Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Birth of a Bastard

In the heart of Konoha, a man with white eyes paced anxiously along the dimly lit passage outside a room. Within, the anguished cries of a woman echoed through the air. The passage's tense silence was eventually shattered by the cessation of her painful wails, replaced by the delicate sound of a newborn's cries. An elderly woman emerged, cradling the newborn in her arms. Gently, she transferred the child to the man waiting outside.

As he held the infant, his eyes glimmered with joy, but when he sought the eyes of his wife, a storm of anger reflected in her gaze. The happiness within him waned, and he averted his eyes, overwhelmed by embarrassment. Studying the baby, whose eyes mirrored his own, With the newborn in his hand he approached his wife, querying about the baby's name. She responded with determination, "I want to name the baby Hinata."

Few days passed, and once again, the same man with the pale eyes found himself pacing outside a modest apartment. The familiar symphony of a woman's pained cries emanated from within. The screams ceased, replaced by the piercing cries of a baby. This time, however, when the elderly lady emerged, her countenance was one of sorrow. She handed the newborn to the man, whose joy quickly turned to fury as he gazed upon the child.

"Do you really expect me to believe that this is my child?" he roared, the sudden change in his tone catching the woman off guard. As she attempted to understand, he relinquished the baby to the old lady and stormed away, vowing to shatter all previous arrangements. The old lady left the child by the woman's side, explaining that without the Byakugan, the child would not be considered a true Hyuga.

Left alone, the woman, eyes filled with melancholy, named the child Sakura, honoring the commitment they had made. After a month of Hinata being born celebration erupted within the Hyuga house for the birth of the clan's princess. Sakura's mother attended the festivity, but every attempt to meet with the clan leader, Hiyashi Hyuga, ended in rejection.

In the heart of the Hyuga estate, Hiyashi stood like an impenetrable fortress, his gaze cold and unwavering. The rejection he cast was not solely upon Sakura's mother but extended to the innocent child cradled in her arms. The very notion of accepting a child without the coveted Byakugan, an integral mark of Hyuga lineage, was an affront to his principles.

In a final attempt to bridge the chasm between them, Hiyashi's wife implored him to have one last conversation with Sakura's mother. The air inside the room hung heavy with tension as Hiyashi reluctantly acquiesced. Sakura's mother, wearing an expression of resignation, stepped into the chamber, closing the door behind her.

A heavy sigh escaped her lips, carrying the weight of unspoken words. "Even though you don't accept this child," she began, her voice carrying a mixture of sadness and determination, "I will raise her to remember you by. I will never bother you again." Her words lingered in the air, a bittersweet farewell from a woman who considered Hiyashi both friend and family. "I was just here to say my goodbyes," she continued, "as you are the only person that I consider as a friend and family."

With those parting words, Sakura's mother gracefully exited the Hyuga house, leaving behind an aura of finality. The door closed behind her, sealing the chapter that held the hopes of reconciliation. Hiyashi, still immersed in his stoicism, remained unchanged, the weight of his decision settling upon the silent room like an unspoken judgment.
