"I can grant you five minutes alone with her. That's all."
Arthur grit his teeth in anger and ran his hands across his face roughly. He wished he had more time than that, but he decided he wasn't going to be greedy about it. Alec already looked like giving him those five minutes was going to be difficult, so asking for more would definitely not be a good idea. But Arthur knew what he had to do now. He would talk to Arit and make her tell them that they were wrong. They were all wrong. There was no way his daughter was a killer! There was no way she did what they were saying she did! Why would Arit kill anyone? Arit had wanted to be a doctor for as long as Arthur could remember, and she cared about human life more than anyone he knew! She would never kill anyone!
"Okay… Okay, w-what do you want me to do?"
Alec nodded and gestured to someone outside to enter, and two men came into the room and started to fit Arthur's shirt with a wire.
