Today the son and heir of the Egret shipping company fell off a cliff to his death. Presumably suicide however we are yet to confirm this in the investigation.

A science lab exploded yesterday in the south pole, and emmited an unknown power for miles in an instant and is constantly traveling to the rest of the world. Everyone in the lab died from the explosion but we have been told the unusual power is safe.

These two things may seem completely unrelated. And in a way, they are! However when the heir of the shipping company died it was the exact timing that was needed for the unusual power to push his floating consciousness to the pregnant bat above him.

This caused his consciousness to be transferred in to her egg. This in effect forced the egg to split in two. Creating twins. Thus giving our new found main character a chance to live again.

If you could see these two unborn pups you would see that they aren't your usual bats. What was different was how they had human characteristics. In fact they looked like human babies. Almost. They had the beginnings of wings, they also had bat like ears and eyes. In yet they still looked human. What was most startling was how human there legs and arms were. You see their arms were half human and half bat. The wings were connected to the upper arm and only up to half way on the fore arm. This meant their hands were more free. But they would need to hold their wings with their hands as support. Now what of their feet? Well their feet were that of a human, however they had long toes with the beginnings of claws. These feet were appropriate for walking on two legs and sleeping upside down like a bat.

They were the perfect hybrid. Seemingly anyway.

Normally it takes a bat six to nine weeks to give birth, but not for these two. This poor mother had to wait 12 weeks! When the day finally came to give birth all ahe was incredibly relieved.

The first twin to come out was a girl. She was just as humanlike as the boy who was about to come out. But she was perfectly healthy. Now it was rhe boys turn, so far so good. However when he got out, and she took a half an hour rest, she then realised how incredibly pale he was, he was as white as a sheet. He was an albino, not that she knew what that meant.

She let out a scream when she saw the shape of the two children. She'd never seen anything like them! Luckily all the other bats were asleep since it was day time.

She looked at her two pups again they were very strange, However they were her children, she'd do anything to keep them safe.

After a few moments of contemplation she decided to fly as far as she could from any other bats, they would surely hate her children. After travelling 150miles, She managed to find an old abandoned lab with lots of fruit trees around it. It was perfect. This was there new home.
