The damage was quite significant, and I felt very satisfied.
Damage containment by the leaders was expected—there were still a reasonable number of Zergs, including some of the stronger ones. However, the general and the prince were still present, as was Choi Han, a member of the second prince's group, and Arno, who was already in the fray.
As for me, I had another task to handle. Nyx had detected unusual activity in another region of the planet—an area that previously had no relevant information or data. The activity also seemed to be heading toward this base, and I could not allow that to happen.
I took a deep breath and channeled my spatial power in front of me, creating a portal.
Then, I stepped through it.
I emerged hidden among mountains. The area resembled the original location where we tracked the Zergs, but it was clearly situated at different geographic coordinates.
