Hello guys.
I focused this prologue entirely on a fake isekai...
Dominion manipulated all of you fools muahahahahah!!!!!
I tried to provide an overview of the factions at play: Demons and Heroes, while I only hinted at the Revolutionaries.
I didn't include some details because I deemed them unnecessary. However, I want to clarify them in this additional chapter:
1) At the beginning of the Prologue, the hero mentioned by Jin is Dominion, in the guise of Maria Ross.
2) When Keze captured Ban, he called his associate. This associate was manipulated by Dominion, who instructed him to put Ban in the same room as Leya.
Dominion, despite having lost much power, controls several people in the city of Fort.
3) Dominion placed Ban in Group 1 to bring him closer to Seyun, having sensed his interest in the girl.
4) In both cases, Dominion tried to make Chaos fall in love with one of the two girls. He didn't use his manipulation power on Chaos, fearing it might trigger his memories.
5)Ban has repeatedly said that he feels 'obligated' to stay at the academy for a reason he doesn't understand, but it's not about Dominion. In fact, it's the will of Chaos that takes over.
6) Dominion sent the box with pills to Ban. He did it indirectly, through a manipulated cadet.
7) When Chaos lost all memory of his progenitor demon nature, his abilities became sealed. Despite having the constitution of a demon, it still remains vulnerable to a certain type of attacks, but his safety was never at risk, as Dominion diligently controlled him. Any attack against him would inadvertently awaken his true nature, preventing his demise. To utilize demon abilities, one needs both willpower and fear, a principle applying to Chaos as well. As seen with Darkness's attack, an instinctive fear and will to survive led to Chaos's disappearance, transforming into an abstract entity, merging with Darkness.
8) The two unfortunate Heroes who dared (not yet) to think about attacking Chaos, when he materialized during the Heroes' assembly, not only never existed in the original timeline, but this 'effect' also extends to the new timeline.
One does not joke with Chaos.
9) I would like to clarify that there is no multiverse (except in Chaos' mind). By going into the past, he didn't create a different timeline; he destroyed the original line and replaced it with a new one.
10) Nature of demons:
- Earth-born demons: Demons representing concrete fears (Hornet demon, Snake demon, Blood demon, etc.) exist in the astral form in the universe, only as dust. When conditions are met, they can materialize; they originate directly from human fears.
- Transcendental demons: Demons like Death, War, Famine, Dominion, Time come from a mystical world; Demons representing abstract fears emerge in that realm. They can create portals with demonic energy to transfer to the human planet. These demons don't arise from human fears but directly from Chaos.
In this case, it's not the fears that generate these demons, but rather the demons that generate the fears.
And if you don't understand this concept, it's because Chaos wants you not to understand it.
11)Dominion, like all transcendental demons, retains certain information (innate knowledge) when reborn in the new universe, including the awareness of being in a new universe that will eventually face destruction.
12) Chaos is the only demon never to be born. When he doesn't manifest on the planet, he is present everywhere as an abstract entity.
13) The appearance of transcendental demons follows an interesting pattern: Their appearance, in the mystical realm where they originate, is different from what they take on the planet of humans.
When manifesting on the planet, they take on the appearance of approximately twelve-year-old children, gradually growing to reach adulthood. Their aging process occurs at a significantly slower rate compared to humans. Death appears as a child because she has been present on the planet for only a few years, while Dominion materializes only during the confrontation with Chaos, and his growth halts when experiencing life through others' bodies.
As for their appearance in the mystical realm, it is inexplicable to us humans...
It is enough for us to know that their appearance is something beyond human understanding.
Even I, the author, have no idea what they look like.
14) Zeff is the Nightmare demon. He traps his victims in endless nightmares, ensuring they don't wake up unless he wishes it.
15) The name of the cadet who harassed Ban is not allowed for me to disclose. Every time I think about it, I feel a pressure around me growing, to the point of making me short of breath.
...
Okay, numbers 10 and 14 are spoilers. Why am I writing them? Is it perhaps by the will of Chaos?
