"Then..." Dont scratched his head as he looked at the desolate wasteland of ashes, soot, and radiation.
"Verily, the entirety of Baharuth Empire's realm is now encompassed by Radiation and Negative Energy, my Queen, thusly hath several Undead, unto the level of 30, begun to manifest across the land." Bachelory explained.
They were the only ones present in what had once been the Empire, ignoring the Undead that could be seen in the distance, which from what he was seeing, were nothing more than Zombies and Skeletons for the moment.
There was no maid, as the level of environmental damage in the area as a result of the... Cleansing that Dont and Black Abyss did, would be enough to kill a level 50 that was not immune or resistant to poison/radiation or negative energy.
"Hmm... Send Alicia and several high-level Necromancers to control the Undead. Also bring the Undead, Golems, and POP Constructs, along with several creatures resistant to radiation and negative energy to start rebuilding. Send Wanda and others to start cleaning up the radiation and bring life back." Dont explained to Bachelory, who was already jotting down all the orders.
After all, while before they wanted to make Tob and at least Carne their 'initial nation' as Titania, which was originally just an idea to develop, now they literally had an entire empty country thanks to them. And as good conquerors, they would come to claim the territory.
"Bring creatures that can negate divination to hide the entire project from prying eyes, and put tank units to protect them. Give them [Message] scrolls so they can report any problems. And well, I had already told you the rest before."
"Aye, my queen!" Bachelory gave a deep bow.
"Also look for magical items that have survived the cleansing with tracking units. If they were able to survive my [Nuclear Explosion] and Black Abyss's [Solar Blast], then they are of interest."
"It shall be accomplished, my Queen. I shall personally undertake the task of scrutinizing these artifacts to furnish a comprehensive dossier, along with the pertinent item. How shall we proceed if any should dare to venture forth?"
"Hmm... Throw Undead up to level 50 at them. If they survive, report to me or Black Abyss immediately."
"Indeed, my queen." Bachelory recorded Dont's orders in his mind as if they were sacred scriptures, while she hummed cheerfully.
"Well~ With this, our first step to rebelling against the world officially will be carried out~" Dont hummed again. Although she couldn't help but feel some unease at the plan being brutally changed by this...
…
"... I can't see anything here..." His friend's deep voice worried her, after all, if he sounded concerned, it was a matter of gravity.
"... What are the chances that it was another Dragon Lord?" She asked.
"Low... It's already a coincidence that the Komodo Demon withdrew at the same time the Baharuth Empire was destroyed. And if it were one of the others, they wouldn't bother hiding their presence or actions... Unless Cure Elim has developed a new spell and tested it..." Tsaindorcus sighed, really hoping it was the last option. The problem was that he doubted that... Guy had been experimenting with explosive spells among all things.
Her longtime friend, Rigrit, accompanied him with a tired sigh.
"... Do you think you can defeat the Komodo Demon if it was him?" She asked somewhat concerned, sitting on one of the steps.
"... I don't know... At least not with the armor. Our battle... Even with the distraction of Azuth and the close support of Titania, we couldn't really defeat him. And supposedly it gets stronger after each battle..." He growled.
The chances of the Komodo Demon being a Player were lower than before, but still couldn't be ruled out. The Greed Kings were also Players, and acted kind of similarly to the Demon... And then there were beings like the Demon Gods...
The memories of the Greed Kings gave him a slight chill, wishing that, at least, it was just one Player, instead of a group of them.
On the other hand, Titania didn't seem to be a Player. At least not a dangerous one. She was powerful, yes. And if she really had a Talent, then it was a powerful one, really powerful, and it showed that she wasn't native to the world of Players, Yggdrasil, but to this world.
The Remote Viewing Mirror trembled in its static, before it disappeared, showing the burnt and poisonous wasteland that was once the capital of the human empire.
That Demon... If it was it, it had the firepower to destroy a country on its own...
But if it had been another Player... It was just as worrying, because in both cases, he was dealing with something minimally as strong as a Demon God. And he had verified for himself that it was much stronger than one.
Rigrit sighed again, almost as if she was complaining about her old age.
"I'm too old for this... What are you going to do?"
"... I don't have evidence that there are Players really. So I can't just call the rest of the Dragon Lords... It could reveal my true self to Titania, and plan together with her and other humans and strong beings like that girl and Azuth to defeat the Komodo Demon..." The Platinum Dragon Lord looked to the side, looking at the sword floating on a pedestal...
He shook his thoughts. He wasn't going to take it out of here. Never.
"For now, I'll just be attentive to any movement of the Komodo Demon. Surely its lurking around Baharuth, now that its isolated and devoid of life altogether."
"Well then... I guess I'll have to pay a visit to the girls." Rigrit smiled with a tired sigh, her wrinkles giving her the look of a gentle and tired old woman, despite how strong she was.
"Mm. Of course... Maybe I can negotiate with Brightness to help me?... I could offer him some woman or something... Do you think that 'Nyx' would be willing to have children with Brightness? His humanoid form is quite attractive."
Rigrit frowned at Tsaindorcus and gave him a light slap on one of his huge scales, as if she were scolding him.
Platinum just let out a slight laugh at the reprimand.
...
"Today, we thank the Gods that human beings like us are still alive." The High Pontiff sang in praise to the statues of the Six Great Gods after his routine of meticulously cleaning the entire room together with the Cardinals.
""Therefore, we offer our gratitude."" They said in unison.
After cleaning themselves from the arduous task, they took a seat at the round table.
"So, let's start the meeting." Said the Pontiff, ushering in the moment when, regardless of rank, position, or faith priority, all were equal.
It didn't matter if the Pontiff had greater authority than the others, it didn't matter that the Wind Cardinal worshipped Surshana over Alah Alaf.
Right now, they were all just humans.
And one of the Cardinals, the Earth Cardinal, Raymond Zarg Lauransan, spoke first.
"Our first topic of concern... Is the obvious..." He said grimly. Although if someone external to him heard this, they would look at him with a neutral face for how useless the statement was in itself.
"We should have taken immediate action against that Demon instead of sheltering ourselves..." The Wind Cardinal, Dominic Ihre Partouche, growled, clenching his fists in frustration.
"However... For having easily brushed off the captain of the Black Scripture, resisted the divine relic, killed Lady Kaire and Cedran... The best we could have done would have been to send Certain Death, but that would leave a huge security vacuum in the country." The only woman in the room, the Fire Cardinal, Berenice Nagua Santini, patiently explained to Dominic, or rather to everyone present, which they had to accept.
"But we could have withdrawn troops from the Elf Forest along with the Holocaust Scripture and sent the entire Black Scripture and its extra seat... The risk of being attacked without the Black Scripture or Certain Death would have been acceptable compared to leaving that... Demon to strengthen and cause such destruction..." The Darkness Cardinal, Maximilian Oreio Lagier, argued in favor of Dominic.
"Do you say we could have avoided the attack on the Kingdom's capital and the complete destruction of Baharuth?"
"With Certain Death supported by the Black Scripture, I doubt the Komodo Demon could have won."
"However, it survived two direct encounters with the new adamantite adventurer, Titania. And the second one was with the support of Red Drop's leader, Azuth Aindra. And according to the intelligence gathered from Titania's statements, that monster becomes stronger and stronger each time." The Water Cardinal, Zinedine Delan Guelfi, mentioned.
"Any news from the Astrologer of the Thousand Miles?"
"... She's still recovering..."
Silence flooded the room stiflingly.
After all, their best espionage card had been watching over the Solar Scripture. However, something obstructed her Divination. And according to her companions, she wrote that a woman who matched the characteristics of the merchant Nyx Morgause, and a woman who looked a lot like the adventurer Titania, protected the Warrior Captain and overwhelmingly defeated the Solar Scripture alongside the Dominion Authority.
Before the Astrologer's room exploded in red flames that couldn't be extinguished...
And right now, her state was a coma that didn't seem close to leaving, where severe wounds that couldn't be healed covered her from head to toe.
Thus, they lost an entire Scripture, and their best espionage source...
From there, and with all the information they could gather from Re-Estize, they could only form theories as to why the 'weak' merchant, Nyx Morgause, and the then non-adventurer, Titania, had attacked the Solar Scripture, and were able to defeat it.
... They were even able to resist a level 7 spell...
However, they attributed it to the adventurer, as according to Komodo's attack reports, Titania had a powerful Talent that made her incredibly strong and gave her incredible defensive and holy abilities.
They quickly attributed Titania's Talent and power to a Lost Kin of the Gods lost in the years when the Gods could have spread their blood before and during the foundation of the Theocracy.
Therefore, they would go recruit Titania and her companion. Elise, whom no one could say where she came from, to join the Black Scripture to fill the now empty seats.
They even delayed the recruitment of two other members of the Black Scripture, with the exception of the new implementation, to fit those two in the same one.
"In that case, we don't have many options..." The pontiff sighed. "The territory of the Empire has become a field of poison and fire, with the same spreading in a low measure to border towns."
"The priests are trying to purify the poison, but they can't... So Wind Mages were used to push it away as best they can." Dominic mentioned to the pontiff's relief.
"There's still the problem of the Komodo Demon and its ability to destroy the Empire even with Fluder Paradyne there in a single night." Yvon Jasna Delacroix, the Light Cardinal, spoke for the first time.
"Certainly... Even Seats 3, 4, and 11 were only close to his level or equal..."
"Or maybe it escaped by teleportation before being defeated."
The theory wasn't wrong, and it was a rather positive thought for the sake of humanity. If they could bring him to the Theocracy...
"... In the worst case scenario... We'll have to talk to 'Him'." Raymond sighed. And as a former member of the Black Scripture, his words weren't just any nonsense.
Silence overwhelmed the room.
"T-That would be...!" Dominic was about to attack, but the looks of the rest of the Cardinals restrained him. After all, even he had to admit that it seemed to be the only option.
"... Do you think the Platinum Dragon Lord would be willing to listen to us?"
"If he wanted us dead, we would already be. Even with Zesshi, the collateral damage of the fight would be catastrophic for the Theocracy, and it would be a miracle if the fortress of the Gods didn't collapse after that." The pontiff groaned heavily.
"Besides, he was one of the 13 Heroes disguised 200 years ago. And he declared himself a 'protector of the world'. So it's possible that he's open to working together to deal with this threat. I doubt he hasn't tried to fight the Komodo Demon."
"Maybe that's what caused the destruction of Baharuth in the first place." Yvon spoke again, with an interesting theory. "They fought after Titania weakened it, but the battle was so powerful that it destroyed the Empire as collateral damage..."
"And while that could have ended with Komodo's death... It would be foolish to rely on that possibility." Raymond murmured.
"Personally, I think it doesn't make much sense to theorize right now. The important thing is the facts. We must raise the level of national defense." Said Zinedine, really wanting to stop assuming things. The loss of the Astrologer hit him hard.
The complaint was taken into account, and it was true, so some more discussions and ideas were released until they moved on to the next topic.
…
Black Abyss sighed.
Not only was she underground, but after passing through that abandoned city the Hanzos found, they had to go investigate the noises. Cristofer was the one she sent to investigate those noises.
Gondo Firebeard, he was the culprit. Like the typical Dwarf, he was mining at the time, and although he was somewhat surprised by the appearance of an Orc in this place, his good attitude and kindness allowed him to get a good guide to a city populated in this underground.
From what the Dwarf had been telling, the current capital city, Feo Jera, was the current capital, highly guarded and having already resisted a great number of attacks by those creatures, and even the city they had visited, including the one that used to be their capital, Feo Berkana, and another city, had been taken by that species they had spoken of, Quagoa or something like that, so this spoke well of how resilient these Dwarves could be.
And although they had to walk many kilometers, they were already in front of a kind of fortress built entirely of stone.
They had already waited for about 30 minutes perhaps, but she supposed they would be under siege again by those Quagoa, so she had no problem waiting a little longer.
But it wasn't long before a Dwarf appeared in one of the high windows, unlike the others, this one had a more reddish beard, well, they were all almost the same, so at least she could differentiate them by the beards...
He looked out the window at the whole group, carefully observing Bulldoger, Cristofer, and Powerful Bill, although he knew he shouldn't address them, but the tall, shining woman, dressed in extremely expensive clothes, Black Abyss•White Flower.
"I am the General of the Dwarf Army."
He introduced himself, to which Black Abyss took a few steps forward, in a gallant manner she took with two fingers a part of the long skirt of her dress, giving a slight bow, making the men behind her almost clench their fists.
"My name is Black Abyss•White Flower~ I am one of the Supremes of G.O.D.S. Today I am here as an emissary of the new Kingdom of G.O.D.S."
The present, both their own and Dwarves, were surprised that she said these things. The Dwarves for not knowing what she was talking about, and her servants for seeing her say such information so easily... But she must have a plan if she said such things.
It was in the blood of the Supreme Lords to transcend the minds of simple servants like them.
"I see... It's not to be rude, Lady Black Abyss•White Flower, but I am unaware of such Kingdom." The general exclaimed, causing a small laugh to come out of Black Abyss.
"It's normal~ It has just been formed, a kingdom with 2 Players as its Gods~" Black Abyss exclaimed, surprising Bulldoger and company even more by how she was releasing that information.
But the Dwarves looked nothing more than confused.
"Oh~? Do you not know the term Players~? Don't make too many ideas, it's just a way of saying~ But as an Emissary, I am here for no other reason than to make agreements with the Kingdom of the Dwarves~" The Paladin said with a bright smile, now sounding more logical to the Dwarves in that small fort.
"I see... I would love to welcome you, but at this mome-"
"You have been at war with the Quagoa for some time~ I have learned of the situation, and I believe we can come to good agreements together~"
...
Black Abyss nodded her head, watching the metal door close, while she vaguely listened to the things the Dwarf General told her.
Right now they were already inside the capital, the soldiers of Titania who accompanied her were directed by Cristofer McGorilla to join the resistance against the Quagoa.
There was a time when there was only silence on her part, while Bulldoger and Powerful Bill debated the best way to defend her in this situation if something went wrong, even listening to Zenberu's proposals. And in her silence, she had received a [Message] from Cristofer.
(My Lady. The Quagoa were successfully driven away, there were no casualties.) The Ogre explained with some excitement in his voice.
(Well done, come back with me once you secure the place.) Black Abyss replied.
In the end, it didn't seem like a dangerous place for them, the General of the Dwarves didn't know what a Player was, nor did he recognize her Nickname or the name of G.O.D.S, so he could leave himself in peace knowing that, in most probabilities, there was no player here, and if that were the case, she still had Cristofer, Bill, and Bulldoger with her to fight.
The metal door was opened and tapped three times, catching Black Abyss's attention.
"Sorry for the delay. Please follow me." A Dwarf in armor said to the present, everyone waited for Black Abyss to stand up first, doing the same after her, who walked towards the Dwarf.
The Dwarf continued the path behind the metal door, where there was another larger one.
"The Emissary of the Kingdom of Gods is present." The Dwarf said before opening the double door completely.
Black Abyss entered, seeing the council composed of 8 men of that race, the General who had received her sitting at the head of the table.
Black Abyss continued forward, her height as well as that of her companions imposing quite a bit of tension on those present.
"Emissary, we appreciate your visit. Please, take a seat." One of them said to Black Abyss, who accepted with a smile, sitting on the padded box at her side, on the other end of the table, just like her guards sat on the padded boxes behind her.
"We have heard from the General about your very surprising visit. Being an Emissary, you come to establish relations, correct?" Black Abyss was asked, to which she responded fluently.
"That's right~ The Kingdom I form is new, but powerful, as well as rich in many things, one of them is food, something that must be scarce in your Kingdom not only because of the area where you live but because of the constant state of war you are having." Black Abyss said, and her words clearly hit the mark with each one of them.
"And what does your kingdom want in return?"
"Minerals, of course. Exclusive access to everything produced by your kingdom~"
The present were surprised by this statement, 'Exclusive access' was a nice way of asking them to become vassals of that Kingdom of Gods... But Black Abyss continued before any of them spoke.
"In exchange for all that, we offer you absolute protection against any danger, we will even end the Quagoa~ What if I go and recover Feo Berkana today itself as part of the treaty~?"
…
"As you can see, my queen, air purification is already quite advanced. We have also recovered all the corpses within a radius of 10 kilometers, and at least parts of them, in a trench not too far away." The calm and mysterious voice pierced through the cracked white mask of a face with nothing but a black cross on the forehead.
"Umu~ Good job, SatinMan~" Dont nodded while, in fact, feeling no radiation or heat bothering her defenses.
The Druids and others were doing a good job. She could see the vegetation they had grown to begin 'reforesting' the area.
It had been quite barren with the Empire due to its expansion and other factors even before it became a radioactive wasteland, and the nuclear cleanup Dont and Black Abyss did didn't help the plants much, so it was a good change of scenery.
She smiled widely as she watched them begin to build the first city.
She was sure that, under her direction, it would take years to even achieve half of what Arwintar once was, as she knew nothing about construction or civil organization. However, that's what SatinMan was for.
The being of 1.6 meters, hunched like a hunchback, with a white mask, large heaps of black fabric hiding his body, although you could see vines where his neck would be, and silver rings below where his jaw would be, as well as an incense lamp hanging from his tunics on his left hip, releasing black and unpleasant smoke.
{SatinMan PNG]
SatinMan was a level 56 Specter, yet with a karma of 300. And as far as Titania's organization was concerned, he was an expert architect.
That's why he had been very happy lately, filled with orders and requests from his ladies.
Thanks to SatinMan and the resources they were given access to, as well as the help of Merlin, Alicia, Wanda, and Cosmo, the 10 kilometers from Arwintar were already in the process of being 'urbanized.'
Of course, the city wouldn't have a diameter of 10 kilometers, but the roads were already laid out, and other planned locations as well.
First, a wall and a palace would be erected before starting to build houses and other institutions to bring civilians from Titania to populate it.
Of course, there were also teams set up to eliminate or control the Undead in the area. It would be quite bothersome to deal with them later, and they weren't really strong. They only encountered a couple of Death Knights, a Soul Devourer, three Death Chevaliers, and a Death Warrior. All ranging around levels 30-40 as expected.
However, Dont had to intervene when a team of level 40 Angels was wiped out.
They were summons, so it wasn't a waste, but the queen didn't want to draw conclusions and hurried there along with Alucard.
Finding something similar to an Overlord almost scared Dont to death, as an Overlord typically ranged between levels 80 and 100 more or less. Of course, it could be closer to levels 50-60 if calculated correctly, but still, Dont didn't wait and fired a shot with level 10 divine energy.
To her disappointment and relief, the Undead died instantly.
She associated it with something from this New World. Perhaps there was a variant of Undead that resembled an Overlord but remained weak. Or the Overlord race could be achieved earlier despite being so weak.
So she simply reinforced the teams, and that was it. Maybe it was a Lich attracted by the negative energy, and that was all.
She sighed at the memory, causing SatinMan to freeze as he interrupted his report.
"E-Ehem, ignore that, SatinMan. I find all your proposals wonderful~" She smiled reassuringly. The Specter seemed to relax noticeably.
"T-Thank you, my queen. In that case, I would like to request some extra manpower from Gandolfo."
"Of course~ Ask for as much as you want~ You can also take some Golems and Undead or Titania's POPs if you wish. You could also ask for help from Superbia. Tell Bachelory what you need, and it will be delivered to you~"
"Of course, my queen. In that case... I will give a list to the Prime Minister soon." He said with a bow and a satisfied, grateful tone.
And something caught Dont's attention.
It was a simple thing. A reflection of light on a somewhat oxidized gold plate. Surely from the heat and radiation that had been present recently.
Dont tilted her head to one side.
"Is that...?" She asked playfully, approaching the rotted and charred skeleton covered in some rusted gold decorations and with noticeable signs of having melted and fused with the fragile bone for some time.
Dont chuckled as she leaned in to get a better look at the almost disintegrated skeleton among the pile of corpses in the huge and nearly overflowing trench.
"Well~ If it isn't the esteemed Emperor Jircniv Rune Farlord El Nix~" She chuckled. "What a surprise to find you here~ And in such a deplorable state~ And worthy of someone as foolish as you~" She spat with more amusement.
After all, he was the idiot who sent the mercenary group to invade HER HOME.
Although it was surprising that his skeleton remained in such good condition despite being one of the closest to the initial explosion point.
SatinMan only watched silently from the side.
He respected the dead, for he was one, and while he didn't see the humans who invaded Titania as trash and inferior beings, he still held contempt for them regardless of who they were.
And if Baharuth was destroyed, as much as he apologized to the innocents, the blame ultimately fell on its ruler, who caused such an invasion of Titania to happen in the first place.
Therefore, SatinMan couldn't help but feel pure hatred for the corpse, even though it made no sense to hate a dead person. Of course, if it were an intelligent Undead, it could have some level of logic, but that wasn't the case.
"However~ Reviving you would be a waste~ And I don't even think you could withstand something like [Raise Dead] at all~ And I don't feel like having someone cast [True Resurrection] on you either~" Titania's Queen hummed. Before smiling widely. "Or well~ Let's give you a more appropriate use~ [Order Lesser-Mid Demon: Infernal Archeologist]" She pointed her finger at him.
As with all her demonic summons, a pentagram appeared beneath the sorry state skeleton.
The pentagram burst into flames as the skeleton did too.
And Dont's summon appeared.
"Your Majesty." The Demon bowed with a reverence.
The Infernal Archeologist, a being about 1.8 meters tall, was dressed in red robes that trailed along the ground under a light armor of steel with red runes, hanging from a black metal collar with a red gem in the middle. Although the golden plates around the neck of the Infernal Archeologist were new, which made Dont think.
He had shoulder pads like metal surrounding black boar horns, above the dusty blue and yellow embroidered tunics over the other tunic.
His hands were covered in red leather, with golden rings that wouldn't normally be there. In one hand, he held a black staff, with the skull of a red Demon glowing with red and almost electric energy at the top.
His face was covered by a gold helmet with red runes, being somewhat unique, covering his entire head, but the vague crown of gold plates trying to imitate a laurel wreath was also new.
"I live to serve, Your Majesty. What is your will?" Asked the Archeologist.
"Umu... Do you remember anything before I summoned you?" Curious. She hadn't experimented much with Infernal Archeologists. Although it's not like they were strong enough for Dont to bother really.
The Archeologist seemed to sink into his thoughts for a moment.
"... I have no memories at all, Your Majesty." He finally responded.
"I see... Well... Umu... What to do with you now...?" She murmured. After all, it would be a waste to have him summon Demons into corpses.
As a level 34 summon, no matter how much of a Demonologist he was, he could only summon Demons below level 20 in addition to his 'trump card.'
He also wasn't especially strong enough to leave him protecting any area. At most, for administration, considering he was quite intelligent according to his lore.
Again, she found it curious that his appearance 'merged' with Jircniv in a certain aspect. At least in jewelry, having gold where Jircniv had had decorations on the matter, as well as transferring his 'blonde hair' to the helmet that would normally be made of black metal.
{Infernal Archeologist PNG}
But even having to see him for even a moment, reminding her of the emperor if she put him in charge of administration... And she already had too many entities to give them that duty, and they were more important than the Archeologist...
However, she could use him for an experiment. Something she hadn't tried before. Although her enthusiasm for this experiment was minimal.
"Umu, why don't you go and try to see if you can gain experience?" It was more of a question to herself than an order. She took a random map of the area from her inventory and tossed it to the Archeologist. "Here, take a map."
The Demon took the map carefully and kneeled deeply to Dont.
"Of course, Your Majesty. I assure you I will not fail."
"Sure, sure." Dont dismissed, pointing at another corpse. "[Order Lesser-Mid Demon: Infernal Protector]"
The great Demon in heavy armor rose from his summoning circle, roaring powerfully as he awaited orders.
"Go and protect the Archeologist if anything gets out of his control and see if you can gain experience too. Obey all orders of the Infernal Archeologist as long as they don't contradict the first two orders. You are free to act after that. Oh, and both of you must refer to my existence as 'the Komodo Demon' outside of your thoughts. I am the 'legendary Komodo Demon' and so on." She said with a disdainful tone towards the duo. She didn't have much expectation for them, and she wanted to leave the matter aside.
The Protector grunted affirmatively as he turned towards the Archeologist.
"I greatly appreciate your concern for this servant, Your Majesty." The Archeologist bowed again.
Dont just waved a hand before turning around and going back to her business with SatinMan. She didn't want to keep seeing that thing. It reminded her of that emperor.
...
"My Lady... Sending Cristofer..." Bulldoger said somewhat uncertainly to Black Abyss.
"Relax~ Cristofer will deal with those things in no time. Plus, if they're Dragons, then we'll be enough, especially since I'm basically a Dragon slayer~ Just without the class..." She said with a proud smile, as she was the only one in the entire guild, if not the server, who had soloed a Boss of an Event, which was a quite powerful Dragon. "So don't worry about encountering something strong, he'll be back in no time~" She said, listening to the destruction behind them, in the distance.
If anyone was effective at causing destruction, it was Cristofer McGorilla, and he was doing well with his task.
Moreover, even with the difference in numbers, no one could even scratch his clothes a bit.
Therefore, Black Abyss entered alongside Bulldoger and Powerful Bill, guided by Gondo to the great fortress that was the castle of Feo Berkana.
To reach the throne room, Gondo guided Black Abyss through the wide corridors of polished rock.
And in the middle of the grand hallway, a gigantic double metal door was displayed.
"Lady Black Abyss, here it is." Gondo said somewhat hesitantly, after all, he was possibly in the most dangerous place in the entire underground beneath the mountains.
"Good~ Bill, stay with Gondo at the door, in case any Dragon attacks him." She ordered.
"As you command, Lady Black Abyss." The pale man said, bowing to his Goddess. She took a few steps forward, touching the doors with her hands and starting to push them, opening them with ease.
...
"... Wah, for some reason, I feel like things are going to get crazy..." Dont shivered as she sat in her office.
However, she just sighed before looking to her side, seeing 'Alloces' and 'Caim'. The two new servants of Titania thanks to Dont's contribution.
In fact, ironically, they were the two strongest servants. 'Caim' being level 30-40, and 'Alloces' being 40-50. Compared to any other Titania's servant, which were all level 1, including probably 'Balam', at least these two would serve as protection for the servants, even if minimally, in addition to Maria, who could crush the duo with one hand and effortlessly if anything happened.
And they were nothing more and nothing less than the formerly known as Edstrom, the Sword Dancer or something like that, and Clementine, a former member of the Black Scripture even before being captured.
What made the pair of women so obediently aside, looking at her with adoration and expectation of being ordered? Well, simple. They had been lobotomized by [Control Amnesia].
She had them copied and pasted based on the personalities of a couple of servants, to make them loyal and at least useful. The same thing that happened with Balam.
But care had to be taken to finely paint every pothole that would remain in their memories, without keeping them from being able to use their abilities. They would be useless otherwise.
She hummed while looking a bit below 'Alloces''s face, or well, Clementine's.
"Umu... You know~? I've never tried shapeshifting capabilities in... Another style~ Fu~ Come here~ You'll be useful at least~ Anyway, today was a productive day~" The Demon Queen smiled widely as she got up from her chair.
The duo of 'servants' could only tremble excitedly, with their altered memories jumping for joy at the mere fact of having a Supreme Lady looking at them in the slightest.
…
([Okay, my people. This part starts with content that's quite... Sensitive and older-kind, let's say. It's not blood or anything like that, nor really that sexual, but it starts with it. I mainly warn about light 'Futanari' for now. This is important for the plot, so I ask for some tolerance, as this will be one of the few times when it's really necessary. Sorry if it bothers or whatever, and I hope it doesn't make you reconsider this story.])
...
Being such a boring place, Black Abyss felt she needed to breathe the air of her beloved Titania for at least a moment. After all, the Dwarves' issue was more or less covered. Bulldoger would stay a little to cover for Bill and Cristofer while Bill dealt with some diplomacy and nonsense that Black Abyss really didn't believe she could tolerate.
That's why she stepped out of a [Gate] that Eyesight opened for her, directly sending her to Titania.
She took a deep breath with a wide smile, even the air of Titania had no comparison.
She walked through the palace corridors, dressed elegantly, and wanted to show off a bit~ She was the Sun and was dressed so beautifully after all~ Dont had already seen her, but she wanted to show her more in detail how she looked.
It wasn't very often that she dressed like this, and Dont liked dresses, surely she would want to talk about it... And besides, she needed to shake off the boredom for a few more minutes.
It really depended a lot on her when she thought about it~
She walked through the beautiful corridors of the castle toward the double door at the end.
When she grabbed the doorknob, her ears heard two female voices...
"A-Ah~ L-Lady Dont~ Y-You're going to enter me~"
"Oh~ My Lady~ Look at me~ Please~ Ah~"
Black Abyss blinked...
... What was happening in there...?
Black Abyss was confused, she turned the doorknob and opened the door, to which she saw a scene that... Confounded her greatly...
In fact, a dark-skinned woman, whom Black Abyss didn't remember ever seeing, was rubbing against Dont's leg, while another woman... A blonde one that she remembered very well, was lying on her back, with a somewhat hesitant Dont about to penetrate her with... A male member...?
However, Black Abyss's first thought upon seeing the scene... She didn't know what to think. But there was only one entity present that had the benefit of the doubt, and therefore, she targeted Clementine for killing above all else as she practically roared with solar fire.
Her spear appeared in her hand, and she approached behind Clementine, raising the weapon with the intention of thrusting it toward her. Dont undoubtedly saw her, opening her eyes wide.
"W-Wha!? B-Black A-Abyss!?" All her doubt, or any other emotion, disappeared when she saw the Paladin, replaced by confusion and surprise as she grabbed and pulled Clementine to the side, saving her from being stabbed, only to have the tip of Black Abyss's spear almost at her throat.
Dont raised her hands in a show of non-hostility, while she had her usual team cover her naked body.
Black Abyss looked to her side, seeing Clementine, watching trembling and frightened... It was a fear... It wasn't fear of death... It was fear of... Failing? Disappointing...? It was... Like when the NPCs believed they had failed Dont and her...?
She pointed her empty hand toward her, and energy began to appear. SHE WOULD DISAPPEAR HER.
"[Holy Ra-]" She was about to launch. However, her Level 7 magic attack was interrupted by Dont herself.
"Hey, hey, hey! Black Abyss! C-Calm down! W-What are you doing!?" Dont grabbed her hand and lifted it slightly with little force behind it. It wasn't that she cared so much about the woman, just that Black Abyss's own state was...
The Paladin changed the direction of her hand and grabbed Dont by the clothes on her chest, lifting her to her own surprise.
"I should be asking that! Why is she here!? And why were you doing that!?" She roared furiously, even letting out bursts of light between her roar...
... Not even when Black Abyss found out she had been under lies for a long time, had she seen her so angry.
"I-I...! T-They are part of the Second Goetia Project... T-They were turned into servants w-with... [Control Amnesia] after I turned them into heteromorphs... I-I thought you had received a report on how that was going and the fate of those two t-to seek your consent?" Dont blinked, now... Afraid.
And the fact that she didn't even activate any abilities... Showed that she was confused too. And therefore, she didn't want to hurt Black Abyss. She wasn't resisting.
"That didn't include bringing them to Titania! Or that you fuck them! I couldn't care less who you fuck with! BUT NOT IN TITANIA WITH THEM!" The Paladin... Always so friendly and good... Was scarier than Ham when she got angry...
"I-I didn't...! F-Fuck them... A-And I..." Dont hesitated. After all, she wasn't lying...
She was about to engage in intimacy with the pair of women, but... Before doing so, an image of the Paladin came to mind, and doubt gnawed at her for some reason. It prevented her from going further, and she just stood still in front of the blonde for a few minutes...
This is why Black Abyss didn't see the Demon Queen charging at all, not even within Clementine. "B-Black Abyss... I-I..." Dont stuttered. She didn't know what to feel, what to do. W-What was happening? Even as the Demon Queen, she was too shocked to think properly.
Mainly because the Demon Queen inside her didn't even deign to do anything about it, observing with a slight furrowed brow and in silence.
Suddenly, she fell onto the comfortable chair she had been sitting in before Black Abyss lifted her.
She brought her hand to her face, looking very... Worryingly angry and... Disappointed.
"Every time I think you're doing something right, you go and do something bigger than the World Eater!" She growled at Dont, glancing sideways at Clementine with a fury that... Dont didn't know how to contain. Then she looked at the dark-skinned girl, growling in the same way towards her, like a nuclear reactor ready to explode...
Both were kneeling, their foreheads on the ground, trembling...
Tch, they even did the same thing as the NPCs when they were scared of angering one of them...
"B-But I... Black A-Abyss..." Dont stood up and extended a trembling hand towards the Angel... What could she say anyway...?
She rejected her hand, giving her a light tap on it, pointing at her with her finger.
"You are a miserable disappointment." She growled at the Queen of Titania, in a low voice, but with a clear... Disappointment towards her... "I allowed a human from the New World to step on Titania... But this... My patience is not unlimited, and you played with it... You are a damn disappointment, Dont." She spat at her, turning towards the door with heavy footsteps as she practically radiated fury and heat.
"B-Bla-..." And the Demon Queen remained silent as she watched her friend leave... Again...
