Even though the creature still looks human like, we all know it is not. From where we stand, we could all see the rot, of the creature. With are eyes that are as dark as the abyss itself, we are all afraid to look in it, because there is a chance that we would be trapped inside.
As we look at Ella in her new form, so did she too look at us. It was like how a lion stalked the antelope before striking. The soon to be battleground was so quiet, but it was not for long.
I guess she came to a quick conclusion that, we are nothing but food to be eaten. She pounced on us, immediately attacking Jax, luckily for him, his weapon was already out, he used it to block, the strike, he then threw a direct punch towards her.
When we saw his face, it was like he dislike whatever happened when he punched her, soon we got our answer why.
"Guys, her skin is as hard as titanium, and don't even try to touch her or let her touch you, because her darkness corrodes things," Jax said.
The rest just nod their head, but I was unable to say a thing, why? I was preoccupied with my own problem, because she has changed her target to me.
When I saw her coming, I quickly tried to create space between both of us, but I guess I wasn't fast enough, she stretched her claw, she then dragged and flung me towards the far wall, I quickly did some flip, so I could balance myself.
When I stopped my self from reaching the wall, I immediately looked up, and not surprising enough she was already rushing towards me.
I then ask my self, why is she still rushing towards me? She did not spend too much time with zephyr, or did she consider my soul more thirsty? Maybe I am just overthinking it, it is not like I have something a monster want right? Why is nobody answering me. Oh I forgot I am only talking to my head, ah foolish me.
While I was talking to my self, I still tried to defend my self, but I feel that it was not enough. As the strike was about to reach me, it was intercepted by zephyr large axe.
And like that, it focus was taken away from me, but sometimes I feel that the monster is still looking at me, how strange. I said in my head.
Looking at how zephyr was fighting, I saw that the large axe did not hinder him, in the battle, instead his battle style look define and fluid. I then also went to join the battle.
We then start to strike her at different point interval, non of us want her focus to turn to us. Soon the battle looks like it will soon come to it end.
As Casseos wanted to give it the last strike with his sword, darkness then start to come out from her body, it then covered her like a shell, we tried to bring the shell down because we all know that if we allow her to finish what she is doing, the battle will get tougher.
But with all our strike, the shell did not break, but there was a crack on it, as we wanted to strike it again, she came out willingly, now she is adorned with new shadow armour on her body, her eyes is now three,we could see tendrils coming out from her back, as if it was a tail.
It was like we came to an agreement, Aria who was don't specialise in close combat, stood back, and start her long ranged firing, me with my daggers, zephyr with his axe, Jax with his gauntlet, Casseos with his sword, and lirean. She too did her own transformation, in the place of her hand, now appear, large claw talon, her eye colour that was dimly lit before, now shine bright like a burning flame that refuse to die hard. It makes her look more beautiful. I quickly erased the thought from my head and focus on the battle.
The five of us strike at once, but this time it is not all our attack that reached the creature body, some were thwarted away by the tendrils at the creature back.
But even with the setback, we still continue attacking, we keep throwing strike after strikes, our efforts was finally rewarded, we were able to pierce her skin now, I then quickly use my two babies( my poison and paralysis dagger) and strike at her wound time after time again, I continue striking the same place until I lost count, how many times I strike.
Soon, the effects of my babies started to show, her movement is now slow, her endless stamina, his now depreciating, but it did not look as if the poison worked, I guess the saying "fight poison with poison" does not work.
But with her slow movement, she was unable to evade our attacks again, now she is trapped, we finally got her. We released over hundred slash and stabs at her.
Soon it looks as if, the end as reach. As lirean was about to give it the finishing blow, I used dash and land the final blow on her.
And that was the end of the "devourer of soul".
Soon I received a message promt.

I then said "oh you can also level up inside this game, what an interesting concept"
Soon the "devourer of soul" body disappear, and in her place, a small box appear.
Jax wanted to go there, but he said he couldn't go there it feels as if whatever is in that box is dangerous for him, the rest agree, while Casseos stayed quiet, not doing anything.
Klein then said. "But I do not feel anything dangerous, instead it felt as if whatever is inside the box is calling me" klein said.
Klein then walked towards the box and picked it up. When he opened the box to see the content of the box, he felt a wave of darkness rushing towards him, it did not do anything to him instead energized him. He felt as if it was here just for him.
He then walked towards the rest to show them the content of the box. They saw that it was a necklace emitting an aura around it.
They then read it information.

"Are you sure, you are capable of using it"
"Yes, I am sure of it" Klein said.
Soon after deciding who will have the reward, they heard the voice of the game, and was later thrown out from the chamber.
