Seraiah Ruvik Isaev made his way through the halls of the first underground level of the Vatican of Silksuntecks. More specifically, to the underground meeting room, the Black Chamber.
What was this place? Quite simply, it was the meeting room for the Black Scripture, the most powerful elite unit in the entire Slane Theocracy, and humanity itself.
Following him, was one of the newest members. Known as White Orchid, the new 2nd Seat replacing the lost Time Turbulence, Salyria Maryavel.
A beautiful woman with purple hair, blue eyes, and pure white holy clothes. A white habit, white dress with quite a bust, grey belts, crosses all over, white boots up to the knees, belts around the thighs with different vials with liquids, and a staff on the belt around her waist made of wood, quite short, but curious looking.
{White Orchid PNG}
Less than a year was enough to find a suitable replacement for such an important member as Time Turbulence had been.
Additionally, White Orchid was one of the few members of the Black Scripture in all of history who could use the Sacred Treasure with as great an affinity as its previous wielder could.
Likewise, she was one of the greatest magic researchers currently. Not because the Theocracy no longer possessed highly renowned researchers, or because she was especially interested in it, but because it was necessary.
After all, after 'that war', magic users… Were at a disadvantage all over the world.
Seraiah was relaxed, somewhat relieved, but tense. Very tense. After all, while he was in the safest place in the Theocracy, the overall situation was not exactly favorable.
"Captain. What is so important about this meeting? Is it another mission?" Salyria asked curiously, walking behind the Captain elegantly.
"No. It is not a mission. But it is something important for the entire Black Scripture, and even the Theocracy." The Captain blurted out, leaving the woman quite perplexed.
What could be so important as to have such magnitude…? Some new artifact? Some important news about the Demons? Some progress on the problem with magic?
Or perhaps… A new member?
Salyria contemplated that last one in silence. It was likely. After all, the 8th Seat position had been open since the Black Scripture first encountered the Komodo Demon. Additionally, the 7th Seat had been practically empty since even before that due to the state the Thousand Mile Astrologer was in.
It was certainly intriguing, but Salyria did not inquire further. She would get her answer soon.
Finally, after walking a little further, they arrived at one of the doors that led to the Black Chamber. Just like many things in the Theocracy, the entrances to the Black Chamber were divided into 6 from different points. That way, the members wouldn't have to go through the entire Vatican to reach the entrance. And while there was a chance that they would be attacked from different places, they were the strongest of humanity, it was unlikely that they would be so overwhelmed. And even then, they would have to get through Silksuntecks' countless defenses to even reach the 1st underground level. Not to mention the others, such as the last level, the Sanctum Sanctorum.
Opening the door, the Captain, following chivalrous protocol, stepped aside, allowing Salyria to enter first.
She let out a 'thank you', and silently entered, followed by the captain.
She wasn't surprised to see the other members of the Black Scripture. From the old ones to the new ones.
After all, a replacement had to be found for the 9th Seat, also killed during an ambush in Tob Forest by one of the Komodo Demon's servants.
Well, there were really only two new ones in the Black Scripture; She, Salyria, the replacement for the 2nd Seat, and the replacement for the 9th Seat, Susi Maryabelle Deis. Also known as 'Holy Torture' due to her status and attitude against humanity's goals and enemies.
She was a woman quite similar to Salyria, with purple hair, a nun's habit, a good body and a pretty face. Only her habit was black and shorter, with a revealing white leotard that didn't cover her thighs at all, black gloves, silver heels with white stockings, a black thigh guard with a silver key hanging from it, and purple eyes with a mole under her left eye.
In addition to that, there was the small silver and gold box with a lock trapping her wrists together, and the armored pair of knight's arms attached to it by two blue ribbons at her hip, floating above her crossed arms, made of silver, gold, and faint hints of a blue metal, as well as two silver crosses with sky-blue jewels on her sides and a sort of silver crown with another jewel. Normally, in combat at least, she would have a long, massive spear of silver, gold, and that blue material being gripped by her metallic arms.
{Holy Torture PNG}
Whatever the case, outside of the two girls, they were all members of the Black Scripture who had been face to face with the Komodo Demon.
And besides her seat and the captain's, there were a few empty chairs. The 7th Seat's, the 8th Seat's, and the Extra Seat's, which was always empty anyway… Except this time, it was only empty because the Extra Seat, Certain Death, was leaning against a wall, with her Gods' toy, the rubik cube, in her hands, not very interested.
Taking a seat, Salyria saw the captain look at one of the entrances to the Black Chamber. It was one that was not often used, as it was the secret entrance from the catacombs. Even someone experienced in exploration could get lost there, and only the Black Scripture members knew only the simplest passages.
Additionally, there was a restroom before the catacombs there, so it was not just 'an entrance' either, but a small place to relax before or after meetings with a hot drink or something.
Not daring to speak until Seraiah sat down, the seats silently stared at the captain.
He only turned his gaze towards his seat, and finally, he sat down. And only then, the 6th Seat spoke with some irritation.
"Captain… What is this all about?" He asked seriously. Normally he would have stayed quiet and calm, but the reason for his irritation came from the one who wasn't even paying attention, moving the sides and colors of the 6-sided three-dimensional object in her hands.
"6th, calm down. That's what I'm getting at." The Captain sighed, standing up and resting his hands against the table. "As you may know, the 8th Seat, Cedran, the Myriad Mirrors, was killed alongside Lady Caire during the fight against the Komodo Demon over a year ago."
Several seats looked at each other, confused as to why he was pointing out what everyone already knew… Though of course, an idea was floating around as an explanation.
"Since then, the 8th Seat was open and without replacements. Especially because of the subsequent loss of the previous 2nd and 9th Seats. Additionally, the Thousand Mile Astrologer, the 7th Seat, was inactive due to her comatose condition for so long, which is the same as nothing." He explained another thing that everyone knew. Though the latter noticeably disheartened the 10th Seat, who was still dealing with the loss of his lover. "Thus, due to the lack of 2 seats in their entirety, the Black Scripture's overall strength dropped incredibly, so much so, that only two of Komodo's subordinate Demons were able to eliminate another 2 seats."
Seraiah let the information sink into everyone's attention. Though he was interrupted by the normally extra person in the room.
"If they found replacements for those two, then you wouldn't have summoned me here." The Extra Seat's dull, monotone voice caught everyone's attention, and made Seraiah sigh.
"True. That would be the case normally… However, Zesshi… These two new members are of utmost importance. Especially one of them."
"One of them?" The 5th Seat muttered with a slight frown.
"You may enter." Seraiah said loudly. And the door to the break room opened.
In front of one of the wooden benches with red cushions, there was a tall woman, kneeling and seemingly praying.
She had a remarkable silver armor, her shoulder pads were shaped like roses, as were the plates on her hips. It was a small, sharp plate armor, but perfectly made, having plates around her neck, from her collarbone to her back, forming another rose, going down and covering her entire torso. Her joints were clearly not fully covered, but she did have a gray fabric, it looked like leather because it was so dense, good for stopping certain weaker attacks.
Her arms were fully protected, her armor having lines that formed diamond shapes, all the way down to her hands, which had articulated plates that ended in sharp points on her fingers.
Her legs had metallic grey roses on her knees, with her thighs covered in shiny plates of the silver metal, while beneath the roses, was a single solid plate, reaching down to her feet, where there were several plates, making a solid and articulated, and therefore comfortable shoe-like shape, ending in a sharp point.
Still, notable was the long blue cape that fell from one of her shoulders, and even more so, the semi-transparent veil that covered her hair and face, held in place by a crown of thorns.
{Titania~ PNG}
The woman kept praying, yet her companion did turn around.
She was a beautiful woman dressed in all black. She had a long black trench coat, the same color as her bright hair. It fell to her ankles, it had many buttons, but none of them were on, being open and showing her clothes, having a tight black jacket, with three belts holding it in place, as well as long black pants, with a black ribbon on each thigh.
She had a silver necklace resembling a fang, as well as a pair of silver earrings in her ears. She had a chain on her waist, connected to the outside of her trench coat, having a black pearl on one end of it. Black latex-like gloves adorned her hands, as well as a silver badge on her shoulder.
Part of her hair fell down like a fringe, hiding her left eye, but her right eye was still visible, showing its deep red color.
{Alicia 2.0 PNG}
She raised a hand and placed a finger on her lips, signaling for them to be silent, respecting the silver woman's prayer.
Most of the people present looked at the female duo in surprise and confusion. However, little by little, they connected the dots.
"Titania!?" The 5th Seat blurted out in surprise.
"Oh? That's the legendary Paladin who fought the Komodo Demon?" The 6th Seat muttered. And as a Paladin, he was intrigued, though as a religious man… He was disgusted.
"Hm… That's Elise…" The 3rd Seat muttered as well, stroking his chin as he looked at the one-eyed woman.
The 4th, 9th, 11th, and 12th Seats remained silent, though some with expressions of surprise and intrigue, and others indifferent.
"Hm~ Titania, huh~" The 10th blurted out, interested as he looked at the Paladin's body. Not in a sexual way, but in pure attempt to examine her physical ability at a glance. However, he soon gave up after looking back at the Extra Seat, who was looking rather curiously at the new duo. The Extra Seat was perfect proof that you couldn't judge a book by its cover. That woman was much stronger than she looked with her small and thin body.
The 2nd Seat was between opening and closing her mouth like a fish, and about to ask the Captain.
And on the other hand, Elise, the famous Holy Black Flower, the Adventurer's partner… Or well, ex-adventurer, the National Heroine of Deorum Regnum, looked rather downcast, almost shy, at everyone ignoring her request for silence, while also very annoyed.
Still, she took a step back when the silver woman began to stand up, having, apparently, finished praying. "My Lad- Your Holiness. They call you." Elise exclaimed towards Titania, who turned around, her covered face unable to be seen as the woman removed the crown of thorns that held the cloth in place, revealing her perfect face.
{Titania's Gaze PNG}
The Paladin, and apparently also a Saint, began to walk towards them, entering the room with Elise following behind her.
Titania, without a doubt, lived up to-, no… Stories about her appearance fell short, but they doubted that she was here just for her pretty face.
"As you may have identified, these are the former adamantite-class adventurers, now national heroes of Deorum Regnum, Elise, and the Saint Titania." The Captain said in a way of introducing himself to the pair of women.
"Captain…? H-How…?" Salyria tried to ask, incredulous and confused.
"Excuse me." Titania's soft and solid voice sounded, drawing everyone's attention. "First of all, I apologize for what happened earlier, my faith comes first, so I must not stop my prayers for reasons beyond life or death." The Paladin explained, raising a hand and closing her eyes. "And about my reason here… Well, it's quite simple really." She shrugged.
"Some order perhaps?" The 3rd Seat muttered, almost suspicious.
"Rather, it's an official alliance between the Argland Council, Deorum Regnum, and the Theocracy." The Captain said, earning more than a few shocked glances.
"Huh!? Since when!?" The 6th Seat shouted, slamming the table in annoyance.
"How come we didn't know about this?" The 11th asked, noticeably calmer than the 6th.
"Because it's something recent. Very recent." Titania said with a rather contemptuous look at the other paladin present.
"Is that so? How curious. I wasn't informed either." For the first time, Zesshi, the Extra Seat spoke, with a rather amused smile.
"In fact, I was just informed of the officialization of that alliance, but I was informed that it was being planned due to a secret exchange between the Cardinals, the Queen of Deorum Regnum, and the Dragon Councilors." The Captain explained.
"Tch. Are we really going to work with those lizards and heretic pieces of shit?" 6th clicked his tongue, looking very questioningly at Titania, earning a glare from Elise.
The Paladin looked at the group and spoke.
"Before winter came, quite a few events happened, quite catastrophic ones… But I think we all have an idea of what the Komodo Demon did that day. Re-Estize will be remembered as what happens to those who decide to go it alone against a force like the Komodo. So I suggest you accept me here, for, no offense, but I am stronger than you." Titania said looking at the 6th seat. "And than many here." She said looking at everyone, including that 'extra' one.
This earned several glances, from hostile, to careful, to interested. The latter two came from the 10th and Extra Seats, obviously.
As well as a slight smirk was on Elise's face.
However, before any possible conflict could begin, the captain lightly slammed the table, not breaking it or making such a loud noise, but drawing attention.
"Enough. This is no time to be biting each other's throats. We are all humans here. The difference between our beliefs matters little when we are facing a threat to anything other than evil beings like the Demons." Seraiah announced sternly, before sighing. "Also, I want to stress that violence between members of a Scripture will not be tolerated."
That last bit, making it official, was the last straw for several.
"Huh!? Am I going to have to work with this heretic back to back!? How do I know you won't sell me out to your nasty Elves and Demihumans when I'm not looking!?" 6th complained again, standing up as he faced the captain.
"Slavery is forbidden in Deorum Regnum." Elise said, looking at him with a slight frown. Not because of the accusations about selling him out, but because of calling Titania herself, Saint of Deorum Regnum, a 'Heretic'. And well, among other things.
The Paladin put her hand on Elise's shoulder, calming her down, as she continued to listen to more complaints.
"Captain, I'm not sure many here can easily adapt to this… Implementation…" Salyria, 2nd Seat, muttered from the captain's side, noticing how 6th was still complaining, along with 4th and 9th, although the latter two weren't as aggressive about it.
"Ha… Well, they'll have to. Right now, humanity must be united, regardless of belief… And with a threat targeting all beings walking this world, we must even be willing to work alongside other races." The 1st Seat sighed. "6th, be quiet. If you have any complaints about this, keep them to yourself. This is a meeting room for official matters, not a kindergarten for you to throw a tantrum in." Seraiah decided to put an end to the Paladin's complaints.
He looked rather irritatedly at the Captain, but he just clicked his tongue and looked away as he sat down.
"... Titania, Elise, I apologize for such a lack of tolerance. I hope you understand that this is something new for our unit." The Captain had to apologize. Not only would it be a diplomatic fiasco, but they could lose the help and will of someone like Titania to support the Theocracy.
He doubted that the Paladin would not understand that they should be united against this threat, but once eradicated, these situations could make any possibility of at least a neutral relationship with Deorum Regnum impossible.
"Don't worry, Mr. Isaev. I fought the Komodo Demon many times, each time making me realize how united humanity must be to face such a threat. Something like this will never make me doubt my position. Surely they will understand when they see it." Titania explained with a slight smile, as she not only had a very large and impressive combat record, but she was the one who had fought the most against the Komodo Devil, and who almost defeated it.
"I see… My apologies, again." Seraiah nodded rather contentedly towards the Paladin of White, gaining a good impression of her.
Seraiah was quite a religious person, but he was not as extreme as the 6th Seat was, or someone like the Captain of the Sunlight Scripture had been.
"I repeat my question, though. What does this have to do with me~?" Zesshi asked, quite amused to see the Black Scripture Paladin's irritation.
"… Zesshi, the Cardinals decided that you will be deployed to aid against the Komodo Demon. So, along with the rest of the Black Scripture, the Elite forces of Deorum Regnum, and the Argland Council, you will be coming to the Demonic Empire of Komodo."
The Half-Elf blinked as she looked at Seraiah for a moment, and smiled widely.
On the other hand, Elise looked 'shy' and depressed towards all the members, especially the 3rd, after all, she could smell and see them… Those who were linked with him. They couldn't hide from her. Nor from Titania, who clasped her hands behind her, the sound of metal scraping could be heard, her clasped hands clenching and relaxing from one moment to the next for some reason, as if she was releasing stress, or something similar.
…
(I love you~ I'll be back as soon as I can, because I don't like being away from you for a second~)
(Nn~ I love you more, my precious dovey~ I miss you already~ I wish I could be with you~ Ugh… I have to go… Goodbye, my love… Good luck…)
(Good luck too~ Talk to me whenever you want and I'll make all the time necessary~ Goodbye, I love you~)
(Of course, love~ Goodbye~ I love you so much more~ Fufu~)
And with that, the [Message] was cut off, and Dont lost her dazed smile as she got out of bed.
She looked at the door for a few long seconds, and lay back down.
Only instead of acting like a lovesick teenager on the phone with her beloved, she now moved back and forth in frustration across the white bed.
"WAH! MY DOVEY!" She cried as she already missed her Angel.
The Demon Queen stopped after a few moments, and pressed her nose against the Paladin's pillow, deeply inhaling the scent of her precious Angel. She was thankful that the latter liked to sleep a lot, even though biologically she didn't need it, she was basically a bit lazy, but that also made her cute.
After a few more seconds of that, she decided that it was enough. That she had to leave wasn't an excuse. They literally had a lot of work to do. After all, right now, she was technically queen of 2 things, and empress as well.
She got out of bed, and quickly left the room that was previously only and solely Black Abyss's. Next to the marble desk, was Haagenti, one of Titania's Maids, who was currently level 57 if Dont remembered correctly. All thanks to the absurd amounts of corpses that came with the Baharuth catastrophe. And well, let's not lie, with the Holy Kingdom's catastrophe.
She was a cute girl with short black hair, crimson eyes, and upturned horns of the same shade. Her maid outfit was quite lewd, with a red ribbon on her neck, but a window showing the inside of her ample chest, with a tattoo between both breasts. There was another window right on her belly, and her white underwear could barely be seen, although her white stockings could be seen. Additionally, she had two red bat wings, a long red tail, and a belt with a keychain attached.
{Maid Haagenti PNG}
"Your Majesty~ Are you ready to go~?" The cute maid asked with a cheerful smile.
Dont looked at her for a second, still trying to process that she had to be away from her dove for so long, and smiled anyway.
"Of course~ Come on~ Betelgeuse said he managed to find several corpses for you~" The Demon Queen smiled as she started walking towards the exit.
"F-For me? I-It is very, very kind of you, my Queen, but I think I don't deserve it…" The maid took on a more timid tone, because for them, they could work and do anything, and they wouldn't need any reward. Serving the Supreme Ladies was their reward, anything beyond that was… Maybe too much for them.
"Nonsense~ The mere fact that you are accompanying me to a place outside of Titania such as that place is worthy enough to reward you~ And even then, that is not really a reward as such either… It mainly serves to enhance Titania's strength… Hm… So~ If you have something you want to ask for as a reward~ Just say it~" Dont smiled at the maid as she finally opened the door, being greeted by two of the King's Royal Guards, summoned by Superbia permanently.
Suddenly, a light sound, like a feather falling, rang out a meter to Dont's side.
"My Queen. I have personally instructed a series of 24 Hanzos to keep you safe. Please take them." The powerful man was the best assassin Titania currently had in its ranks, and behind him, 24 shadows appeared that formed into humanoid bodies, kneeling before her.
The Shooter blinked as she saw her beloved's NPC, Achernar, kneeling in front of her out of nowhere.
"U-Umu… T-Thank you, Achernar~ But I don't think I'll need that many Hanzos… About 5 will be fine… Outside of that, I need more Demonic units, or close enough to it that nothing is going on where I'm going…" The Demon Queen sweatdropped as she looked at the 24 level 80 NPCs and the level 100 Commander. Especially when she saw that the 24 Hanzos seemed to fall into absolute depression, then looked at each other almost with defiance and determination…
Achernar, on the other hand, seemed to have his world falling apart.
"My Queen!" The Dragonoid slammed his head against the ground, though not hard enough to damage it, putting himself in a supplicating position, causing Dont to nearly jump back. "These Hanzos will be able to protect you greatly! Considering what has happened when the Supremes have stepped out from Titania's absolute protection, I wish with all my heart for my subordinates to take care of the Supremes!" Achernar said, raising his head and looking with a small tear at Dont.
"Umu…" Dont made a doubtful face… But then she went over Achernar's words, which made her think that… Certainly, every time Dont or Black stepped out of Titania, they ended up in quite a dire situation in the end…
Dont's clash with those World Item bearers; the Deep Darkness Dragon Lord; the first encounter with Riku; Katze's Demonic Massacre… And the most recent situation, the Holy Kingdom's Leviathan.
Dont was already brutally worried, as was most of Titania, about Black Abyss, who only had Alicia as a bodyguard, plus a few Shadow Devils, two Hanzos, and the full careful surveillance of Eyesight herself.
"My Queen!" Another voice rang out from above, and looking up from one of the Palace floors, Alucard lunged.
He landed right next to Achernar, for some reason, in the same position as him…
"I have prepared an army of 750 soldiers ready to travel with you and protect you from anything! It's very showy, but effective!" … Another droplet fell from the Demon Queen's forehead, and although she understood the Commanders' concern, perhaps they were going a bit too far… She couldn't possibly take 750 soldiers…
"Er… I'll take Achernar's proposal… On the other hand, Alucard… Er… I think 750 is a bit excessive for an operation of this kind… Besides, I have Betelgeuse with me along with the countless permanent Demons over there and the Mercenaries already selected… And I won't be going alone either. Bachelory will go with me in the form of Ghøst…" Dont muttered as she finally decided.
Alucard looked at Dont and nodded, as they both stood up after Dont motioned for them to do so with her hand.
"It's fine, my Lady, excuse my actions… It's just that… Sometimes I wish I could do more to protect you from all the evil in this world… Sometimes I wish only Titania existed so nothing could threaten you." Alucard exclaimed, already upright and as he always was.
Dont stared at the knight, and let out a slight, amused laugh.
"Oh, Alucard~ I appreciate that you think that~ But your wishes are unnecessary~" Dont assured, confusing the Commander. "Titania is a paradise~ An Eden~ And it was literally built and shaped to be a fortress~ Titania always functioned only to protect the guild from any threat~ From any evil~" The Demon Queen hummed, glad to praise her beloved guild. "So don't worry~ I'm protected enough~ And in any case, not only do I have Bachelory with me, but Eyesight's subordinates will be constantly watching me in case something happens~ And myself or Bachelory can call them if that's the case too~" Dont clarified, seeking to reassure the knight.
Alucard looked at her somewhat doubtfully, but then smiled.
"It's fine, my Lady." He said calmly, stepping aside with Achernar, who pointed at 5 of the 24 hanzos, who nodded, disappearing from common sight.
Well, 5 of them would be fine really, she supposed that security like this would allow her to endure almost anything, so she could rest easy with it.
"Don't worry~" She reassured the NPC duo. "Now, as long as Black Abyss, Bachelory, and I are not around, you, Alucard, will be in charge of Titania. Superbia is in Deorum Regnum after all, dealing with the Anti-Komodo Alliance's affairs. And there is no one better than you to lead Titania in our absence." Dont said quite seriously, before smiling gently. "I know you will do well~ Both Black Abyss and I trust you~ Alucard~"
The knight smiled and placed a hand on his chest before bowing towards the Supreme.
"I will not let you down. Have a safe journey, My Queen." The knight exclaimed calmly, with a clear happy tone.
"Thank you~ See you later~" The Demon Queen smiled, before turning around quite cheerfully and satisfied.
She didn't lie at all. She really trusted Alucard~
The only problem, was how tedious it was to do this whole 'Komodo Empire' plan.
…
"I don't think you should go, Zalazilkalia." The deep voice came from the massive Dragon covered in precious jewels, more specifically, diamonds.
"I can't 'not go'. And anyway, Tsaindorcus will go, and the other True Ones will always be ready to appear. I know I'm not the strongest, but at least I can survive." He himself, Zalazilkalia Nahaeunt, also known as the Wyrm Dragon Lord, sighed as he was now a much smaller being than he normally was.
A humanoid figure covered in metal plates all over his body, with a long draconic tail, a helmet of the same nature, with a golden glow in his eyes and mouth, and a long sword at his waist. Additionally, he had a greenish cloth on his crotch, as well as shoulder pads as shields.
{Wyrm Dragon Lord Armor PNG}
"It's fine by me. I don't think you should try to fight the Komodo Demon itself, but you would be useful against the Demons, leading the Council's army. After all, you are stronger than the average of all living beings in this world." The Dragon with dark scales, but as reflective as a crystal, exclaimed. His tone was serious, but kind at the same time.
"What was the reason for this discussion in the first place?" On the other hand, the 4th present muttered disinterestedly. One covered in dark blue, sharp scales, with an elegant body and a bunch of twisted scales surrounding a hole in its chest, which led to a sort of purple orb surrounded by golden rings.
{Blue Sky Dragon Lord PONG}
Suveria Myronsilk, the Blue Sky Dragon Lord, the strongest of those present, earned the glare of the other 3 councilors.
"Suveria, if you don't want to help, then you are free to leave. It is Tsaindorcus you will have to discuss with later." Diamante snorted as he leaned back in his massive 'chair'.
Blue Sky, hearing the name, just sighed irritably, and looked towards Wyrm.
"And why don't the 4 of us go together again?" He asked now wanting to have an excuse to destroy something at least.
"Because we can't leave the country without guidance or leaders at all. Tsaindorcus himself will go to the front lines, and if he goes, then we have no place there. Zalazilkalia is the most capable of surviving and commanding Argland's forces against the Demons of us. I don't even have a humanoid form." Diamante explained exasperatedly, with Obsidian just rolling his eyes at Blue Sky's attitude.
"Hopefully, it will be the end of the Demons that have been harassing different countries for almost a year. And if possible, and it is there as many believe, the end of the Komodo Demon. Well, if I read the reports correctly, the joint attack will be with one of the special divisions of the Slane Theocracy as allies, and with it, the Saint of Deorum Regnum, Titania, and her partner, Elise. Attacking from three different directions, nothing could come out alive. With one exception." Obsidian explained, looking at Blue Sky.
"A Player…" He exclaimed. The only possibility for the Komodo Demon to come out alive is if it were that, a 'Player'. And this attack would serve as insurance towards that theory, since nothing known alive could survive a planned attack like this, possibly not even Tsaindorcus would do so if he were the target of such a plan. Of course, the latter considering that the force attacking Tsaindorcus includes a being as strong as him. It was a pity that the Deep Darkness Dragon Lord wasn't around to hear about this, he used to quite enjoy, supposedly, the deaths of those entities called 'Players'. But this time they would avenge him, which was surely the Komodo who caused his death.
"Exactly. So, in the worst case, I will be the only serious casualty on the Council's side, which leaves you 3, and surely Tsaindorcus, safe to rule the council. And since I am the weakest, my loss wouldn't be too big of a blow either." The Dragon Lord explained in humanoid form as he looked up at the ceiling. "Well, with that said, I'm leaving." He muttered, starting to turn around.
"Zalazilkalia." Blue Sky called out, causing the Wyrm to look at him. "… Ha… Be careful." He said with a sigh. Even though he was quite arrogant, Suveria still had his camaraderie for his fellow Dragon Lords. He wasn't like Cure Elim. Even though he didn't treat them very kindly, he still had an appreciation for his fellow councilors.
"... Thank you, Suveria. I hope to see you again." The Wyrm Dragon Lord nodded, before finally leaving the Council room.
Obsidian watched Zalazilkalia leave until he was out of sight in the hallways, then looked at his remaining companions in the room.
"Hm… It's clear that we can't hold back, surely 'he' didn't do it, and yet he still didn't succeed. How are you doing in terms of 'Souls'?" He seriously asked, his scales slightly dulling, showing his mood, making them notice that he was almost angry for having to resort to 'that'.
Blue Sky and Diamond looked at each other, before looking back at Obsidian. Diamond sighed while Blue Sky smiled, showing his fierce teeth.
