"Happy birthday, Grandpa." Amaia greeted Jonathan with a smile before giving him the present she had prepared for him.
"Thank you, dear. You didn't need to do this. You are a present for me." Jonathan chuckled before accepting her present.
"I hope you will like it." Amaia clasped her hands, feeling nervous. She spent a lot of time picking up this gift. Thankfully, Adriann was patient with her while selecting the gifts. It was for his grandfather, after all.
"Let's see what Amaia brought for you, Grandpa." Caroline smiled at Amaia, which didn't reach her eyes.
"No need." Jonathan refused before putting the present down on the table, beside the cake.
"It's okay, Grandpa. You can open it." Amaia smiled with reassurance. She didn't mind if they saw her present.
