I wipe my sword. Watching the blood of that demonic on my sword makes me furious even more. I glance at my ring, still, there nothing happened.
Is she okay? I mean, she's all alone from yesterday. What happened to the demonic that chased her that time? Is there someone to help her out?
I can't get it off of my mind. My eyes shut, and thinking about it makes my head hurt. I'm worried about her. I never forgive myself if something happened to her.
"Duke, everything is ready." Blaze appeared.
I get up and slide my sword back. "If that is so, let's get going. We have to find her fast."
"Yes, Duke."
Qai came beside me. He nudges me using his snout. "You can smell her, Qai?"
He shakes his head. I think Maya is far if Qai couldn't smell her scent. Her scent is strong since Ruth said her blood is special so it might reach her.
When Qai couldn't smell her scent, she might be far from here. This makes me worried even more.
