~~~Third Person, Fifth Moon, 277 AC~~~
~~~Hidden Sea, Essos~~~
"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!"
The explosion with which the Wither made itself known was enormous, throwing the Winged Knight with abruptness and supreme force into the Hidden Sea, at the same time creating a huge gust of wind from the source of the explosion, causing several Winged Men to be ejected several meters away, with some unfortunate eagles evaporating as they were closer to the explosion.
It was as if the meteorite that extinguished the dinosaurs had fallen in the middle of the battlefield, banishing all peace that had gone before and causing a holocaust of catastrophic amounts.
The wither, the core of such a situation and the greatest threat presented at the time let out several roars from its three heads, stunning many on the battlefield, it was as if the souls of the damned from hell had made their way to the surface to torment everyone with their wailing.
In Minecraft, the two most terrifying, dangerous, and powerful creatures the player could encounter or summon were named Warden and Wither, monstrous and unique creatures, each with unique and singular abilities and characteristics. They were beings straight out of hell itself, it was as if Minecraft was god's fifty-first zone, where he cast all his evil creations to see how they fared.
And now, one of those creations, and one of the most dangerous in its own right, had appeared for the first time, and knowing the enemies Azrael would face, it wouldn't be the last.
"BOOOM!"
"Sprash!"
The Wither did not stand still and inactive after striking the Winged Knight, flying rudely through the skies above the Hidden Sea, firing lightning-charged balls of energy at every Winged Man or eagle it encountered, the energy orbs were pitch-black skulls, which had enormous explosive power. Any being unlucky enough to encounter one was killed.
That, plus the fact that the Wither had a lot of mobility in the air, plus the fact that its attacks were unpredictable, caused the Winged Men to be at a huge disadvantage, a fact that was demonstrated when they began to take many casualties.
"Chack!"
Amid the battle rage, three huge spears managed to hit the Wither squarely, impaling themselves on its skeletal body, which, although they failed to penetrate deep enough, did cause the Wither to pause for a moment.
The Wither, a gathering of cursed human souls, condensed into a monster whose only desire is to destroy all life, was immune to physical damage to a certain extent, being possible to wound it with ranged attacks, however, although these ranged blows were deadly to normal people or beasts, for the Wither, it was only a pinprick, and in the case of being seriously wounded, it could heal itself by attacking enemies nearby, using the health taken from its enemies because of its attacks to heal itself.
Therefore, although the spears were thrown with enormous force, it only caused the Wither to stop for a few seconds, to throw a skull toward the group of Winged Men that had managed to throw the spears.
The peculiar thing about the skull was that it was not black but bright blue, which created an explosion three times stronger than the previous ones, killing more than fifteen Winged Men in a single attack, and wounding many more in its path.
The Wither then did something strange with its body, from the crowns of its three cadaverous heads its skin began to move, as if ripples in a lake as a thrown rock created them.
The strange movement of his 'skin' moved rapidly throughout his body, and when it reached a spear embedded in his body it evaporated, leaving no trace of a wound on his body, as if his own body healed itself in a matter of seconds. This was due to his regeneration obtained thanks to the vital force obtained from his enemies whom he had attacked with his skulls.
In every way, he was a death machine, with an almost infinite regeneration system as long as he had where to get it from, as well as possessing enormous long-distance attacks. It was a creature worthy of holding the title of Minecraft's second boss.
"RAAAAAHHH!"
At that moment, The Winged Knight, who had been under the waters of the Hidden Sea for over seven minutes, shot out from the depths of the sea, with a furious look on its face and a huge thirst for blood. Whether by bad luck, or reasons of fate, The Winged Knight ran into one of the wyverns of Xandar, where Valka was going.
"Die!" The Winged Knight screamed, crashing into the wyvern and slashing at Valka with his sword. Valka reacted late, and though she managed to raise her sword to intercept the blow, still the force of it knocked her off her mount, same mount that was killed shortly after when the Winged Knight cut off its head.
"VALKA!" Azrael, standing several feet away from her, shouted in alarm and anger, as his eyes turned a whitish hue, while a pale glow showed on his drow-like face, with Endoxes glowing in a blinding purple glow as he sensed Azrael's endless fury. The sky darkened, turning dark gray, with lightning thundering high in the sky, with Azrael being the focus of the weather change.
Azrael, lost in his fury, raised his sword, taking lightning from the storm, with his sword absorbing all the discharge from the hundreds of thousands of volts of electricity. "AAHHH!" Azrael screamed, and with rage contained in every fiber of his being, he pointed his sword at the Winged Knight.
The sky, the storm, and the lightning, as if they had decided to obey Azrael in a mutual agreement, did what Azrael wanted, with the lightning absorbed by the sword being shot out with force at a speed close to light, reaching the Winged Knight with infinite rage just like that of its caster.
"AAAHHH!" The Winged Knight let out a roar combined with agonized wails from his throat, as the lightning bolts struck him relentlessly, blackening his skin and burning his wings, throwing him face-first into the beach.
"BOOM!" A loud crater was created with The Winged Knight at its center, with sand and smoke rising high into the sky. Once the dust and smoke flared, The Winged Knight came into view, curled up in the sand at the bottom of the crater, with his entire body charred, and thick black blood-like tar pouring from his many wounds, as small streams of electricity coursed throughout his rotting body.
As for Azrael, even in his transformation and awakened powers, he continued to command the winds and lightning in his fury, striking every Winged Man or eagle with countless bolts of lightning until they turned to dust. His fury knew no bounds, even after seeing the witches manage to take Valka before she fell into the sea.
In his blind rage, he made a move he hadn't made for months, and that was to summon thinking beings, the last time he did it, he lasted in bed for a few hours due to mental exhaustion. But now, his reasoning was not present. Azrael opened his arms, as if he were a divine being before his disciples, while thousands of dark mists with purple spots began to come out of his body.
The Enderman, being summoned for the first time by Azrael, began to go everywhere, advancing like a wave of infinite darkness full of death and destruction, sweeping away every enemy that was close to them, initiating another round of death together with the help of the Wither.
Azrael, drenched in sweat and with his veins showing under his skin, let out a scream, as he felt as if thousands of screeches were making their way into his mind, tearing through his flesh and skin and into his head. His flesh began to burn, and his bones began to tremble at the excruciating pain that shot through his mind and body. It was like the howl of a thousand souls burning, a ripple that seemed to run through his being as blood began to pour from his ears, nose, and eyes.
Endoxes reeled as the residue of the pain Azrael was going through also pierced him, a product of his union with Azrael, a union without explanation, but one that united them as two separate bodies, sharing thoughts, feelings, and desires through their minds, Endoxes moved his huge wings and in an instant, also let out a mighty roar from deep within his being.
His answering roar to Azrael's cry caused the weather to worsen, with his roar growing louder and louder until it drowned out the noise of the storm, reverberating through the air like a clarion call and haunting the reason of everyone on the battlefield.
Azrael, his head tilted back, his body moving erratically and his eyes bloodshot, dropped into the world of unconsciousness, losing control of his body and slipping from Endoxes' back, falling into the sea like a dying star.
