Although he is the 'Heir' of this place, the information in his mind was about him walking around and looking for books there. He even came to remember Isla a little bit, when they were in this place.
But this new information was not about that. It was about information from the Library as such. That is, it was information on where to find any kind of book he wanted to read. It was concise, detailed information that was able to park itself in his mind without any pain, even though it was a lot of information.
Something like that was surprising.
