The girl's words were continues, but she was also quick to leave, so, she was no annoyance to Bruno. She actually seemed to be a very nice person in fact, and perhaps, this might be the first time someone had ever shown Bruno such an affection. For sure, Bruno would remember this even until the end of his life.
