Chapter 174 Avengers
Unfortunately, what Coulson saw before he died can only be known when he is resurrected.
Soon, a team of medical personnel hurried over and checked Agent Coulson's body.
Not long after, an announcement was heard from the communication headsets worn by Agent Hill and others.
"Agent Coulson has been killed, and the medical team has already rushed over..."
Tony Stark and Captain America and others, who had stabilized the mothership's downward trend after some effort, fell into silence after hearing the bad news. The atmosphere became heavy for a while.
…
At the conference table, Nick Fury took something out of his chest.
"It was found inside Agent Coulson's coat."
"He'll never get a chance to get your autograph."
As he spoke, Nick Fury looked at Captain America and raised his hand to throw away what was in his hand.
All I saw were some cards with Captain America's pictures printed on them.
Apparently, Coulson had been a fan of Captain America but had never had the chance to express it.
Picking up Liang Xue's card on the table, Captain America Steve Rogers fell silent.
Nick Fury continued speaking, introducing the current situation.
"The communicator is broken, and I can't find the cube. Banner and Thor are missing, too. There's nothing I can do about it."
"Coulson is dead, and I lost my best confidant. Maybe it's my own fault..." Nick Fury said self-deprecatingly.
Then, he continued, "We originally planned to use the Rubik's Cube to make weapons, but I didn't bet on that. Instead, I used it on a more risky project."
Captain America Steve Rogers frowned slightly, somewhat puzzled.
Nick Fury looked at Tony Stark, "That's my ideal, Stark should know."
"I call it the Avengers Plan!"
"The idea is to bring together the most extraordinary people in the world and see if they can make a bigger difference."
Nick Fury paused, sighed, and said, "Originally, my targets included Stark and the others. Two of them were important, but unfortunately, they were out of control."
"Who is it?" Captain America vaguely guessed something, but still couldn't help but ask.
As Tony and the other man watched, Nick Fury gave the answer, "Those two are the Messiah and that freak in white, the White Man."
After a pause, he continued, "But their power is too terrifying, and the world is afraid of them. They can easily lose control, and once they lose control, the impact will be terrible."
"The instability of mutants is the result of a large amount of research data and events."
"So rather than being Avengers, they are more like unstable factors that need to be eliminated."
That's why he sent out Captain Marvel, wanting to first eliminate the Messiah who had revealed his trace and eliminate this hidden danger and unstable factor. Unfortunately, the chosen battlefield was not suitable, which led to the battle ending hastily and the two did not come to a conclusion.
Having said that, Nick Fury paused and did not continue talking about the two dangerous Omega mutants.
But even though he didn't discuss it anymore, Tony Stark and Captain America were still thinking about Messiah and the other one.
It's scary just to think about these two Omega mutants joining this so-called Avengers team.
For example, if these two terrible guys were here, this mothership incident would most likely not have happened.
However, if the Omega mutants do join, they should be suspicious of Nick Fury's motives.
Like, if Nick Fury sent the two to do something terrible, the mere thought of them would be terrifying.
Nick Fury didn't know what they were thinking, and continued to talk to himself, "My main purpose in forming the Avengers is..."
"When we need them, they can work together to fight against enemies we are not sure we can defeat!"
"Coulson believed in this ideal until his death. He believed..."
After a pause, Nick Fury said solemnly, "Heroes exist!"
Unfortunately, as soon as he finished his touching and even brainwashing speech, Tony Stark stood up and left without saying a word.
Obviously, he did not support the Avenger's proposal.
Or in other words, this was not the first time Nick Fury had mentioned this to Tony. Last time he had refused and did not want to join the super boy group that he had ridiculed.
Looking at Tony Stark's leaving back, Nick Furrillo said awkwardly, "Well, this is indeed a somewhat old-fashioned concept."
While the three of them were talking, Su Yao was floating in the air.

While listening to the reminder sound beside his ears, Su Yao looked into the distance from high in the sky.
He saw that Thor, the God of Thunder, had walked out of the glass prison, but looking at the hammer that fell to the ground, he raised his hand but did not have the courage to lift the hammer.
Coulson's death dealt him a heavy blow, making him hesitate, wondering whether he should raise the hammer and continue fighting. If he continued to fight, would more people die?
While he was hesitating here, Su Yao floated for a distance and also saw the Hulk. At this moment, he was lying naked in the ruins. A worker handed him a pair of pants and he quickly put them on.
While Su Yao was absorbing energy points and observing the two of them, Natasha and Hawkeye Barton were in a medical room on the mothership.
"Barton, you'll be fine," Natasha comforted.
"How do you know?" Patton forced a smile.
At this moment, he was lying on the bed, sweating profusely, with a ferocious look on his face, trying to break free from the control of the Mind Scepter.
"I don't have time, I..." Patton felt like he was dying, gasping, "I have to get it out of my mind..."
"You just need some time, you'll be back to normal soon." Natasha stood up and poured a glass of water.
Hearing this, Barton sighed and said, "You won't understand. You've never let anyone control your brain. That feeling... squeeze out the real you and stuff something else in..."
"Do you know what it feels like to be crushed?"
Barton raised his eyes and looked at Natasha.
Natasha responded silently, "You know, I've been there, too."
Barton was stunned, remembered something, and quickly changed the subject.
He asked, "How did I wake up, and how did you get rid of him?"
Obviously, he was talking about himself when he was controlled.
Natasha responded, "Recalibrate your consciousness. I hit you hard on the head."
"Thank you." Barton thanked him.
Seeing that he had almost recovered, Natasha walked over and untied him, allowing him to regain the ability to move.
