Chapter 33 - A Scheme of Madness.

When Venelana reached Sirzechs' side he simply sighed and hugged her. Venelana smiled happily and returned the hug.

"Are you mad at me, son?"

Sirzechs pulled away and shook his head.

"No, I am sure you had your reasons. I just wanted to ask you if you need help. Are the Bael's forcing you to do stuff against your will? If they are, I don't care what I need to do, I will be there for you Mother."

Venelana shook her head.

"Force me? They sure can try but don't worry. My Father, Mother, and grandparents are on my side. I will also have Romonus by my side."

Sirzechs looked up and saw how Romonus was with Serafall, Latia, and Roygun. He smiled as his younger brother was a source of pride for him. If he had more time he would have trained him personally, but he knew Romonus was in good hands.

Souji, Surtr, and MacGregor only had good things to say about him. He picked up whatever they taught him quickly. Seeing the look Sirzechs sent Romonus' she did hope he would take the news in a few years well.

'Lucifer knows he will need to when the news breaks.'

Sirzechs held his hand out for Grayfia who took his arm.

"I better be off, I have work to do and the computer only reduces the workload."

Grayfia nodded.

"That is true, instead of taking 16 hours on something you only need 8. Maybe you should get an assistant."

Sirzechs was going to be looking as he was sick of spending so much time as Lucifer. He wanted Romonus to take his title, but little did he know Romonus had no intention of being an office worker.

With a flash of light Sirzechs and Grayfia left the meeting. Ajuka glanced over at his niece for a bit before he too left. Falbium was long since gone leaving Serafall the only Satan to remain.

Venelana walked over to Romonus' side specifically over to Latia.

"Latia darling, you look dashing in that. Did my son get you into the style?"

Latia smiled that the Mother of her fiance liked her.

"He suggested it and I felt it was a good fit. It covers up quite well as well, but I think you look great too."

Venelana smiled as this was why they had chosen Latia for their son.

"You're a sweetheart and you're right about this suit. I went from looking like a pretty face to someone people took seriously."

Romonus chuckled at his Mother's words.

"Mom, who wouldn't take you seriously? If you had been more interested in status you would have been a perfect ruler of House Bael."

She giggled and waved him off.

"I will leave the ruling to you. This reminds me except for Miria, your lovers are all here. Oh, my mistake didn't see you there Roygun."

She said the last part with sarcasm which made Roygun smile.

"Lady Venelana, can I just call you Venelana? You know, your son was very interested in exchanging numbers with me. I felt I should greet you now, Mother-In-Law."

Venelana glanced at her son before pointing at Roygun.

"Her? Out of everyone you choose her? I think I heard rumors of her being a pedophile so maybe you can disregard her? Perhaps we team up now and send her to prison for crimes against young boys?"

Tick marks appeared on Roygun's face.

"I am a virgin thank you very much and what is wrong with liking young-looking men? Nothing thank you and I have never touched any young boys?"

Latia challenged her on that.

"What about Romonus? He is young."

Roygun with both hands motioned to Romonus.

"This? Is not a boy, this is a man. It doesn't count."

Latia shrugged.

"Whatever you say."

Venelana also had something to say.

"He is still 11 though?"

'I am one to talk.'

She glanced at Romonus who glanced back at her with a teasing glint in his eye. Roygun didn't notice this, but she brought up another point.

"You didn't say anything about Miria or Serafall and they are old. Miria is near your age while I am just 225. I am a young woman when compared to this oldie."

She said that while pointing at Serafall whose face went red with rage.

"WHO ARE YOU CALLING OLD!"

Romonus reached out and patted Serafall on the shoulder.

"Old? Serafall is the most youthful girl I know. Don't take her words to heart babe."

Serafall leaned up on him and grinned as she looked up at Roygun.

"Hear that? I have a boyfriend who appreciates me."

Roygun chuckled as she brought out her phone.

"Here, I got things to do, but I think we will get along."

Romonus brought out his own and with a quick exchange, they got each other's numbers. Roygun smiled in his direction as she prepared to leave.

"Let's get to know each other Romonus, I can't wait to see you in the Rating Game."

Romonus nodded.

"Good luck."

Romonus planned to take her King Piece for himself. It was a crutch that was limiting her as it was the only reason she was strong. However, if someone like him or Sirzechs used it things would get very different.

If he and Roygun became a thing she of course would become stronger without the Piece. Without it, she could grow while to him he only wanted a Life-Saving treasure.

'It would be a good trump card to have when faced with a Life or Death situation.'

Once he had his armor he would be much more confident, but even then 10 to 100 times more power was hard to pass up. And it did not come from God so it was all the better. Roygun teleported away leaving Serafall, Latia, and Venelana.

Venelana decided to leave as well.

"I will be stopping by the Gremory Mansion to break the news myself to Rias. I just wanted to tell you to be careful as the Gremory and Bael Clans are as different as the Day and Night. You will need to be powerful, proud, and enduring. So, keep being yourself."

"I will."

Venelana teleported in a flash leaving just Serafall and Latia. Kharn was here as well, but he was just happy to hiss at anyone from his shoulder. Romonus turned to Serafall who he knew had work to do.

"Keep in touch alright."

He had to bend down a bit as he gave her a quick kiss. She returned the kiss before giving him a wink.

"Of course, we got a date in 2 days so don't forget."

"I haven't."

Once Serafall was gone he turned back to Latia.

"So, ready to go back to Kruger?"

She smiled as she took his arm.

"Yes."

---

The next few days were very hectic for Romonus' entire family as Rias out of nowhere was declared the next head of the clan. Venelana explained to her that Romonus was being promoted to be the heir of the Bael Clan.

This was going to be the best for the Devil Race with Sirzechs as Lucifer and Romonus as Lord Bael would create the most change. At first, Rias was not happy, but when Romonus himself explained it she calmed down and accepted it.

Of course, Romonus also continued to mentor Itsuki and Akeno who were making great progress. Akeno now that she had him to push her unlike Rias who let her wallow in depression was improving rapidly.

She was making good use of the Bishop Piece, but he was not allowing her to neglect her body. Fallen Angels were blessed with powerful bodies and she needed to use hers. His plan for her was to become able to use Fallen and Devil powers perfectly together.

He was still waiting until she got more control over her Holy Lightning before he started his resistance training. As for Itsuki, she was quite talented at Magic and was making good use of the Boosted Gear.

Ddraig woke up quite quickly because of the 4 powerful Pawn Pieces and her using his power. The Boosted Gear was going to be important for Romonus' armor which he was planning day by day.

His Father was still going to grant him the materials he promised, so that was still board. As for Itsuki's use of the Pawn Piece, he wanted her to master the Queen, Knight, Bishop, and Rook.

Besides training his two Peerage members, he also he went on the date he promised Serafall at the Tokyo anime center. There she bought a bunch of Magical Girl Milky Spiral 7. As for Romonus, he ended up buying a few mechas for Latia and for him to build together.

They might even build one in real life together, but he of course did not forget Miria. Even though their date was on Wednesday he took time to visit her as she decided to quit being a guard. Serafall didn't mind it as she didn't even need to work.

She was just paying Serafall back for saving her life from Tsufaame Leviathan. As for Roygun, they texted a bit back and forth getting to know each other, but it was all still new. Romonus always preferred to get to know them personally as they were not just characters in a Novel anymore.

This was his life and Romonus was still living his best while causing as much Chaos as he promised. Even more than his boss expected which was progressing the god's plans closer and closer.

---

Rhavdall was currently seated at his desk as he twitched from time to time. All of the changes Romonus had made to the Fate of the World so wide-reaching that he was having a feast. His body was surging with pure chaos energy caused by so many changes to Fate.

All part of his plan as he was powerful, but his position in the company he was at was low. He was new here and unlike other gods, he had only 1 reincarnator in Romonus. Reincarnating someone and granting them wishes was costly and could severe losses. Some gods had lost all their reincarnations and it cost them everything.

That was why Rhavdall had chosen Romonus. He had more than made up the energy he used to reincarnate him 5 times over. Breaking the Fate of a world was dangerous for a god, but not for a mortal.

When Rhavdall opened his eyes they were glowing brighter gold than ever. He had enough energy to pick another reincarnator for another world. However, he had no such intentions as he was an All or Nothing kind of god.

He promised to give Romonus a gift which was against the rules, but he did not care. He was sick of being just 'ONE' of many gods of Insanity. Even at this company, there were over 100 from different worlds and realms.

Picking Romonus specifically was part of his long-thought-out plan to consume all of them and to do so he needed more power. He needed to be stronger, but to do that he needed Romonus to be stronger as well. Part of this energy would grow his own, but another would be used to grant Romonus his gift. He had an idea of what Romonus would like.

Just as he was deep in thought, his office door opened, and in walked an ethereal-looking woman. She had white hair and eyes of the same color. She had a lust-provoking body despite being fully dressed in a concealing business suit. Though, when Rahvdall saw her he felt only loathing.

"What, do you want Druheia? I am busy."

She scowled at the words he said.

"Is that any way to speak to your sister Rahvdall? May I remind you that I have 10 Reincarnators while you have just 1. I outrank you by far so show some respect."

He glanced up at her not falling for her provocations.

"You sent your reincarnators to easy safe worlds. All 10 of them barely match up to mine in personality or power. I will repeat, what do you want."

She frowned as despite his Divinity as Insanity, Rahvdall was not easy to make mad. He had been plotting to destroy this company and all other gods of Insanity to own the Divinity of Insanity for himself. A truly insane plan, but one thought from insanity.

"I can feel all the energy you are harvesting from the breaking of Fate. Give me some."

"No. Get your own, now get the fuck out of my office."

She clenched her hands.

"I'm telling Mother."

Rahvdall grinned as he loved to push this bitches buttons.

"Tell the bitch, she doesn't mean shit to me."

"Fuck you."

She turned around and stormed out of his office. While Rahvdall was the god of Insanity, his sister was the goddess of Jealousy. Ever since they were children, she wanted everything of his. He was always stronger, but their Mother favored her because she was a girl. He wanted her dead here and now.

'No, not yet.'

He calmed the dark thoughts brewing in his mind and watched her leave.

'I should get Romonus to murder her Reincarnators. They are all in soft weak worlds barely generating any changes to Fate. Maybe in the future, for a price.'

(I see too many gods plotting against their reincarnators, so instead, I am making a story where a reincarnator IS the plot. I can't wait to write Rhavdall in action, it will be sweet to get the chains off the Insane lad. Probably my second favorite character in this story.)
