Chereads / I Am The Dictator In Another World / Chapter 5 - First servant

Chapter 5 - First servant

The next day, I no longer went to the forest for fun. We'll leave it for two days to adapt; the crucial point is that I gained experience fighting creatures in this fantasy world. The rest, I'll explore at another time.

To spend my leisure time in the late afternoon, I needed to go to the antique shop from yesterday to collect the remaining money. With that, I was just at the inn, buying paper, ink, and quill to write character descriptions for the NPC I would create later. Alright, after almost two hours of writing, I finally finished.

My first NPC or servant should be young, although there is an age gap. It's impossible for a teenager to have considerable combat experience unless born in a conflict-ridden area where children have to fight. Furthermore, my first servant shouldn't be foolish and only know how to fight. Therefore, I provided some details.

After wearing the German military uniform again, I extended my hand forward and imagined the appearance of my first servant.

"Okay, let's try to imagine his appearance."

A man with a height of about 175 cm and a weight of around 70 kg appeared. His body was athletic and muscular, the result of rigorous physical training. His skin was fair, short and neatly groomed black hair. Sharp eyes, a pointed nose, thin lips with a warm smile. He wore an olive green military uniform with a sergeant rank insignia on the right sleeve. A green cap covered part of his head, and on his back, there was a sophisticated rifle and a telescope. His backpack contained equipment and supplies for his missions.

When I opened my eyes, I was surprised to find someone standing in front of me. A man had appeared, his appearance matching my imagination.

"If this is how I describe and create a story about this person, how do I put down his name's description? It seems like this is not all finished yet because of his empty gaze."

As if he lacked a soul. Something floated near him. Was it a screen?

When I touched the bell-logoed screen, a window similar to the status window appeared.

"Oh! So, this is how I describe and create a story about this person? Alright, without waiting any longer, let me include everything I've noted."

Then, it took me about 15 minutes to type everything I had written before. And here are the results.

/---/

Name: Ken

Age: 25 years old

Nationality: South Korean

Branch: Army

Rank: Sergeant

Specialization: Hand Combat/Gun Combat/Weapon Mastery

Story: Ken is a dedicated and talented soldier specializing in Hand Combat, Gun Combat, and Weapon Mastery. He joined the army after graduating from the military academy with the highest scores. His goal in joining the military is to avenge the tragic death of his family due to the actions of the North Korean military. He holds great respect for his superiors and comrades, always ready to undertake the missions assigned to him.

Ken's family is of Japanese descent living in a small village near the North Korean border. Despite harboring sorrow, Ken has a cheerful and friendly personality. He enjoys joking and laughing with his friends in the camp. In his free time, he likes to read books, practice, and go fishing. Ken has a special interest in martial arts from various countries and is skilled in training others. He is an optimistic and confident individual, always assessing someone's talent accurately.

However, during his duties, Ken becomes cold and emotionless. He doesn't let feelings or sympathy interfere with his work. He stays focused on his target, shooting with extraordinary accuracy and calmness. He doesn't hesitate to eliminate enemies that threaten the safety of his comrades. Ken is indifferent to the psychological impact of his work, considering it part of his responsibility as a soldier.

"Umm, perhaps the name Ken sounds too Japanese, doesn't it? But in my opinion, maybe that's the best choice, considering Ken's family is of Japanese descent living near the North Korean border."

By adding a slightly tragic and sad background to his story, it provides a deeper emotional dimension to Ken's character. All the unfortunate events that happened to him shaped a strong and loyal personality, which seems to become a distinctive trait of someone like him.

"But, to add a certain touch, it might be good if I slip something in at the end."

/---/

Absolute loyalty to Yamamoto Takeru.

After completing the creation of the background, I noticed a 'send' button in the right corner of the screen. Without hesitation, I pressed it. The floating screen disappeared, and my eyes immediately focused on the now-transformed Ken. His eyes emitted a light that was previously absent, and his expression changed from confusion to full attention. Initially, he seemed a bit puzzled, carefully observing his surroundings. However, suddenly, his focus shifted towards me, and with a firm stance, he saluted in a modern military manner.

"Sergeant Ken, ready for duty!"

This change made him appear more alive, and it seemed that my character creation ability successfully brought forth a realistic figure. I smiled with satisfaction at the result, confident that Ken would be a strong pillar in my journey.

That afternoon, Takeru invited Ken to be his guard while carrying a significant amount of money. Takeru did not underestimate the situation; there might be leaked information, either from the tricky shop owner or someone else in his acquaintance circle. Moreover, the alorji would be auctioned, which meant the situation could become unpredictable. Takeru knew that prevention was better than cure.

Takeru glanced at Ken, who looked surprised and impressed while observing his surroundings.

"Ken, familiarize yourself with this place. Even more, get used to this world. Remember, we are no longer on the Earth we know."

"Yes, sir!" Ken replied firmly.

Ken still seemed rigid towards Takeru. After adding his character description, Ken seemed to have an excessive multak loyalty, manifested in an exaggerated sense of admiration. Takeru tried to avoid making him like characters from other stories who were unaware of the consequences of NPC character description changes.

Takeru felt that Ken's stiffness and formal address might attract unwanted attention. Besides, Ken's attire seemed conspicuous, so before going to the antique shop, Takeru decided to buy some local clothes to not stand out too much.

Takeru wore a tunic made of gray wool, paired with a white robe, as the black color might make him feel too hot in this environment. Dark brown long pants and boots made from a creature called Banteng sheep, a mix between a banteng and a sheep.

While Ken wore the same type of clothing with different colors. He wore a tunic in dark brown, black long pants, and boots with the same material as those worn by Takeru. Their previous clothes were stored in Takeru's inventory.

With this change in appearance, it was hoped that Takeru and Ken could more easily blend into the surrounding environment.

And because they were about to approach the mentioned antique shop, they stopped for a moment in a quiet alley to slip in some weapons. Since Takeru only brought a Glock pistol from Earth and a modified AK-47, Ken carried the Glock pistol in his hands, while Takeru only brought the assault rifle hidden behind his robe.

If a robbery did occur, Takeru could see how his first servant, Ken, would act.
