Gasp!
Mark suddenly gasped as he came back to the real world, and his ears pricked as he heard a voice talking from his side.
[Mark? Mark, are you there!? Mark!]
It was Luna talking through Mark's phone, and Mark realized that Sozin had brought him back to the time he left, right in the middle of his conversation with Luna. Fucking bastard.
Mark recalled what he and Luna had been talking about and he quickly put the phone to his ear and told Luna that he would be at the guild office soon. Luna released a sigh of relief once he spoke, and Mark wondered if she thought something had happened to him. It was strange to have someone worry about his safety with all the power he possessed.
[Mark, are you okay? You went silent for a while.]
