I pout as another shiver comes from the ground. I had already spilled half of the cold coffee which is keeping me awake, so I am in a bad mood.
The Earthquake had gotten more frequent and all people (exept me) in the class left due to fear. Unfortunately for me, I had no fear. It was a disease.
Soon the classroom door crashed onto the ground and a hippo sized maggot with shark-like teeth came in with a roar, followed by a psychopath carrying a cup of coffee.
I wanted the coffe in his hands. It was hot from the steam coming out of the lid opening. My mood soured as he opened the lid to throw it at the worm.
I did him a favour and threw the cold coffee into the mouth of the beast so I could get that hot coffee in his hands. Instantly, the worm started to shiver and squirm.

I blink at the hologram before looking at the pale psychopath. "Why are you here? Who are you?" He asks with a shocked murmur before his face pales in a realization.

"What the hell?!" He screeches and rubs his hair in furstration. "There was nothing like this in the future" he screams and I realize he might be a protagonist.
He probably regressed to gain a amazing skill from the monster I just killed only for it to disappear due to cquinsidence. I look up as I notice a notification appearing.

"…this is a joke right? The girl is getting two different S and above skills?" He looks at my hand in envy and I notice the 'EX' ranking tattoo on my skin.
"Can you explain what's going on?" I ask since I don't have a clue where this leads. "Long story short, the world is going through an apocalypse and you just hit the jackpot" he says emotionlessly.
"EX rank skill is something unique. What is your plan now?" He asks me and I look at him before seeing a strange golden 100% on top his head. What is that?
"I wanna follow you? I am guessing you know the future so it's a safe bet and I have the skill you wanted so this will work out for both of us" I tell him, making him freeze in place.
"I would not trust a person in an apocalypse with your life" he tells me and I shrug as a response. "I am immune to fear in general so I have no self-preservation skills. I am asking for your help" I tell him and he sighs.

Contract description:
Xavier will protect you on the condition you use your Lucky Halo on the Treasure Chest he obtains. There will be no betrayal on either sides. Any treasure chest is finder's keepers so if you find a chest, you keep the chest and vice versa. The person with the final kill gets all the items]
I sign of on the agreement without much hesitation and care. I decide this would be a good time to see my 'Status' as the Protagonist calls it. I have never paid attention to novels or manga so I am confused.

"Why is all my stats 1, only my luck is 100" I ask the Regressor and he smiles ruefully. "All wounds and diseases are healed and everyone starts out at similar capabilities to make it fair." He starts.
"Every human starts with 1 for every stats and the only upgrade your stats is through your skills or leveling up and gaining SP. since you have your EX skill, your luck is maxed out" he finishes with a sigh before getting out a dagger and looking at a horde of green creatures.
"Levelling up is a pain in the ass so I am jealous you just got your level up to 5 without doing anything. I need to catch up so there and don't move" he tells me before rushing towards the horde with no care in the world. He is truly a protagonist.

Looking at the corpses of bodies, and staring at Xavier's level, I think about his earlier statement. If levels are hard to reach, why did he reach level 5 so quickly? "Let's go to my house, it's safe and doomsday proof" he informs me and I nod mindlessly.
"Do you know where you will put your SP to?" He asks and I shake my head before frowning "does it really matter?" At my question, he looks at me like I am some otherworldly being. "I already know you didn't survive long" he mutters before handing me another peice of news.
"You get to choose a class after Level 10, and in my opinion, it would be better if you waited until then to allocate your points." He tells me and I sort of understand. Essentially, classes are like jobs and putting points into the necessary stats for that job would be beneficial to me.
I don't ask for his permission before taking of my shoe and jumping into his queen sized bed. It's biggest bed I have ever seen and it feels softer than my bed. "Good god, I bet you died from perverts instead of actual monsters. Who jumps into a man's bed like that?" He whispers before telling me he will 'level grind' and I should stay here.
He is trying to restrict me from leveling up so I have to rely on him more, isn't he? Well, it can't be helped. The only thing I have is luck and luck will do shit when I am faced with a monster. Let's open my S rank treasure chest and see what I got!

Cool! I have two EX skills now…I am not gonna tell him that. It's his punishment for trying to restrict me. The outfit itself was pretty comfortable despite being so weird. The floating oversized hat with dangling clocks is my favourite. Also the magic staff that seemed to glow with power.
My body vibrated as the ground shook at a loud roar and next thing I knew, a lizard that looked like a skull crawler implanted its head into the side of the apartment. It couldn't get its head unstuck and I could hear the military shooting at its body.

Well shit, I truly hit the jackpot despite my skills not being totally offensive. I took a knife and monster tried open its mouth to bite me, but I got out of its reach and near its eyes. When my position was set, I started stabbing like a madwoman.
After the final eye was destroyed, I shoved the kitchen knife into its skull before hurrying back into the bedroom. I grin brightly as I hear the notifications sound.

I take my scroll and use it as instructed and hear the sound three notification all around my vaccinity.

Suddenly the front door flings open and out comes a LV 10 Xavier dripping with sweat. He looks at me and then at my level before looking at the hole in the wall, then back at me. "What the fuck?!" He yells and I tilt my head. "It was free kill" I tell him and he looks at me with utter confusion.
"You got a special Class from your treasure chest? What else did you get other than the gear and class" he asks with wide eyes and I huff. "Can't a girl have her secrets? Our contract says that we cannot betray each other, but I don't have to tell every detail of my life to you" I tell him and he blinks before impersonating a goldfish.

"Can you at least tell me how many skills you got from your class?" He asks and I grin. "I got three" and that statement causes blood to rush into his cheeks before he finally looks down.
"You got summoner type class, didn't you? Good god, not only that, it's also a special class. Your luck is a goddamn bug and that skill allows you to gain a treasure chest as long as you kill creatures C+ and up" I blink at him before plopping my ass onto the bed in comfort.

It took a week before he canceled our contract. It was a sad outcome, but he couldn't take the fact he had to work his ass off to level up and I just got my levels for free. It's not my fault monster comes at me, and I know their weakness.
I didn't get more than one item from the B rank treasure chest, but it was a upgradable item. It was two ankle bracelets that allowed me to fly without a care in the world. It also meant, I didn't need to worry about ground monsters. Only the once in the sky.
