The leader of the Argonauts wore an assortment of gemstones slotted into his light armor, producing a multitude of enchantments.
Able to get a closer look, Zero counted the sheer amount of stones that the man had attached to his equipment:
[Ifrit's Heart] [Undyne's Heart] [Sylph's Heart] [Gnome's Heart] [Reaper Weaver] [Radiant Diffusion] [Arcane Geode]
A whistle left Zero's lips at not only the quantity of gemstones worn by the player, but the quality.
"You've been working hard lately, haven't you? That's not the Jason I know," Zero observed.
Jason laughed, keeping his weapon pointed at Zero with no intent of letting him close the gap freely, "If you think I'm the same half-assed player I was when we fought together, then you've got another thing coming."
—Following those words precisely, the Argonaut leader vanished as a blur. It wasn't teleportation or an illusion; a swift, soundless dash forth carried him and his halberd forward.
