In a steam fill area we see a boy sitting on top of numberous wooden creatures/golems looking down towards a child.
"So you finally came out of your hidy-hole." Grey said with a smirk. "Took you long enough"
The boy with a teary look, cried out, "y,,, you Monster!"
"Who you calling a monster?" grey puzzled, went closer to the boy, "you little terp." Giving the boy a nuggie.
"Ah owww help, some one save me!" the boy cried out.
Cut back to Grey in a self made bunker with the girl he captured chained up to a chair. Like a certain someone a few chapters ago.
"Hey wake up." Throwing some water on to the girl face.
"Cough * cough pfftua hmmm,,, where am I?" The girl asked, " and where my kitty*?"
Grey befuddled, "look in the one who's asking the questions here, first who are-"
"Noooo not until I know where's my kitty!" Cutting of Grey, the girl stared sharply at grey.
After staring fixedly at each other Grey decided to ask, "what is this kitty of your's?" Knowing that this girl wouldn't relent until she got what she wanted.
Happy the girl replied, "it's my precious partner inside my case."
"Oh it's that weapon you had, well I set it aside over in the next room." Grey told her, "now answer my question, who are you, and what do you want with me?"
"Ow well my name is Chelsea, and I'm here to warn you." Chelsea answered.
"Warn me about?" Curious grey responded.
"Well you're a twin right?"
*Figures everyone pretty much already knows, "Yes, I already know everyone wants me and brother dead."
"Yes, but you're supposed to be safe here because of the guilds code, but someone has gotten inside and is trying to kill you and you're twin." Chelsea hurriedly explained.
"And why are you telling me this?"
"Oh well, its kinda complicated but because I'm against my family and..."
"And who is you're family? who's there assassin? and are they after me or my brother?" Grey getting closer with every question asked
"W.. well... It.. it's, YOU'RE TO CLOSE!" Chelsea nervously, and furiously moved about and headbutted Grey, only to end up being knocked out
"Great, well I guess shes no threat to me I'll just put her with the rest. I'll get more answers another day." Grey stumbled away, "wow what the hell was that headbutt."
With Grey unable to get more answers he thought about the possibility of what the girl had told him and if they were after him or Gray. As he presses a few buttons on his wrist projecting a holographic map of the inside of the asteroid. Showing another pinpoint far away from his location. We close in on that pinpoint seeing Gray, as he is conducting his own integration on the humanoid plant boy.
"So what's you're name kid?" Grey asked while levitating the boy in mid-air.
"I already told you I'm not a kid!" The boy cried "I'm way older than you and put me down!"
"Look I'll put you down as soon as you tell me you're name, and why you called me here."
"My name is... Drew, Drew of the drus." Drew answered, "and like I said earlier I was you because you seemed nice."
"And what made you think I was nice?" Grayed asked with a spine tingling tone.
Frighten Drew answered with a wimper "Y... you're mana. You're mana seemed so peaceful."
"Ah that makes sense well, but you shouldn't trust my mana."
"What do you mean?" Drew asked with befuddled look across his face.
"Ah well here I can't really explain but I'll show you, look" grey pulls out a silver necklace filled with rings, a pendant, and a glass full of lead. "Ok I think it was this one?" Removing a green ring. With Drew's perception he saw just how blank Grey's mana really was as it didn't have a hint of good nor evil, as if he didn't have a sense of morality. "Well what do you think of me now?" Grey asked with a sinister smile.
"I... i... Impossible how can someone be so bland?" Drew looked at Grey with bewilderment.
"Bland well I guess because I'm not fighting my mana would look like that." Grey answered half-heartedly.
"Wait not fighting does that mean your mana changes when you're fighting?" Drew asked with Wonder.
"Well, yeah doesn't everyones?"
"No this isn't right most people mana st-"
An explosion destroying the outer layers of the tree. "Oh no I lost focus of the outside because of you"
"Lost focus?"
"Yes I need to try to fix the tree before they all break in!" Drew lift his arms pointing at the direction of the exlposion clamming his eyes shut trying to focus but it was to no avail as the seekere finally broke through.
"Ah I see!" Grey finally understanding the situation, "you're also a newbie like me!"
Drew looked at grey with a confused look.
"Don't worry you can relax I can take care of these chumps just take care of any from behind." Placing the ring back on his necklace before heading towards the explosion.
Back to grey looking at his left hand looking at a teraannum vintage compass pocket watch. "Well look like I got less than two hours to go this was easier than I thought it was going to be."
And as if on cue an exlposion happened from the entrance of his bunker.
"No one can hide from TÍO!" As Tío finished making his entrance, grey hides in a corner hoping to land a surprise attack.
*Shit how did he get pass my traps, and why didn't he activate any of my senors?
Smelling the air, Tío grins jumping pass the door pointing shooting an net towards grey. Realizing the situation grey taps his wrist together forming a chainsaw on his left hand, cutting through the net, Tío in excitement threw some lit sticks of dynomate, in turn grey taps his right thigh popping out a few cubes for him to throw at the dynomate containing the explosion. Not yet done Tío reaches for his back to grab his minigun but before he can fire grey rushes at him. In a flash both TÍO and grey are blinded and stunned. Grey tries to fight the paralysis, however he is helped up by no other than Chelsea.
"Grey let's go." Chelsea squeaks out
"Ww... Wait you're nnn... Not going nn... Anywhere." Tío stutters as he fighta the paralysis with sheer will standing back up, pulling out a bag filled with jalapenos eating a red jalapeno. "Let's start round 2."
"How could he be good after eating a pepper?!?" Chelsea pondered.
"Move *pant* I can handle him *pant*." Grey says with heavy breathing.
"Ah so you also come prepared eh flaco"
How is this even possible they should both be blind and paralyzed til the end of the day. Chelsea baffled, "Grey are you sure you don't want help I also hurt you."
With a deep breath in and out Grey softly said, "yes." As grey took his stance.
"Flaco let's not take two long so let's play a game who ever gets hit first losses."
"Ok and and what do I get if I win?"
"I'll leave give you some free information and I won't try to capture you."
"And if I lose?"
"You and that girl will come willingly as my captives."
"Why the girl?"
"Oh you don't know? Mira she's also a boot just like you."
Grey looks back at Chelsea seeing her worried face and decides his next action. As he drops his guard stick out his chest cracking his back. (From Grey pov.) Staring at the roof of the ceiling completely unguarded, Looking back at tío he responds, "you're on."
And with a devilish grin Tío throws a flash bang that was filled with pepper mist trying to get Grey while he was unable to see, but grey went through catching Tío off guard.
"Put-" Tío tried to get some distance from Grey but looking at greys mask from above he saw the great white face as grey mask shows what type of Apex grey is a lone monster that will hunt his prey with ferocity.
Grey uses his martials that his grandfather taught him Great White Ascension. Thrusting an open palm fist upwards into Tío. Knocking out Tío.
"Grey are you ok?"
"Yeah, I just need a minute to rest."
Cut back to Gray and Drew. As grey is lazily laying on a group of unconscious assassin. We can even see Pep, and Fana there but no Col.
"Wow they still haven't sent any one good." Gray says to himself, "maybe he got the stronger ones?"
"Wow... Gray don't you see these guys were strong it's just that you're so much stronger."
"Mmm nah these guys aren't the tough ones I can vaguely remember thoses guys that knocked me out."
"There were people stronger than you?"
"Oh yeah and they did it in a blink of an eye."
"In a blink..."
"Yeah, so I'll need a better warm up." Gray says while stretching.
Narrator: As the clock ticks down the new recruits have but a few minutes to rest before the big guns get sent in, with not much change in the last few days how will the boys be able to handle the more experienced assassins.
