That Katrina was going on a rampage on the Marial and would most likely sink it told Kruxe that the woman planned to swim to shore when she was done with them.

If Katrina wants us all dead, all she has to do is move about, sink the Marila, sink the frigate and go killing those of us trying to survive on floating surfaces and then when she is done, she is done, she swims away.
