At this moment everything isn't looking good for Reide. Either left or right, up front or behind, above or below. He is surrounded in all directions by rains of attacks terrifyingly strong enough to be able to turn him into a pool of blood.
However, Reide didn't seem to mind at all and just stood there waiting with no emotions. This inaction made some of the assailants to think that this certain demigod has surrendered to his fate, but all of them still felt that something is wrong.
Like inhaling poison diluting the air they breath, the group of foreign demigods felt helplessness in their hearts even though there's nothing they can see that could threaten them in this current situation. After all these attacks are all from demigod powerhouses even if the other party is a 90% divinity, in front of them, he still has to die.
Without much surprises, all the attacks landed on Reide and he "died" without suspense.
Without even letting the dust settle down,the pupils of these demigods has already shrunk dramatically.
Through the clouds of dusts,in front of these demigods stood a lone figure, with a body made out of crystals filled with webs of cracks and deep sword marks with each wound bleeding with golden dusts and mana.
Only at this moment did the other 5 demigods reacted;"BE CAREF- AAAAH!"
But then Reide, hidden from sight, spoke to himself;
"Don't worry too much, I can't kill you all" then he smiled " ...except for one"
Before anyone can react, those demigods suddenly disappeared from their spot leaving the heavily injured demigod to face Reide, who is still in his peak condition.
Only then did Reide made his move, raising a magic circle above his head
"Hahahaha! Desolate Isolation!"
"Zzzt"
With a sound like that of electricity and a flash of yellow light, everything turned quiet while a magic circle covered both the crystal demigod and Reide below.

FLASHBACK:
Facing attacks from all directions, Reide felt chills and cold sweat all over his body.
Surely, he'd be dead if he was hit by these attacks
Yet still, his expression remained calm and composed.
With cold eyes, he disappeared before he was hit, replaced by someone.

PRESENT:
"H-huma--n d-d-die!"
With cracked voice, the crystal demigod shouted as he tried to pounce upon Reide.
"No, I should be the one telling you that" Reide mocked as he finally made a move
" Also, don't you think it is such a stupid scheme to pounce on me first thing when you're trying to detonate yourself?"
Reide continued as the other party got immobilized by an unknown force from Reide
"You should have at least put more effort on your act"
With that, the crystal demigod, with widened eyes suddenly turned limp then fell lifeless on the charred ground.
"Sigh" sighing with sadness in his eyes while looking up at the unusual sky, Reide thought;' Is it still worth it to fight these battles?'
After a while of self reflection, Reide finally moved.
Grabbing the corpse of the crystal demigod, Reide turned and left the place.
As he flew away, the water wall surrounding the ruins finally surged down like a hundred tsunami, destroying and leaving nothing intact of what was left of the ruins.
Throughout the process, Reide never let himself look at the ruins one last time as if he ever did look back, he'll never want to leave again.
But except for the sound of his clothes whipping with the wind, everything happened with his mouth shut, as if he never want to say goodbye.

In the middle of a plain
A burning tree stands alone in the middle of this plain like a torch or candle burning and trying to spread around it's surrounding.
But instead of dying, the tree seemed to be increasing in vitality instead as if the flames are it's leaves.
The tree towers at a staggering 506 feet high and a diameter of 36 feet.(Note: the tallest tree in the current world is 379.1 feet high while the largest one is only 25 feet in diameter)
As the tree burns, a bird was attracted to it like a moth drawn to the flame of a candle. But instead of backing away from the burning tree, the bird got even closer and closer until it touched the flame and it too burned but unlike the tree, it turned into ashes.
At this moment, a figure of a 16 year old youth floated above this very tree as it witnessed everything that happened.
It was Reide who was thinking to himself that;
' 4 days have passed already, yet other than the searched soul of that crystal demigod there's no other information about the surviving Humans of "this Earth" '
"Sigh...other than this phoenix matriarch tree, I can't think of other possible source of information, but thankfully this tree has developed it's own consciousness"
Reide spoke to himself with relief as he descended towards the burning tree without flinching, even trying to grab something inside it's raging flames.
