Dr. Hall continued to study Sylvester and his alter egos, holding five sessions a week, each lasting three hours. He shared his reports with his senior, Dr. Wright, seeking his guidance after Sylvester had attempted suicide. During this period, Dr. Hall refrained from pressing Sylvester to engage with his other alter egos, allowing him to come to terms with the trauma inflicted by his mother. Sylvester often remained quiet and withdrawn, avoiding interaction with other patients.

Meanwhile, Ricardo found solace in reading books, a habit that seemed to calm him. Agnes spent more time in the garden, tending to plants and enjoying the peace. Marcello, on the other hand, was indulging himself with ice cream and wandering through the corridors, seemingly carefree.

In one of the sessions, Dr. Hall put Sylvester back under hypnosis and called for Agnes.

"Yes, doctor?" Agnes asked.

"Have you been enjoying your time in the garden?" Dr. Hall inquired.
