Fenelon Academy remains unaltered under the rule of the empire. It functions as a high school where students are trained to serve the empire as valuable assets, including warriors and scientists. Due to having the least of the empire's influence, many Japanese students seek refuge at the academy.
The Academy is a sprawling, futuristic campus that seems to rise up from the ground like a fortress. The outside of the school is made of smooth, silver walls that gleam in the sunlight, adorned with intricate designs and patterns that shift and change as you walk past. The entrance is marked by two towering columns that reach up into the sky, with the school's name emblazoned in bold, silver letters.
The outside grounds of the Academy were meticulously landscaped, perfectly manicured lawns and gardens filled with exotic, mechanical plants that whir and buzz with life. The air is filled with the sound of students' voices as they move between classes all while the clanking of gears and the whirring of engines blending together in a symphony of sound.
The inside, also designed for shaping warriors and scientists alike, is a sight to behold. Entering through the towering glass doors you are greeted by sleek, metallic hallways that seem to stretch on endlessly. The walls are lined with holographic displays showcasing the latest advancements in technology and weaponry.
The classrooms themselves are a marvel of innovation, equipped with state-of-the-art computer systems and virtual reality simulators. Students can immerse themselves in realistic combat scenarios or conduct experiments in cutting-edge laboratories. The air is filled with the hum of machinery and the crackle of energy while students work tirelessly to push the boundaries of what is possible.
In the center of the school lies a grand atrium, a vast space filled with towering statues of great warriors and brilliant scientists from history. The floor is adorned with intricate mosaics depicting scenes of triumph and discovery. It is here that students gather for assemblies and ceremonies, inspired by the legacy of those who came before them.
It was lunchtime and students were scattered throughout the cafeteria, hurrying to grab their meals and snacks. The loud chatter of children echoed through the school, giving the impression that a group of hyenas had entered the premises.
The Cafeteria itself was also a marvel of innovation and efficiency. The students would enter the cafeteria and immediately be greeted by touch-screen kiosks where they can place their orders. The menu is displayed in 3D holographic projections, showcasing a wide variety of healthy and sustainable options.
Once students have placed their orders robotic arms swing into action, quickly preparing and plating the meals with precision and speed. The food is cooked using advanced induction cooktops and steam ovens, ensuring that it is both delicious and nutritious.
While the students sit down to eat, they can enjoy their meals in a space-age dining area that features smart tables equipped with built-in screens for entertainment and communication. The tables also have integrated sensors that monitor students' food intake and provide personalized recommendations for healthy eating habits.
The last location was found at the highest point of the Academy building. It was distant from the commotion and chaos, with only the calming sound of the wind audible, providing a pristine view in all directions.
This section of the Academy was off-limits because of the danger of falling from its extreme height, as the Academy was situated an impressive 400 feet above the ground. However, Lucius Albright appeared unconcerned about the prohibition. In fact, he stood leaning against the guardrails, staring at the view in front of him with a distant gaze.
To Lucius, this spot provided him with solitude to contemplate since hardly anyone else frequented this area. Secluded from distractions, he could peacefully savor his meal while admiring the view from the railing.
"Japan has undergone significant changes, hasn't it," Lucius remarked with a furrowed brow. "The technology has improved greatly, but I can't shake this feeling that something is off. Everyone else appears content with it, so shouldn't I feel the same way?" Conflicting thoughts swirled in his mind, leaving him in a state of dilemma.
Despite being under the control of Frecitannia, the people of Japan appeared to be compliant even though they had lost their dignity. Despite this, they were able to lead relatively peaceful lives due to technological advancements, security and financial support provided to them. Lucius believed that Japan needed someone to take action. However, he began to question if peaceful times like this needed such a person.
"Perhaps due to my sense of pride, it doesn't sit right with me. However, only time will tell.
He glanced at his pocket watch and noticed that it was almost time for the evening classes to begin, so he needed to quickly head back down.
Instead of using the elevator he preferred to take the stairs to have some time alone, but unexpectedly he stumbled upon a situation. He heard the sounds of a struggle ahead of him. A Frecitannian boy had slammed a Japanese girl against the walls, his laughter like a wild dog, threatening her with the knife at her throat.
The girl looked injured with scratches and bruises covering her body. "What's wrong, can't speak now?" The Frecitannian boy taunted, his hideous face reminiscent of a scurrying cockroach while also being thin. "Come on baby what happened, I thought we were having a good time, huh?" Despite his barrage of words the girl remained silent, looking down with a helpless expression. "Well if you won't talk, how about this. Let us enjoy ourselves?" He said while an ugly grin began spreading across his face.
The hideous smile on his face was twisted and contorted, with jagged yellow teeth protruding from his thin lips. His eyes were dark and sunken, filled with a disturbing intensity that creep anybody out. The boy's gaunt, pallid complexion only adds to the overall unsettling appearance, making him seem like a nightmare come to life. It's a face that you can't unsee, haunting your thoughts even long after you've looked away.
He started moving his hand over the girl's school uniform towards her chest, attempting to look at her breasts. He let out a soft groan, finding it exciting.
"It appears that a filthy cockroach was allowed to enter the school gates. I must say, being both hideous and disgusting really suits a cockroach."
The sudden stern voice surprised them, causing the boy to stop before he could even start. They both looked up towards the staircase, where they spotted him. For a moment, they thought they had seen a ghost. A silhouette stood confidently, with the sunlight from the transparent windows casting a blinding glare, creating a shadow that concealed his body in darkness.
"Obviously, repulsive insects like you would stoop to using those methods," the voice descended the stairs gradually, each step resonating with dramatic flair. "Hmph, so pathetic." Lucius emerged from the darkness and advanced, his expression twisted in disgust.
Lucius quickly identified the young man upon clearly seeing his face. The young man ws Hubert Duval, a member of the royal family of Frecitannian, the Duvals. It was unusual for a Frecitannian to attend a Japanese school like this one, but his family believed it was necessary due to Hubert's troubled nature.
Hubert reacted strongly to the disrespectful comments, his expression transforming instantly. "Do you realize who you are talking to? Have you no idea who I am?" His angry demeanor made him resemble an ugly pig, with his eyes wide and his tongue lashing out with each word. "Do I appear to be concerned about your identity?" Lucius retorted with disdain. "You Frecitannians are consistently arrogant and believe you can mistreat anyone. All of life should be treated fairly." Lucius's words were sharp and cutting.
Hubert quickly approached Lucius, holding the knife as if he intended to attack, but Lucius saw through his act. Lucius remained composed and unmoving causing him to stop dead in his tracks. Up close, Hubert was surprised by how incredibly tall Lucius was, standing at 197cm. He appeared like a towering giant, observing everything from above like a watchtower in the clouds.
Lucius looked down with a sneering grin, thinking to himself, "He's a joke. Pretending to be something he's not." "Weapons are meant for action, not bluffs. You must be ready to take a life or lose your own." Lucius vocalized his thoughts.
