~~~Third Person, Date?~~~
~~~Place?~~~
Azrael carefully opened his eyes, feeling a numbness throughout his body, as well as a massive headache, as if a train had passed over his body repeatedly, with the stabbing pain in his body being unbearable, causing even moving his eyeballs to cause him annoying pain.
Deciding to close his eyes again, he began to diagnose his body, feeling that it was whole and there was no problem beyond the general pain, so without much thought, he summoned a regeneration-casting potion.
"Mhmh," a small groan came out of Azrael's mouth, as he felt his chest being ripped open from the inside out, at the same time as a headache more intense than the one he felt moments before appeared. It shot up from his back to the back of his head.
"I see you have awakened, my Khal," Azrael heard a voice, a woman's voice, and as much as he felt pain, he opened his eyes in surprise, raising his head with difficulty and searching for the source of the voice, since he knew to whom the voice belonged.
"Amanda, cof! Cof!" Azrael spoke, ending up coughing up blood due to the strain on his vocal cords. But that didn't matter to him, for him, the most important thing was not to take his eyes off Amanda, who was standing in front of the door of the room he was in.
Speaking of the room, Azrael frowned a little, not recognizing the place he was in, the room was wide, and was made with orange-red stone, the source of light being a small waterfall of lava that fell from the ceiling in one corner and was sucked into the red stone floor.
Not only that but now that Azrael was getting a better look, he saw that a mirage was visible in the air, like the mirage on the roads. "Where am I?"
Azrael asked confused, not knowing about his situation and why he was in this strange place in the first place, "Amanda, help me up, I must get the army forward to stop Pol Qo," Azrael asked, looking at Amelia, who quickly came over to where he was, and begin to help him sit up on the bed.
Azrael passed the regeneration casting potion to Amanda, "Come, apply the potion to me, this damn pain is killing me," Azrael asked Amanda, with a smile on his face, as Amanda nodded and removed the cork from the potion, and move on to spray it on Azrael's chest, which absorbed all the potion in a matter of seconds.
"Haa, what a break, I swear my head was about to explode any second," Azrael complained, taking Amelia's hand in his and receiving a small laugh from Amanda, who was still looking at Azrael with a melancholy and sad face. "Wait..."
Azrael realized something, raising his head in surprise and resentment, but not at Amanda, but at himself. "You're dead, you're dead, I saw it, I held your body, I tried to cheer you up, how come you're with me, where am I?"
A chain of questions came one after another to Azrael's mind, momentarily disorienting him, not letting go of her hand, afraid that at the slightest move, she would disappear from his side. He did not understand anything of what was happening, the last thing he remembered was that he was about to initiate an emergency meeting with the Ministers to prepare the armies and leave for Bazar, the city that Pol Qo ruled to stop him.
But now it turns out that he woke up in a strange room, with Amanda in his care, as if he had never died two years ago.
"I am," Amanda replied sweetly, causing Azrael to lift his head from the floor and look at her, "I've been here for a long time, I don't know how long, only the moon and the sun never appear," Amanda continued speaking, a hint of melancholy passing through her lilac eyes.
"I'm not alone, there are many people here, also strange animals and curious beings, they are harmless, except those black things, they don't like to have their eyes looked at," Amanda finished laughing at the last part, her gaze wandering remembering her stay in this strange place.
"Nether," Azrael whispered, but because Amanda was very close to him, she managed to hear him, "yeah, that's the name of this place!" She commented happily.
As for Azrael, he was now more confused than before, how had he ended up in the Nether? He didn't remember creating a portal and crossing over, besides, how was Beloved in the Nether? Or her spirit, soul, whatever, since he knew her body had been cremated that day when he tried to resurrect her with Valka's help.
Deciding to leave the room he was in, Azrael got up from the bed he was in, taking Amanda by surprise, who also got up and helped him stand up. Walking to the door, the temperature began to rise a little, not stifling, but enough to compare it to the cool, warm breezes coming off the sea.
Amanda opened the door, giving Azrael way to pass after her, and the sight he received surprised him.
The door led to a large balcony, which was suspended in what appeared to be a giant tower of black stone and seas of lava flowing from the walls to the floor. Reaching up to the stone railing at the end of the balcony, Azrael observed the Nether for the first time, a vast immensity of land that to the naked eye seemed endless, with seas and rivers of boiling lava wherever the eye looked.
And just as Amanda said before, several creatures native to the Nether were present. Huge-sized Ghast, which resembled flying elephants, flew among the towering red stone 'sky'. Massive groups of Piglin were running in clusters over hoglins, at the same time he could see what looked like huge groups of Enderman in the Deformed Woods.
Not only that, but houses, castles, and various settlements were in various locations, creating a peculiar and previously unseen sight in the Nether of the game.
"Several times several people arrive, a few days ago more people arrived, telling stories of a glorious battle against soldiers with strange head shapes, they say they died fighting like true Horse Riders, and that they are proud to reach the resting place their Khal created for them," Amanda commented, giving clarity and at the same time more confusion to Azrael, who did not understand anything of what was going on.
"Is there a way down from here?" Azrael asked if he may have been able to fly, but he wondered how Amanda had gotten up to the top of the tower, a place that had no stairs or any elevator with a Redstone mechanism or anything like that.
Amanda smiling approached the edge of the balcony, and in one fluid and quick movement, she stood on the edge of the stone railing, "just have to trust," was what she said, then opened her arms and threw herself backward off the cliff.
"Amanda!" Azrael shouted in fright, throwing himself moments later behind Amanda with panic evident on his face, instead, Amanda continued to fall at great speed with her arms still open, not in any way concerned that she was about to turn to a pulp once she hit the ground.
Nevertheless, Amanda was confident, partly because she had done this many times, so she had nothing to fear, instead, Azrael kept approaching Amanda each time, thinking to grab her before she fell, worried for her well-being.
However, his worries were unfounded, when he saw Amanda flip over in the air, being upside down and starting to break her fall until she reached the ground and fell gently. "How did you do that!" Azrael soon reached Amanda, with a surprised but at the same time happy face, asking about her ability to avoid the fall, which was getting over a kilometer high.
"We are in the Nether, my Khal, here everything is possible," Amanda replied, at which point several men began to arrive where the two were standing. "The Khal has arrived!"
"The Khal visits us! " It was several euphoric shouts that greeted Azrael, causing him to look towards the mob of men coming to meet him, noticing that they were Dothrakis, which confused him, moment in which he felt his body being dragged from his navel, as if a hook was pulling him, dragging him to the balcony where he had previously been with Amanda, forcing his way into the room where he had awakened minutes before, finally seeing the door of the room close, before losing consciousness.
When he awoke again, Valka's voice greeted him, bringing more confusion to Azrael's stormy mind.
