That boring, dull feeling that Mark had been drowning in for so long was slowly leaving him, and Mark had to clench his right hand into a fist to control the shiver that was passing through him as he stared into Megumi's eyes.
Mark wanted to fight her.
As for Megumi, she had already completely tuned out everything that Genshi and her brother were saying to her once she saw Mark. Genshi had been telling her about their plans for the superhumans and how they would handle them while they were in the country, but Megumi stopped listening once she saw Mark on that bus. Megumi felt something like lightning course through her body, and she was shocked when she realized that her mouth had moved to form a tiny grin at the sight of the man she wanted to meet for so long.
This was the person praised as the strongest in the world, and Megumi wanted nothing more than to stab him with her sword and see if he would bleed for her.
