Mark wouldn't be surprised if Loki was the god who made the leader of that organization sacrifice people. Loki didn't hide his hatred for humanity when he was speaking to Mark, and Mark knew that Loki was on the side of the anima. It was only sensible to think that he would've been pulling strings for so long.
Mark spoke up.
"This group that you're talking about, what's their name?"
Genshi hummed and looked up to the ceiling.
"Their name has been constantly changing over the past few years to go along with their new doctrine and ambitions. But by the time I last heard from my sources, they told me that the name they had adopted was Syndicate."
