"You can't be serious. There is no way, I am letting you do that." Alexei said.
We were both seated in my room at sundown. He was sitting on the sofa and I was on the bed with my legs crossed. The warm evening breeze was flowing into the room making the chilly atmosphere dissipate. The room is dimly lit with just the bedside lamp. The going sun fills the room with its fading atmosphere.
I had just told him that I needed to go home and he just rejected me outrightly.
"Tell me one good reason why you need to go home and maybe I can just let you leave." Alexei was facing me, his left leg crossed over the right, eyes squinted and his wet hair ruffled. His arms folded against his chest, his right leg constantly tapping against the soft rug, allowing it to make ligt ruffling noises.
"I need some time alone" I stated.
