A massive force impacted against the door leading to the throne room and Ephraim shuffled nervously as he saw the guards standing around them getting into position. Ephraim might be one of the highest-ranking angels in the kingdom, but that does not mean he was the strongest angel. Ephraim didn't even have enough power to be regarded as an A-tier fighter and most of his power in the kingdom comes from his relationship to the king as an advisor.
So the situation right now was very nerve-wracking for him.
