"Where are you taking me?" I asked, my voice trembling as he pulled me deeper into the shadowy hallways.
He didn't respond. Instead, he quickened his pace, dragging me with an urgency that made it difficult to keep up with his long strides. Anxiety coursed through me as I struggled to match his rhythm, my heart racing with each hurried step.
