The sincerity of her words moved the sisters deeply, one covering her mouth and the other holding her hand, neither exerting any force, but both apply a dab of saliva under your eyes to act as tears.
"It's so touching, Avery, you're swearing such a serious oath for us, we're moved to tears," they said.
The older sister, in a dramatic gesture, wiped her tears on Avery Miller's clothes, followed by the younger sister doing the same.
Avery recoiled as if avoiding a virus, quickly distancing her clothes from them before they could latch on again, sprinting ahead.
"Are you two for real? Wiping your saliva on my clothes?" Avery made a face at them, then turned and ran.
Chasing her proved to be a struggle for the sisters. "You could use our clothes too!" the older sister yelled out.
"Yeah!" echoed the younger sister.
"We wouldn't mind!" the older sister added.
