After a few days, we finally arrived at the palace. I couldn't help but feel excitement fill my body. I'm finally home. We stop in front of the palace. Ian let me down gently.
"I'm home!!!" I yell.
"My lady!!" all the servants ran toward me.
They were hugging and kept welcoming me with warmth. I miss them even in just a few days.
"Gerald!!" I beam. He smiles as he looks at me. "I--I miss your cooking."
"Oh? I'm happy to hear that, my lady." he chuckles.
"And I'm happy that you're already back, Duke." Sean came with tired eyes.
Wow. I think he has enough of handling the work that Ian left to him. He seemed gloomy and his hair was messy. Blaze who saw him bursts into laughter.
"I'm sorry for gone too long, Sean. You did a good job. You can take days off." Ian pats his shoulder.
"Yeah, I need that." he sighs, messaging his head.
