explain to me why Cultivators are all so damn retarded. You get mad for the simplest of things and when someone better than you shows up you say and I quote 'COURTING DEATH!' And I mean that literally."
No Cultivator spoke up to answer him, but they all did seem very angry at the insult. However, what he did not expect was the Cultivator from the Twilight Corpse Sect who was dressed in dark purple robes noticed something.
"Ah, a fellow Necromancer I see. Demon, I hold no animosity to you. Continue your work."
Romonus nodded.
"I thank you for choosing to live."
The hooded Elder laughed before he turned around.
"Le's be gone. They will all die."
"Yes, Elder."
Just like that one of the sects left without fighting. The Twilight Corpse Sect was powerful, but their expertise was in Corpse Puppets and Undead. Fighting someone like Romonus who had in his hands The True Longinus was not in his best interest.
His Sect worked best after Battles where they would collect the dead to turn into Corpse Puppets. Though, since he could feel the aura all Necromancers had he did not expect for anything to remain.
When he was gone, another Sect also decided the leave. The Divine Orchard Sect Elder could see no benefit to sticking around so she ordered a retreat as well.
"My sect shall stay out of this. I think you should all do the same."
With her words, the Cultivators from her sect left through their portal. This just left three sects The Divine Sword Sect which had its strongest Elder lose an arm and his prized sword. The Asura Rage Sect with their arrogant Elder and the final thus far silent Sect from the Blue Portal.
When Romonus looked at them he knew them.
"The Azure Dragon Sect, what will you do now?"
The lead Cultivator had bright blue eyes with slit dragon eyes. Romomus saw how he was in deep thought before his greed took over.
"I will remain, hand over the Longinus Demon if you know what is good for you. My Father is the Patriarch of the Azure Dragon Sect. If you do not want to make him an enemy hand over the spear."
Romonus chuckled as these Cultivators were just as stupid as he remembered. Also, their hesitation to move in to fight him was the wrong move. He was nowhere near done transforming the True Longinus into a Demonic Holy Spear, but he had managed to force his energy to begin to flow through the spear.
"Aifyarg, if you will."
Grayfia looked at him weirdly before communicating with him telepathically.
'Really, my name backward?'
'Cultivators don't have many brain cells. It is fine.'
'Whatever you say Sunomor.'
'That sounds weird.'
Grayfia shook her head as she flew higher in the sky.
"To answer your question that isn't my husband. He is my younger brother."
That seemed to make Zhelang the Elder from the Asura Rage Sect look at Romonus. He was 15 feet tall, covered in armor surging with purple Demonic Mana. He could not see what he looked like under the armor, but he did not think he wanted to.
"In that case, it seems the men must talk. Demon, whoever you are, hand your sister, the Longinus, your armor, and your Blood Essence to me and I just might let you live."
Grayfia wanted to facepalm at the stupidity of these Cultivators. Romonus was right that they had no brain cells.
"Thank you for setting up a barrier already, I am sick of talking."
She aimed her hand upward and a titanic glacier of Demonic Ice surged toward the Elder that had done nothing, but talk down to her this whole time. Seeing the attack Zhelang grinned and pulled his fist back.
"Asura Force Strike."
Romonus wanted to shake his head as this was why he hesitated naming his attacks. The only one he had named was The End because it was quick and to the point. Having to say these complicated names was just weird.
Regardless, behind this Elder, a giant 4-armed Asura punched out alongside him. When his technique and Grayfia's attack struck each other Grayfia's glacier was halted in its path.
Zhelang grinned at the power of his sect Cultivation Technique, but Grayfia had held back in that attack. She was probing his power so she raised her hands as she was starting to transform the area into a Winter Wasteland Land.
'It's been a long time since me and Serafall fought. We both use Ice Magic, but she went the extra mile and defeated me at my Clan Specialty. I will now show my new strength.'
Her Demonic Energy was surging like an ocean and her currently illusioned blue eyes glowed like blue suns. The 3 Sects all prepared for battle, but currently, only the Asura Rage Sect and the Azure Dragon Cultivators were in a good state.
Grimaldus had taken out the main sword arm of the Divine Sword Sect and they were still trying to heal. The wounded Elder turned to his men and aimed them forward.
"Go, attack."
"YES!"
Grayfia looked from left to right as most of these Cultivators were just numbers. Only the Elders and their direct Disciples mattered at all. Before she killed them Romonus communicated with her.
"Try to not destroy them, I want their Spatial Rings intact."
"Got it."
Romonus put all his attention on the True Longinus as Grayfia and Grimaldus could hold them off. Maybe even win since Grayfia was considered the Strongest Queen in the Underworld for a reason.
He placed both hands on the spear as he could feel the overwhelming Holy Magic coursing through the spear still fighting him. However, he had managed to forge a rudimentary link to the spear.
'You are dead Yahweh. You died in the Great War, this Will you left behind is just that. A fragment of yourself. With that information, SUBMIT!'
He felt the still powerful will of God try to break his link to the spear.
'I shall never allow a foul Demon to hold dominion over The True Longinus.'
A sea of Holy Energy surged into his soul, but this exceeded what any Angel could use. This was the dying Will of God and he was attempting to destroy Romonus' soul.
'Foolish, my soul is as enduring as Adamantium.'
Romonus' Cambion Soul began to not just resist the Power Surging into it, he used that to reinforce his link to the spear. Archaon reached out into the spear and began to pressure the Will alongside Romonus.
Romonus' using this powerful Holy Magic coming from The Will of God absorbed it into his body and soul. He could feel it as it reacted with his artificial affinity for Light Magic and strengthened it.
With this stronger affinity, Romonus managed to complete a partial binding of the True Longinous. This had the effect of suppressing the Will of God as now Romonus' had tainted the Holy Spear into a Demonic Holy Spear.
This not only corrupted the spear but even the Will of God inside it. With a grin, Romonus stood up as he knew that the Spear would fight him for control. However, he was stubborn and in time he would fully corrupt the Will inside it.
'You shall serve me in my plans Yahweh, until the time comes for you to meet your end.'
The Will did not speak as it effectively passed out from the Demonic Corruption surging into the Spear. In Heaven, the Heaven System was glitching out because a Longinus had been ripped from it.
Not just any Longinus, but one of the most important. Michael was panicking as he fought to manage the glitches in the system. Hard to do so because he barely understood some of its functions. He just barely managed to keep things as they were and the glitches that kept popping up since his Father's death were not easy.
When things settled down he checked on what had happened. He didn't know, but a powerful Longinus was taken from its current user.
'This can't be good.'
It was not because Romonus getting his hand on the True Longinus meant that he now held one of the darkest creations that had fallen on the world. A Spear that had been sanctified by the blood of Christ cursed by the hand of a Demon.
Poetic in a dark way and now he was going to test it out on some stupid Cultivators. When Romonus looked up at the sky, he saw Grayfia and Grimaldus were doing well.
Grimaldus was slaughtering the weaker Cultivators while making sure to take their souls. Those would be used to fill the ranks of Romonus' Shadows. He also took any Spatial Ring they had which Romonus wanted.
"Alright then, time to test out your worth True Longinus."
He flew into the sky with the spear in his left hand and Ruin Maker in his right.
