One of said beasts, unfortunately was found by Leon and before it could retaliate it's head flew off.

Leon felt a bit better from his failure earlier, however he had a long way to go if he wanted to be completely calm.
'That veil is really helpful, everyone would be going crazy if it didn't exist.' Leon thought as he rushed at another beast, a 8th State Meridian Realm one.
**Gained 6000 Qi** the crisp sound rang out, though Leon didn't break through this time. He rushed ahead once more, seemingly not ready to take a break.
**What's with this motivation? Are you planning on hunting down the whole forest?" Leo said jokingly.
Leon didn't reply, just nodding his head as he went for another Beast's throat!
**Gained 7000 Qi!** The melody returned, granting him a sweet breakthrough.
With his profound strength Leon realized he didn't need to actively attack these beasts, he could kill them without thinking.
And so a slaughter began in the forest, turning it from green to blood red, enveloping all of it with a murderous aura.
The being responsible for this massacre was currently talking to his AI assistant "I forgot to ask, but why did you have such a large reaction to Lilith?" Leon said
**I can't tell you, you're not powerful enough to know currently.** Leo said in a stern tone, one completely different from his usual manner.
"Why not? That Earhart doesn't get that much protection from you, and he's way stronger than Lilith." Leon argued, surely a young girl like Lilith couldn't be more valuable than Earhart, no matter how talented.
Leo looked at Leon with a strange expression **Earhart is a few billion years old. Lilith is 16. Why would I block anything about that old guy when everyone knows about him? Not to mention Lilith is way more talented than everyone in this Realm. She's at your level for now**
"Okay, but what does that have to do with being so shocked? And what do you mean for now? I'm obviously more talented." Leon said smugly
**I am shocked because she surpasses this Realm in talent. You're supposed to be the only anomoly here. And indeed you have more potential, but currently you're at the same level. If you awaken more of your bloodline... that's a different story.**
Just as Leon was going to reply, he felt a shock run through his body. Breakthrough!

"How do I awaken more of my bloodline?" He questioned.
**Naturally, the stronger you get the more.perfect you become. Thus breaking through realms will increase your bloodline concentration. However, because your bloodline is so grand you'll only get that increase when you break through a Major Realm.**
"..." Leon was depressed. He was amazing but breaking through Major Realms, was it really that easy? He wished to refute this unfairness but he was stopped by a grim feeling engulfing him.
**RUN-** Leo's voice was cut off as Leon felt himself lose his balance, almost falling over. He tried to dodge but was met with a claw to his stomach, piercing his abdomen and leaking fresh blood.
His eyes focused on the one who injured him, seeing a Wolf that flashed between being Red and Blue he was stunned. 'Foundation Realm Beast!'
Touching his bloody stomach, he was frightened by the might if this wolf. He took deep breaths, calming down slowly. Facing off against this wolf would be his end, most likely.
Leon felt his body ache in pain, he had never experienced this type of injury before. Remembering his father, his bloodline and most of all his talent he couldn't lose. Not in this life.
Taking one last deep breath to stop himself from bleeding out, Leon rushed forward at this threat.

"Shit, it's 8 meridians ahead of me. I can't lose, not yet." Leon said as he used his sword to attack the fierce wolf, being pushed back when it retaliated with it's own claw.
Feeling the power behind the claw Leon knew he wouldn't be a match for this beast in terms of strength and speed.
Nonetheless he remained calm, moving forward to cut off one of it's legs. The Wolf adopted an arrogant expression and aimed to hit away his sword with a paw. Only at the last second did Leon move the blade upward, instead piercing the wolf's left eye.
Though he had landed a critical hit on the Wolf he himself was thrown back, a large part of his left thigh gone. He could barely stand as this scene seemed to gruesome to describe!
Leon tried holding back his voice as he grimaced in pain as did the wolf, both enemies currently vulnerable; the winner would be the one who recovered faster.
Of course, though it lost an eye the wolf didn't have a major injury on it's body so it struck out first. Leon looked at the shadow he could barely see coming towards him, breathing in a large breath....
Time stopped.
It is said that when a human faces a situation of Life and Death he can use all the potential in his body to do things that would normally be deemed impossible.
Leon's eyes grew cold as he knew, if he messed up here he would be dead. Going back to being a mortal, so soon? Never. His violet eyes turned purple.
"DIE!" Leon yelled as his body exploded with power and rushed at the wolf, who now seemed much slower.
